How does premiere pro CC work with nvidia GT 630M (2GB) vega???!

how does premiere pro CC work with nvidia GT 630M (2GB) vega????!

That will work. I would just not expect major performance with a heavier load on playback.

How does find my iphone work with one apple id or two? also I am going to be going off to college soon should I make an itunes id for my self and how will I get all the music from the old id?

    Is it possible to have your whole family on one apple id or is it better to have each person have there own?
    Yes, it is possible. 1 apple ID can be associated with up to 10 devices.
    If each has their own does each id have to buy their own music and apps?
    Yes, all purchases are non-transferable.
    How does find my iphone work with one apple id or two?
    Every device associated with one apple ID through Find my iPhone is tied to that Apple ID; Find my iPhone will work in the same way with up to ten devices associated with one apple ID. You cannot enable Find my iPhone for one device across two apple IDs
    I am going to be going off to college soon should I make an itunes id for my self and how will I get all the music from the old id?
    If you have authorized a computer with the old apple ID, you can transfer old media purchased through the old to other devices via iTunes. This doesn't mean the media purchases through the old apple ID it transferred to the new account. If you plan to make future purchases and don't wish to share them with others, make your own apple ID.

  • How does the newest Iphone work with Ford Sync?

    How does the new Iphone work with Ford Sync? I was thinking of purchasing the 4s but may go elsewhere if there is a better phone for the equipment in my vehicle.

    That would be a NO.. I should have done my homework before I switched to IPhone because the Bluetooth just does not want to sync with my Ford Truck. Its such an inconvience. But I see from other posts that Ford isn't the only car experiencing problems. So Hopefully Apple fixes this problem QUICKLY!

  • How does operator 'less than' work with Rectangle objects?

    Just found in legacy code the following:
    private var firstRect:Rectangle;
    private var secondRect:Rectangle;
    if (firstRect < secondRect)
    // do something
    How does operator 'less than' work with Rectangle objects?
    Doc says that object is converted to number if it is not a String.
    Rectangle is not a String, though has conversion to String.
    Please help.

    IME the best way to know for sure is to experiment. The docs are only one person's best understanding of how things worked on the day, which is seldom 100% accurate. I find that even with code I wrote I can't accurately say 100% of what it does until I've worked with it for a while. Keep in mind that the docs are usually written when the code is written, so  never expect more than a rough idea from the docs.

  • How does the sync functionality work with large libraries on small devices?

    How does the sync functionality work with large libraries?
    Say I sync 100gb of photos with the new Photos app and turn on sync on a 16gb iphone. Will it fill the device up to 16gb? Can I tell it to limit to xgb so I leave room for music and apps? How does this work? Will it slow down my phone if its trying to sync 100gb across smaller devices?

    "Will the Apple TV now read directly from the Time Capsule?" ATV does not 'read' from the TC. It connects to the Mac and itunes library associated with the Mac. Of course the itunes program can 'point' to a library on the TC. You'll still need to have itunes open and the Mac powered on and not sleeping with the TC mounted to the Desktop to use ATV properly. So bottom line the use of TC just adds one more step to view files on the ATV.

  • How does Premiere Pro perform on a Dell XPS 15?

    Trying to establish if Premiere Pro (via a full subscription of the Creative Cloud suite for $49.99) is worth the investment when I'm working on a Dell XPS 15 laptop with 16 GB of RAM (rest of the hardware is standard top-of-the line XPS 15 options, i.e. quad core processor, NVIDIA video card, etc).  I've been using Adobe Premiere Elements and a ton of 4K GoPro footage with some pretty meaningful slowdown when rendering.  This could be par for the course, but I'd just as quickly go with another video editing program like Sony Vegas for my purposes and pay far less, but of course also get far less in terms of Adobe power.
    Also - this laptop does not have a 7200rpm hard drive (the one that isn't solid state, which is 32GB by itself).  It's 1TB but likely in the high 5's instead...not sure if I can use a faster external hard drive and meet optimal spec requirements to preserve video as much as possible.  Please advise.

