How does Photo Shack HD interact with iPad's Photos?

I want to be able to display titles and comments with my protos on the iPad (iPad 1, with iOS 5.1). But I want to do the organization, selection, and annotations in iPhoto, on the Mac (bigger screen, external screen, much eassier to work with.)
Photo Shack HD seems to promise this ability, but I understand it used the data sync'ed in Photos. So the question is, does this data (copied to Photos from iPhoto on the Mac) contain this extra data, so that when Photo Shack accessews the iformation in Photos, it can see it?
I know Photos doesn't let you see any of this information.
Anybody out there used Photo Shack, who can give me some advice?

I have tested iPhoto on iPhone, not on iPad. The editing you can do on iPhone is limited and the file is strong reduced for the only purpose to see it on iPhone. While you send it back to Mac you have something which compared to the original can be regarded as a preview of Aperture. I do not know if with iPad will be better but I do not believe you can do some editing on it and than use it on a workflow in Aperture.

Restore your new iPad from your most recent backup of your iPad2 in iTunes when you set it up, and then set up your wife's iPad2 as new device in iTunes by clicking on 'restore' on the main summary screen.
Alternatively, you can just go to 'Settings>Reset>Erase all Contents and Settings'.

Say I sync 100gb of photos with the new Photos app and turn on sync on a 16gb iphone. Will it fill the device up to 16gb? Can I tell it to limit to xgb so I leave room for music and apps? How does this work? Will it slow down my phone if its trying to sync 100gb across smaller devices?

"Will the Apple TV now read directly from the Time Capsule?" ATV does not 'read' from the TC. It connects to the Mac and itunes library associated with the Mac. Of course the itunes program can 'point' to a library on the TC. You'll still need to have itunes open and the Mac powered on and not sleeping with the TC mounted to the Desktop to use ATV properly. So bottom line the use of TC just adds one more step to view files on the ATV.

IME the best way to know for sure is to experiment. The docs are only one person's best understanding of how things worked on the day, which is seldom 100% accurate. I find that even with code I wrote I can't accurately say 100% of what it does until I've worked with it for a while. Keep in mind that the docs are usually written when the code is written, so never expect more than a rough idea from the docs.

You can use some USB flashdrives with the iPad's camera connection kit, but a lot of them require more power than is supplied to the kit, and you can only photos and videos to the iPad's Photos app with it - you can't copy other content, nor copy content off the iPad with it. Depending upon what you want to use it for you might be better off with syncing, Dropbox, emailing content, copying via your wifi network etc (depending upon the item type and what the app that you want to copy to/from supports)
