How does OWSM stop someone trying to access the endpoint directly

Hi all,
can't seem to find the answer to this customer question:
I have an OWSM G/W protecting an endpoint. What if someone sniffs the link and can formulate a request to the endpoint. Apart from SSL encrypting the link is there a way to configure the endpoint so it will only accept requests from the OWSM G/W and noone else?

If I use Access Manager or OWSM in conjunction with weblogic is it possible to have a web service endpoint accept a SAML token, have that SAML token validated, and have the weblogic security context populated with the end user's identity information?
I'm really concerned on receiving the end-user identity when multiple web service hops occur.

Well, we seem to have confirmed that
(1) Your DOCX files are opening in Adobe Reader, and
(2) Your PDF files are opening in Microsoft Word.
Now, we had a go at fixing this but it seems pretty tangled up. It may be better to just forget double clicking and use File > Open in Word for DOCX files, and File > Open in Adobe Reader for PDF files. If you're having trouble even doing that, let's focus on getting that bit working for you - let us know the problem.
(NB Because things are messed up you CANNOT rely on the icon to decide on the type of file. Use Properties to look at the file name or type).

Stop using the drive immediately, un plug it.
Buy a copy of ProSoft DataRescue 4 and use it to search for deleted files.

The download never stops trying to access the download site and there is no way to get help.....that is why it will never be my default browser...is there any help out there?????

i keep getting asked to download an update and when I hit the tab it continualy is "trying to access the site" yet it never happens. Also when I have upgraded and need to move 1 image inside the other to load it, that set of images never vanishes......way too complicated unless s0meone can tell me how to fix it. it seems my subscription had expired so I signed up again.. It was still having trouble so I repeated the sign up process again.. Then it worked perfectly.. Unfortunately, I think I just subscribed twice and need to cancel one of them. Ugh. Such a pain when I'm trying to get this project completed. I'll be canceling at least one of the subscriptions in the morning. Adobe is not my favorite company right now. None of this was intuitive. And trying to get help was an absolute waste of an hour.

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

That would most likely be your printer.
If your HP printer has a SD card reader built in, that is the "shared" network device.
Select the hpp78acc06244 and it'll look something like this:

You can reset your Apple ID password via the steps in the first article below. I would try the option to answer your security questions. If those steps do not work then you may need to reach out to our account security team to reset this old Apple ID password. Once this is done you should be able to access your old DRM protected purchases.

I am trying to convert a pdf file to an excel file. I get a completely unhelpful message that says "error while trying to access the service" .
What does this mean and how do i fix it?

Thank you for posting on the Adobe forums. If you are already subscribed to the service, kindly try the steps mentioned below.
1) Open Adobe Reader Edit>preferences
2) Go to Adobe Online services>change the email address to the one you have subscribed the service with
3) Go to identity> change the email address there as well
4) Click OK
5) Restart the Adobe Reader and try to access the service again.
If you have not subscribed to the service please do that as, we do not offer trial for Create PDF.
