How does YouTube Share decide where to upload videos?

For some years I have uploaded most of my videos to YouTube direct from Share. Last week I registered a new account with Google and lo and behold when I just tried out a 15 sec test piece it uploaded direct to this new account. How can I default it back to my older YouTube where I have many subscribers, as I can detect no obvious link. (I am using PE9).
Many thanks.

Where your YouTube videos upload to depends on which account you're logged into in Premiere Elements, Moppett.
If you're seeing these videos while logged into another account, it may just be that Google/YouTube just recognizes your name or your computer and they decided to show you all of your accounts at once. Google's software is kind of sneaky that way.

  • How does the system decide where to put a file on the desktop?

So you've just created some sort of file, and you choose to save it to the desktop.   A second later--presto!--the file icon appears on the screen.
How does the computer decide where on the desktop to put that icon?

I'm not 100% on this, but I think the system will save files to the last destination you nominated unless you designate another destination at the point of saving. I guess you previously saved something to the Desktop.
Just tested it on my two Macs and that's how it behaves here.

  • How does one share calendar on all family iPhones?

How does one share calendar on all family iPhones without giving credit card for Family Share?

    Hello RetiredRichard1,
You do not need to have Family Sharing to share a calendar. All you need to do is figure out if you want the rest of the family to have the ability to create events with in it. If you do, then share it privately. If you just want them to see your calendar, share it publicly and they can just read it. Take a look at the article below to walk you through how to do this. If you want to follow along with the article, it will have you do things on iCloud.com but you can do this on your iOS devices and Mac.

  • How does disk utility decide which optical drive to use for burn?

This is a somewhat daft question and purely out of interest.
How does disk utility decide which optical drive bay to open for burning?
I have two drives in a MacPro and both have the same capabilities (DVD-RW). Why does it sometimes open the lower one, and sometimes the top one?

The estimate is based on how long it already took to do how many blocks, and how many blocks are left to do. If you told it to overwrite 35 times, it will be a long, long time before it completes.
The estimate is made grossly large by the presence of Bad Blocks that need to be Read during the test (not the case with Erase and Write Zeroes).
Each Block is written with some redundancy bits, so that small errors can be corrected on reading. A Bad Block causes the drive to re-read. and re-read, and re-read, in hopes of getting correctable data the next time. This should NOT be an issue in writing. But if the drive stops responding (which can and does happen with a bad drive) the Erase function will just sit there, thinking it is making progress, and stretching out the time.
    Thanks, Grant.
If I read your reply correctly, Erase and Zero Out free space shouldn't elongate the process, because there's no read occurring.
The drive will not be Mounted while Disk Utility works on it, so it will not be on the Desktop. But ask Apple System Profiler \[ About this Mac > More Info > Serial ATA ] if the drive is still THERE . If it cannot be seen, you have your answer -- the drive dropped out of sight while being tested -- Bad Drive.
Well, now I am confused. It's a FW800 drive. It's on the Desktop. And it appears under FireWire in System Profiler. AND Disk Utility shows a mount point. But the Unmount and Eject buttons are grayed out.
Will the drive be mounted if it fails to respond to Disk Utility? That doesn't seem to make sense.
How do I determine its status? It appears to be stuck at "1 day, 5 hours" but it'll take an hour for that to change. I think it's been that long since I first noticed the time.

How do i share my pictures, music and videos from one user to another on the same computer?

lots of ways... you could use a thumb drive, you could drag files to the users public folder drop box, you could send it through email, you could use the internet servic called drop box (not to be confused with Apple's user public foldelr drop box).

  • How does YouTube smooth out movie footage?

I've produced a number of movies shot with camcorders and other cameras and the result at times has been shaky footage which does spoil them especially when viewed on a large screen TV.
The same movies sent to YouTube after they've enhanced the footage by steadying it are vastly improved and I've always wondered what technology they use to achieve this.
iMovie's offering doesn't seem to be as effective.
Does anyone have any suggestions how their technology works or can tell me if there's apps about that can remove judder effectively?
    Many thanks,

That guy is, for my stadards, a bit ... over-excited .. but explains it very well, for ordinary people like me:
    https://youtu.be/BgAdeuxkUyY
YouTube itself published - while ago - a video, very impressive, which demoes those 'virtual camera'-thingie that Tom mentions in his report ... can not find it anymore (frankly: my bookmarks are a mess!!), it was a walk thru some garden/restaurant, stairs up, stairs down, handheld, and after stabilzatiion smooth like silk.
Asks for incredible computation power... but, if Youtube has anything, than it's that! ...
btw: I know people, uploading their shaky stuff to YT, let it stabilize, and download it again for further editing .... .
Pros do recommend a plug-in (for FCPX), named Lock&Load ... I'm relying on my cams stabilizer, which does some marvel.
    And my rock-solid tripod!

  • How Does One Share Calendar(s)?

