How does the PO WF trigger?
Hi Guys,
The question may seem simple, but I am looking for a tough solution.
I am aware that we have BUS2012-RELEASESTEPCREATED as the triggering event for the PO Workflow. and in SWETYPV we mantain the link between the workflow and the event. All this is working absolutely fine.
I also understand the fact that when a PO (that has only one release strategy which is released via Workflow) is created and saved, the event RELEASESTEPCREATED gets published ( i have verified this in SWEL) and hence WF triggers.
Our requirement is to stop this triggering of the workflow for a specific set of purchase orders, all of which are created via a customized transaction. We are trying not to make any changes from the workflow level to inhibit its execution (by using start conditions, etc). So we would like to know if there are any possibilities that we can add code between the saving of the PO and the triggering of the workflow so that it prevents the latter. Does any one have any clue how this can be achieved?

Thanks for your time to looking into my post.
Well, let me write in short what our requirement is. we are creating anew transaction to release POs, in which this new transaction will use ME28 to release the POs. Our new transaction will have the ability to release POs on a mass scale, hence the usage of the new transaction as compared to the standard ME28.
When we do this 'mass release' of POs, we dont want workflows to trigger as it would generate lot of emails and workitems. Hence, we need to stop the workflow to trigger in the first place.
But, (a big BUT), when such a PO (that got created via mass release) gets its release strategy reset (say by increasing the PO amount in the future), we then would like the Workflow to trigger and proceed as usual.
So the bottom line is, when such POs get 'mass released', for the first time we do not want the WF to trigger, but the second and subsequent times we do want the WF.
any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

"If you want the code inside your KEY-COMMIT-trigger executed, you will have to do a DO_KEY('COMMIT_FORM'); instead"

How does the WF trigger for a PO
Hi!
The buyer creates a PO in ME21N, and completes release 00. Release 01 happens through workflow for PO release.
My question is, once the buyer completes 00 release, how does the Workflow trigger? Is there any event that triggers the PO release WF? If yes then where can I see this information?

Pages 94 to 96 describe in detail how tFRC (transactional RFC) works.
However, there is still something unclear for me with the following sentence on page 94:
"The truly exciting part happens when the program
issues a COMMIT WORK command. The recorded calls
are executed asynchronously in a special set of tRFC
processing sessions created for each transaction ID..."
Maybe someone can answer the following questions:
a) what does exactly trigger and execute the tRFC?
b) is it the ABAP runtime system itself, spawning the additional task in DIA?
c) if multiple tRFC LUWs have been recorded, they are all executed in parallel by this procedure!?
d) does the execution try to utilize all available DIA processes?
e) how do the rdisp/rfc_... parameter come into the game?
are they evaluated? We have seen all DIA occupied by the tRFCs executed!

This piece of code looks at the SPDatabase's connection string (the SQL alias, for example) and executes a T-SQL query looking for that name within SQL Server. Since the SQL alias does not exist within the SQL Server's configuration, it will return a null
value, and you won't be able to set up the AG config using the AG cmdlets.

First, I have a class inherited from Applet. Okay, I did that.
How do I convert this class to a CAP file? I mean I have a class file which is compiled by javac, do I use this file to convert into a CAP file? What is an AID? Do I make up this AID?
In this .scr file (APDU Script), I understand the first 4 bytes, it means to create an Applet, but what about the rest? I know there are some intermixes of lengths and AIDs, I just can't decipher this.

How does the remote object connect to the correct host
i have had a small doubt on how the remote reference manages to find the correct host to call the subsequent methods after a sucessful lookup.
given a rebind or bind to the registry, the registry only stores the alias and the remote reference, now imagine a client calling a lookup on the registry would only get the remote reference, and not in which machine the remote object is found.
what i wanted to know is how does the client or atleast the remote reference returned by the registry correctly connects to the machine where the remote object is located. i dont think its stored in the stub bcos the stub is a complie time stuff.
i would be pleased to have a comprehensive answer for this.The membership in the group communication framework is always accurate and upto date.Up to date to the moment when you check. Not up to date to the moment when you make the RMI call.
i could basically chk if this ip is available in the membership list.Complete waste of time. It doesn't matter what you check ahead of time, you are still trying to predict the future.
And you still have to deal with ConnectException etc from the actual remote method call. And the way you will deal with that in your situation is exactly the same as what you were going to do if your ahead-of-time check failed.
So just catch the exception(s) and deal with the problem there. -

The Write Measurement File just writes whatever you give it. It you send it 5000 data points, it will write the 5000 data points.

I have a $9.99 app and it was sitting at 10th place in the top grossing apps a few weeks ago on the UK app store, now I noticed in the morning that it was ahead of an app which was 49.99 so i presumed that I must have sold at least 5 or 6 to be ahead of him (my idea of top grossing is quantity x price) but when itunesconnect released their reports in the afternoon it turned out that i'd only sold 1 copy.. so what im asking is basically how does the top grossing section work? and how regularly does it update? is it live? daily? etc