    My inquiry is actually to the reverse of your suggestion; I have the laptop, but I hadn't yet purchased the Adobe Cloud Creative Suite.  Though I went ahead and did so this week.  The XPS 15 was chosen for its lightweight aluminum / carbon fiber construction, Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM, 1TB of hard drive space for ample storage, and the SSD for active programs so things are quick to launch.  I've had very few complaints with the laptop itself, having used only Adobe Premiere Elements (which came with the purchase) and the GoPro app for developing a few videos of aerial GoPro footage.  It has served its purpose; I'm not a professional doing this work to sustain my living - it's a hobby to me, though I aim to have the best possible quality in all things when possible. Granted, I could've spent the same amount of money, or perhaps a little more, and gotten the best and fastest desktop arrangement money could buy for my purposes with ample more power and performance, but I wanted 100% mobility for all my equipment (drone, camera, and video production unit).  Gives-and-takes in everything, of course - the biggest consequence has been rendering, but in this forum that probably goes without saying, and though not awesome, it's livable even when using GoPro 4K codec as BartonGarrett256 wisely mentions.
    Nevertheless, Adobe Premiere has been doing well so far...certainly better than the Elements application in terms of both performance and capability (naturally).  I haven't gotten to After Effects yet, though I do love having that at my whim with my Cloud subscription which is, to me, well worth what you get for what you pay if you know you'll be using multiple applications for the foreseeable future.  The days of paying hundreds of dollars for one application are ending, as well they should in my opinion.
    Though I'm open-minded to what one might suggest for the most powerful laptop on the market - 8 core is honestly news to me.  My XPS was purchase in December 2014 and it had the best processor Dell could offer with the XPS model.  I almost went with an Alienware, but it would've been a lot bulkier, and the display was archaic in a world moving more and more toward crystal clarity wherever possible.
    One other setback I would love advice / opinions on - the 1TB drive that came with the XPS is not 7000+ in speed...I recall it being in the 5's.  Can I remedy this with an external drive that does have the higher speeds cited as optimal for the Adobe video editing suite?

  • Premiere Pro CC 2014 with NVIDIA system freezes (Win7x64)

    It appears after perhaps the last update Premiere Pro CC 2014 started freezing during editing. It appears to happen mostly with 4K material and using the Ultra key and alpha blending but may also occur with 4K titles. The sequences are 23.976 1080p, with mixed footage from the Sony A7S (50 Mbps XAVC-S/H.264) and GH4 (4K 100 Mbps H.264). There are also frequent crashes with GPUFoundation.dll (Mercury + CUDA). No freezing with software only rendering. I tried a variety of drivers when using a Quadro 5000 with no change in freeze behavior. I tried a new GTX 770 (clean driver install) and the freeze behavior and GPUFoundation.dll crashes are the same, however now even the mouse freezes. With the Quadro 5000, the entire Windows GUI would freeze (become inactive), however the mouse would still move. Thus, it appears there are issues with both NVidia drivers and Premiere Pro CUDA code path on Windows (app errors shouldn't be able to lock up the entire GUI). GPU Meter shows low GPU and GPU memory utilization during the freezes. The freezes typically occur when switching between clips during playback or scrubbing (more often with fast scrubbing). As a developer, it feels like some kind of semaphore lock / race condition, since during the freezes CPU, GPU, and memory utilization are very low. Additional hardware info: 2010 MacPro 12-Core, 24GB RAM running Win7x64 (with latest updates). Side note: PPro used to hang in memory on exit, but stopped after a recent Microsoft forced update (PPro now crashes sometimes on exit but no longer hangs in memory (used to have to kill it after exiting every time)). Has this been reported before? (A7S XAVC & GH4 4K footage is relatively new)

    This crash occurred when dragging Black Video with Noise and other effects on top of alpha composited layers (+3 layers). CUDA turned the rendered area black, so I switched to OpenCL. This crash happened a few minutes later. While this would appear to be an Nvidia driver error (OpenCL), perhaps the developers can investigate. The system is very stable except when doing complex operations in PPro (and only PPro crashes). A tried and true Quadro 5000 crashed in the same way (totally different hardware and drivers).
    The full debug info wouldn't post, edited shorter:

  • Why does snaps pro not work with mountain lion?

    I spent a lot money purchasing the pro addition only to be told that it won't work with mountain lion due to Apple's written something into the code that does not permit me to make videos with it. I even tried ot make a video of Indesign acting up so i could send it to Adobe support and it wouldn't allow me to. Is this the resaon it suddenly doesn't work anymore? Are there plans to fix mountian lion to allow me to use my software? Alternatively,, does Apple have something that does screen captures of videos?

    this is the repsonse form Ambrosia: (Not sure I understand it)
    As far as Snapz Pro X 2 functionality, some major backend Digital Rights Management changes enacted by Apple may be what is preventing you from recording movies you were previously able to record using our software. Basically, our program can no longer access videos before the DRM protections are enabled, unfortunately we have no control over these changes. Please see the following FAQ:http://www.ambrosiasw.com/support/faqs/products/snapz-pro-x /Why-does-the-content-of-my-capture-display-as-a-checkerboard
    BTW I am current on the latgest version.
    Does anybody know how to work around my problem? I need to be able to record videos on my computer.

  • AUDIOPHILES: How would Apple Pro Speakers work with newer equipment?

    I LOVE my G4's Apple Pro Speakers and want to use them on my new Intel iMac - Ideally to plug them into my JBL Creature Speaker bass.
    My theory is to simple cut the wire before the Y junction and put on a RCA plug that would plug into my JBL Bass.
    Have any audiophiles done this or have an opinion on if this would work?
    Would the JBL Bass recognize the Apple Pro Speakers?