My wife and I each have iPads.  Mine is iPad 1, and hers is iPad 2.  Both use the current iOS 5.1.1.  We each have our own iCloud account and we currently share several calendars, but each have two that are not.  How do we share them all with each other?
I can't find anything in the iPad Guide that helps, and trying to email Apple is ridiculous as every site points you back to the home page.  It is quite frustrating regarding what should be a simple question.
Can anyone help me with a quick "how to share a calendar with another device or account"?  Thanks in advance

  • YouTube does not recognize my ownership of uploaded videos

I have been uploading videos extracted from symphonic wind ensemble concert videos to the YouTube Channel "concord.band.ma" for a few years. Now I can still upload them, but YouTube will not let me delete them or edit their meta-text. I think that I caused the problem by changing a password, but I cannot extract from Premiere Elements 10 the YouTube password that it is successfully using to upload my videos. If it asked me for a password, I could say that I don't remember, and it would go through a security procedure that would eventually get me back in control of my YouTube Channel (which has 130 videos in it). PLEASE HELP.
    Dan Diamond

    Dan Diamond,
I think what you wrote tells it all in the way to go
Now I can still upload them, but YouTube will not let me delete them or edit their meta-text
This is a YouTube and YouTube user issue, not an Adobe Premiere Elements one.
You need to contact YouTube since it is now in possession of your videos under the YouTube Agreement.
    http://www.youtube.com/t/contact_us
That is my take on what you wrote.
And, at the end of your thread introduction, you seem to suggest a logical answer to your own question. I see no way to get from Premiere Elements (any version) a password that you offered for the Online/YouTube upload from the program.

  • Interactive Report - How does it build the where claue when filtering data?

I am curious how APEX builds the where clause when users add filters or does APEX simply filter the data?
The reason I am asking, is for performance reasons, we have used inner selects to retrieve columns vs. using outer joins. However, I am just curious if we will suffer doing so when users add filters on these columns.
Below are some details about our report:
We have a report where we are joining many tables (25 tables) together. Initially, we created the report with outer joins and noticed that the cost of the explain plan was 2600 and the performance was marginal. We then started to remove the outer joins and replacing with inner selects and the cost and performance of the report improved. Currently, we have replaced 13 of the outer joins with inner selects and the cost is down to 650 and the performance is better.
    Below are examples:
    -- Using Outer Joins
    Select q.quote_id, q.quote_name, l.location_name, sr.sales_rep_name
    from quote q, location l, sales_rep sr
    where q.location_id = l.loation_id
    and q.sales_rep_id = sr.sales_rep_id
    -- Using Inner Selects
    Select q.quote_id, q.quote_name,
    (select location_name from location where location_id = q.location_id) location_name,
    (select sales_rep_name from sales_rep where sales_rep_id = q.sales_rep_id) sales_rep_name
    from quote q
    Just curious,
    Thanks,

    Hi -
If you switch on debug in Apex developer toolbar you can see the effect of user built filters on the sql that is actually executed for report.
    Good luck.

  • How does Belle FP2 decide which keyboard is presen...

    Hi,
I'm a long-time user of Profimail on Symbian devices. Now that I've gotten used to the new keyboard on Belle FP2 I'm finding it frustrating to use the pre-FP2 keyboard that Profimail presents.
I asked the developers if they could update Profimail to use the FP2 keyboard and this was their response:
ProfiMail doesn't make any keyboard selection. System decides what kind of text input it offers.
Hard to tell what kind of compatibility mode is used in this case.
If this is true then what is it that some apps do to ensure the system selectes the FP2 keyboard?  I'd like to pass on the answer to the developers.
    Many thanks,
    Matt

I guess I could create aliases in the physical layer on Customer and Customer contacts and then separate logical tables in the BMM where the LTS points to these new aliases. This would make the new star schema isolated from other star schemas.
However, it would have been great if I could have been able to reuse the existing dimensions in the BMM. Any suggestions on how we could reuse the existing dimensions and still have the BI Server join the existing dimensions through the new fact ? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • How does YouTube search function work

    Hey all,
Does anyone know how the search function works on AppleTV for YouTube? I know that not everything is on there yet...I know that...but things I have just watched...don't show up in the search?
So it doesn't seem to be searching the video title...maybe it's searching tags only?
Maybe certain video's haven't been indexed in the search yet but are already converted?
Just kind of curious how this thing is searching.
    Thanks,
    tom

I'm not sure anyone has actually worked out the search function works yet.

  • How does the query decide which Infoprovider to fetch data from

    Hi,
Could somebody please explain what steps go on in background to enable the query to decide which Infoproviders it should fetch data from in a multiprovider.Assuming that in the multprovider we have some  infocubes that  are logically partitioned by Fiscal Year  and other cubes that are not.
    Thanks VK..

Does the RRKMULTIPROVHINT technique work in case of a multiprovider that is not homogenous... Also in case there are 5 infocubes, does the select query run on fact table of all infocubes or are select queries run initially on the dimension tables and based upon which infocube has the required data for the query the fact table is queried..
    Thanks

  • Power Search - how does it work and where does it get the data from?

    Hiya,
Power search in NWBC is great, when it works.
Recently I've been gettign increasingly erratic results - sometimes desktop items are found, sometimes they're not.
Sometime my emails are searched, sometimes they're not...
And so I'm wondering where I can find information on how it works, how it's configured etc.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Sorry to rain on your parade, but its not going to be quite that simple.
Populating a second dropdown depending on the first one, has been discussed quite in depth on this forum, I suggest you do a search to look at older posts.
Javascript code cannot call java/database code from an onclick event.
The best it can do is trigger a form submission, which reloads the page
running any java/sql code that displaying the page entails.
So onlick event on the first dropdown triggers a form submit, which loads the page with the correct values in the second dropdown.
    con: requires a page request
The other approach is to download ALL possible values to the jsp page, and have javascript handle the swapping of values.
    pro: no page refresh needed
con: must have all data available on the page. javascript is a bit more complicated.
    Hope this helps,
    evnafets
