How does the N70 phone memory interact with the me...

I am not sure how to use the phone memory and the card memory on my N70. I thought that the memory card was simply an overflow which was activated when my phone memory was full. However when I download music from my PC and my phone memory is full I will get the message "not enough memory". Obviously I'm being a "thicko" again. Help!Message Edited by holein1 on 26-Apr-2006

It doesn't quite work in the way you suggest. You will always have the option to use the memory card instead of the phone memory. If you want your phone to have a fairly quick response time it's best practice to keep as much free phone memory as possible, eg. of my approx 20MB, I use about 5MB which leaves approx 15MB unused. There are some files I do store in phone memory in order to keep my N70 running relatively quick and that's actively used ringtones and any themes that I currently use.
When you install 3rd party applications, your phone will ask you whether you want to install to phone memory or to the memory card.
If your having issues of filling up the phone memory with incoming messages then you can choose to have incoming messages routed directly to your memory card thus bypassing the phone memory. To access the setting go to:
Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings > Other > Memory in use
Change memory in use from phone memory to memory card.
This should cure your "not enough memory" error messages.

i have already try the copy/paste thing with the ID of the file "iTunes Music Library.xml" it didn't change a thing. each time I relaunched Itunes, the ID is the first I have in the MAC.
I have more than 5 000 files of music. I don't want to recreate one by one all my playlits.

You can sync iphone with one and only one computer at a time. If you sync to another, it will erase the current content and replace with content form the new computer. There is no way around this.
Put everything on one computer and sync from there.
BTW, you posted in the Home Share forum. Your question seems to have nothing to do with home share.

How does one use an external microphone with the internal camera?

I want to use the internal camera because I don't have anything better but I want to use an external mic to record video and sound simultaneously, for a video blog. How does one accomplish this? I'm getting no help from the manual.

Try this. Connect your external mic, either through the audio line in port or, into a USB port if it is a USB mic and then go to System Preferences under the Apple and select the Sound icon under Hardware. Click on your mic shown in the list of input devices.

Regarding your first question about bookmarks, I think you discovered the answer in when you pressed the address bar. The second tab there has your bookmarks.
As for the keyboard, I'm not sure why your Firefox is reacting so slowly; mine seems to show keyboards even when I don't want them. If you have accumulated a lot of history, perhaps that's an issue?
Did you use any third party software to move your Firefox data from internal memory to the storage card?

Now I do want to let you know that your phone has a "main" gmail account. If this "main" gmail account was the one you deleted it may be best that you reset your phone and activate it to your new gmail address.
The reason I recommend doing this is all of your purchased application information is also tied to your gmail.

What are you talking about? There is no "compatibility feature" on the iPhone, and .exe files won't run on the phone.
Please slow down and explain exactly what you're trying to do and what happens when you try.

so what do you think. I run a software on windows 7 running via bootcamp on my mbp, but I can't open it. the software is compatible with windows 7 on mac. I tried opening it as administrator or changing the compatibility options, like running it as windows xp, and changing the resolution of the video. it can't build the window and then it crashes. on internet I found a compatibility list of the software where it says please do not use any shared memory for the graphic card. what does it mean? There is no difference please be aware that each login is provided with two activations however. If you wish to have a computer at both work and home activated though that is perfectly fine as long as your employer is ok with using company software at home.

Firefox has trouble initiating, and when it finally does, every time I attempt to interact with the application it stops responding.

Firefox won’t initialize: I can open any program on my computer except for Firefox so it isn't that my computer is slow. It doesn't open at all no matter how long I wait. I've left the room and let the computer run before and it still wasn’t running when I came back. After a few clicks it finally it comes up, and I have to wait because I’ve clicked multiple times so of course it's going to open multiple times. When I'm online after successfully closing all but one Firefox window so that I don't crash my poor laptop, every time I attempt to interact with the program via clicking a link, opening a new tab, or typing something into the URL bar, the program freezes and goes into the not responding stage. Rarely, an unresponsive script message will pop up.

No not bothered about sycing apps etc it is all about calendars and maybe notes. IN terms of how its done I just want it the easiest way and preferably so that if an entry is made on one calendar then it populates the other.

Mail will no longer download on the MacBook Pro and keeps asking for my password.

Mail should still be usable with your machine - but you'll need to update the settings to conform to the requirements of your system. Check with your ISP (like ATT, etc.) for the settings that will work with your Mail. Once you've updated this, you should be able to email like before.
For example, my ISP required that I go to Mail Preferences/Accounts and make sure the details conform to your email settings.
I have no idea of what your ISP is or what the settings might be, but this is likely the source of the problem.

Phone A = phone with information you want duplicated
Phone B = phone that you want to copy from A
Backup Phone A.
Wipe Phone B using these instructions. What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Phone B should be on the 'Hello' screen. Do not swipe it. Launch iTunes. Plug in Phone B.
When iTunes asks if you want to set up as new phone or restore from backup, choose restore from backup of Phone A.
After this setup, any changes to one phone (i.e. adding a contact, downloading an app) will have to be manually duplicated on the second phone, if that is your desire). Making changes to one phone will not affect the other after setup.