    The Apple Pro speakers do not work with any computer other than an iMac G4 or a Power Mac G4 with the mini-plug. It is a different plug because they are powered by the computer, while a standard 1/8-inch plug is not.
    If you really want to use those speakers (they are not very good, the JBL Creatures that you speak of are much better), Griffin Technologies used to make something called the iFire which let you do that. It was box that had the mini jack and used the audio and one FireWire port of your computer to power it. I am not exactly sure why they do not sell it anymore. Look on eBay or something like that.
    I am not sure how well your solution will work, because it is a thin cable, probably twisted together. And these speakers are far from audiophile quality.

  • Does Premiere Pro subscription come with Media Encoder?

    It's amazing how there is no means to get a hold of Adobe to ask a simple sales question.  It looks like the only option is for their customers to provide the answers.  Not promising for long-term support...
    Does anyone know if a single product subscription to Premiere Pro CC also provides Adobe Media Encoder as part of that $20 monthly price or is AME considered a second app, thus a $40 price tag?  Secondly, is AME available as a single app purchase apart from Premiere Pro or AE?  Just trying to figure out what my options are.  Thanks in advance.

    It doesn't come as a separate app. It's part of the Premiere Pro app.

  • Does Logic Pro 9 work with Mountain Lion?

    Hey!
    I was wondering...
    My computer has Snow Leopard installed and i would really like to get Mountain Lion. BUT there is a problem... I don't know if Logic Pro 9 will with Mountain Lion. Can anybody help me with it? And also does Logic Pro 8 and the microsoft pack (word, powerpoint, excel etc. 2011) work too? Please help me if you know it
    THANK YOU
    Cheers
    - Kufax

    Since I'm not in the middle of anything critical and have multiple backups, I decided to take the plunge and upgrade. I've only been running for an hour or so, but here's where I am:
    2008 MacPro, 8x2.8Ghz, 16Gb RAM. SSL MADI PCIe card for I/O. Logic 9.1.7
    Tested with a couple of recent, decent size projects (40+ tracks, VIs and plugins). Not seeing any perormance differences.
    Working:
    - Euphonix MC Mix
    - UAD2 Duo
    - Spectrasonics Omnisphere
    - NI Komplete 8
    - Waves 9
    - Soundtoys 4
    - Wallander Instruments
    - EW Play
    - Melodyne
    NOT Working:
    - Access Virus TI. Plugin opens but cannot connect to Virus. I am running the latest stable v4 release - I will try installing the v5 public Beta and report back. This is a deal breaker so if I cannot get it working I will roll back to Lion
    - SSL Duende Native. Authorization is failing. Possibly a CodeMeter issue or just authorizations lost during upgrade - will look at this next.
    Make sure you are running the latest iLok driver - there was one released a few days ago.
    More as it develops.

  • Can Premiere Pro CC work with mpeg files?

    I tried to work with *.mpeg files, but can import them into a project.
    Can Premiere Pro CC impoert and export mpeg (1, 2)  files?

    Lucky ...
    As shooternz says, yes ... although if you are new, you may not realize that when you start a project, you have to manually "create a sequence" first, THEN you can add clips to the sequence. Until you have a sequence on the timeline, simply dragging & dropping from either the source monitor or project/browser panel to the timeline area will not work. Nor trying add a clip to the timeline either by the properties panel (after right-clicking on a clip) or the top menus.
    Create a new sequence on the timeline, then ... you can drag & drop from either the source or project/browser panels, right-clicking on footage and using the property menus, all now works.
    Steps to create a new sequence ... "ctrl(cmd) - N" with keyboard to create a new sequence, or in project/media browser panel ... right-click and choose "new -> sequence", or in that panel click on the piece of paper with a folded-corner icon (lower right corner) then choose "new->sequence" or of course, "File->new->sequence" from the main menu bar.

  • Newbie: How does the security manager work with EJB?

    My bean does security-senisitive stuff (like getting the Policy object) and must not do so unless I give it permission in the policy file. So far so good. But the permission will only work if I grant it to ALL code, like:
    grant {
    permission java.security.SecurityPermission "getPolicy";
    Beans do not seem to have a protection domain or code source/certificates attached to it. so I cannot say
    grant "/file/sw/ejb/myejb.jar" {
    permission java.security.SecurityPermission "getPolicy";
    Why is that (probably because beans run remote)? But more importantly, how DO I set permissions based on which bean it is?

    If I add that directory as the codebase to
    a grant statement any class loaded from there will
    have the specified permission.I thought so, too, and that is why I went digging for the code source of my bean (i.e. where is it deployed, from where is it loaded) but that source is NULL:
    Some program output:
    ==Has security manager: com.sun.enterprise.J2EESecurityManager
    ==Code source is ProtectionDomain (null <no certificates>)
    The code seems to have no code source (null) and no signatures (in fact, I also signed my code with the keytool but that certificate did not show here either).
    I am running this against the j2ee server 1.3 -- just experimenting, but it does not go so well. :-)
