How does one specify command line switches for a Helper Application in Mozilla Firefox?

Greetings,
I would like to have a certain batch file to be executed when downloading torrent files unfortunately the Select Helper Application dialog does not allow to add command line switches. I did find a workaround to achieve this. In the Select Helper Application dialog browse to the folder which contains the batch file, type the file name including the file extension of the batch file and click on Open.
Though, this is not the way I would like to execute the batch file. I need to pass some additional command line switches to the command interpreter but I cannot seem to find a way how. Any suggestions or clarifications would be much appreciated.

I created a new set of Flex component library slib.swc (Flex 4.5). Would also like to have a default style. defaults.css file, making it the default style of the component library.
Like flex the builder install directory of sdks \ 4.5.0 \ frameworks out \ libs directory has a spark.swc file, open with Winrar will see defaults.css this file. Defaults.css file defines the default style of the flex spark components.
How can it be achieved?
As follows
slib.swc contains a CLabelEx components, and a defaults.css file

dj is right. Any Folder can be a picture folder.
Create a root level folder and add it to your Pictures Library in Windows. It will show up with all the scattered pictures from other programs. It can even be a different dirve if you like. You can even specify one to be the default save location for pictures in this dialog.
Navigate to Pictures in your Libraries in Windows Explorer Right Click and select Properties.

How does one change the font size for folders and/or file lists in the '''Bookmarks''' Library?
Since the upgrade to version 9.0.1 of Firefox, the Bookmarks feature changes are confusing me. They seem to be confusing themselves as well. The list of bookmarks has changed. The font size is so small that my aging eyes cannot read it without fogging the screen with my breath. Some folders are out of alphabetical order (where I know they were previously good), and some are missing altogether (folders to which I frequently add references).
As for missing or deranged files or folders, was there something that I should have done or now need to do to recover those after the upgrade (or before)?
With regard to font size,
1. there is no “Edit Bookmarks” or like option to edit the list in this version
2. the “zoom” option in the “view” list of functions is greyed out when in “Show All Bookmarks” window
3. expanding the browser window has no effect on font size
4. “Preferences” settings for font size has no effect in that window either, including advanced settings
5. “Help” offers none that I can find.
Can any of you Help?!?

I noticed the CSS Style settings only seem to work if using a "Standard Report Column". Unfortunately I have the need to define some report columns where undesired wrapping occurs as "Display as Text (based on LOV, does not save state)" and tried to avoid wrapping, but no luck - is there a way around this (other than performing the report query using a huge DECODE clause, which somewhat renders the LOV useless except for data entry)?

How does one change the date format for PlayMemories Home folders?

I am using PlayMemories Home Version 2.0.00.11271 and have many folders within it which contain only photographs imported from my Sony DSC-H9. Unfortunately, PlayMemories Home insists upon dating all folders in a month/day/year manner; and this makes little sense if one wishes to have the folders listed in logical chronological order. How can I change the date format to year/month/day? Changing the name of each folder, one by one, will take a very long time! Your helpful advice in this matter will be greatly appreciated. I too thought that the folder naming format was obviously wrong and couldn't find a way to change it. I do agree that placing photos in folders according to when they were taken is a great idea. I had been considering writing some software to do just that. After discovering that PlayMemories does it, I had it re-import all my photos. Then I wrote a small Perl script to rename all of the folders into year-month-day format. Included here is the Perl script. It only acts on a single folder - use it on the root folder where all the PlayMemories folders are. It will rename all folders currently in a month-day-year format. I used it without problems but of course there is no guarentee that it is error free. This should work with any common version of Perl. Command line switch for silent install (-ms) no longer works for Firefox 35.0

In previous versions of Firefox, I've downloaded the full installer from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ and created a silent install package using the command line-
"FirefoxSetup35.0.exe" -ms /INI="configuration.ini"
drop the -ms and it installs (albeit not silently)
drop the /INI and it fails
that would indicate that the problem is the -ms switch. Any ideas?

How does one update original airport card for WPA?

Hi, I've an earlier AX, and an original airport card that I understand can be updated to be able to be WPA compatible. How do I do this? The AX is setup for WPA/WPA2 personal, and I have no trouble joining the network from other macs, and I just learned that the original airport card is supposedly able to be updated to also handle WPA. This card is installed on a g3 imac 700 se with os 10.4.11.
I also posted this question in the airport express forum, but thought it may have a better chance of being answered here after I thought about it a bit.

You can't get it to do WPA2.
You can get it to do WPA if you have the right software installed, which you probably already do:

Turning "off" Wi-Fi might not be that much of a challenge even for him. To disconnect from the Internet, click the Wi-Fi (fan) icon in the Mac's menu bar and select Turn Wi-Fi Off.
This assumes he is not connecting to the Internet using an Ethernet cable. The Ethernet cable plugs into the back of the iMac. It locks in place with a plastic tab, like a landline phone connector.
Then, continue with the rest of the procedure in "Ransomware" web pages at Step 3.
Step 6 reverses the disconnection procedure. Your Dad has to understand that he won't be able to connect to the Internet until that step.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

How does one install non-English character sets for use with the "find" function in Acrabat Pro 11?

I have pdf files in European languages and want to be able to enter non-English characters in the "find" function. How does one install other character sets for use with Acrobat Pro XI?

Have you tried applying the update by going to Help>Updates within Photoshop Lightroom? The update should be using the same licensing? Did you perhaps customize the installation location? Finally which operating system are you using?

Command Line Parameters for Run Application.vi in the LVWUtil

I am trying to use the "Run Application.vi" located in the LVWUtil.llb. I am sending a command line similiar to this:
"C:\WINXP\system32\msiexec.exe" /i "C:\qc data\ZVMS Program Updates\Application Installer\install.msi"
this command line works from the Start>Run dialog but the Run Application.vi only sees the beginning of the line "C:\WINXP\system32\msiexec.exe" so it opens the windows installler but does not go to the install.msi file and run it. Does anyone know the correct command line formats for the Run Application.vi to run the entire command line?

I downloaded the LVWUtil32.zip file from the Windows API Function Utilities (32-bit) for LabVIEW example program. In that zip file, is a library entitled Winevent.lib, which includes the Run Application.vi. When you used this VI, I believe the string you passed in as a input had too many quotation marks. Namely, you do not need quotes around the msiexec.exe call. I passed the following string into the Run Application.vi and got the expected results:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe /i "C:\mymsi.msi"
