How Elimination and Proportion member gets populated?

Hello Experts,
I have a doubt regarding [Elimination] and [Proportion] member of value dimension. I know these members are automatically populated, but from where exactly these members pick up the value?
When we enter IC data then [Elimination] value gets populated after consolidation?
When we enter ownership data then [proportion] value gets populated after consolidation?

The metadata settings of IsICP and Plug Account in the Account Dimension drive the eliminations process. If these are set on a particular account then the system automatically knows it needs to generate an elimination amount in the value dimension member called <elimination>. Elimination values can be found in the <elimination> value member of the base entity and in the first common parent. The IC accounts will be forced to a zero value at the total consolidation point (topside) and the plug account should show any out of balances or net differences. You should be able to run an IC matching report that ties to the net differences amount. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you need more help. :)

How the segment E1EDP19 is getting populated in an IDOC

Hi All,
We have an outbound IDOC with IDOC type INVOIC01 and message type as INVOIC.
In this IDOC there is one segment called E1EDP19 ( with two fields QUALF and IDTNR ) which is populated with some value .
I need to find from which table this value is coming from?
Can you please guide through?

It is not restricted to a single table as far as I know. But, by seeing the dataelement's description for the field QUALF, it is given as IDOC object identification such as material no.,customer.
So..It can be from MARA,KNA1,MARC,MAKT........
Similary the same rules applies for IDTNR.

How populate and execute methods gets called in UserDefined Action Classes?

In Struts2, if we override methods populate() and execute() , then if we made any request to some Action class which overrides these methods, then how does it look for these 2 methods??
and why populate() method called first and later execute() method????

How does VBDKR-ZTERM_TX1 VBDKR-ZTERM_TX2 and VBDKR-ZTERM_TX3 get populated? Currently I see that in the INVOIC IDOC the payment term is populated from VBDKR-ZTERM_TX1 which is not based on payment terms. , I am getting the value 'Payable immediately without deduction'. I was wondering how did this value get populated which is different from the text maintained for paylemt term in table T052 table.
IDOC segment : E1EDK18-ZTERM_TXT
I see that the payment terms in the master table are carried onto Sales order and then to billing document which match the T052 value of the payment term but the IDOC is pulling some other value from some where.

Hi All,
All the information provided helped me in determining the logic from where this additional text is extracted.
Actually the new text is a more descriptive text of the same payment terms we see on the SD documents with additional information like percentage, base line date to give more information to the end customer as the info on the payment term in SD document is very brief.
SD_PRINT_TERMS_OF_PAYMENT Function module has the text embedded within the text elements and is pulling this text based on some additional logic inside the FM program.

Hi,
RSPCLOGCHAIN gets populated when a process chain gets executed. There is one more table RSPCPROCESSLOG, this table is useful when you want to see the status of individual process in the process chain.
You can create a join on these two tables on LOGID to get the overall status of the process chain.
The technical content cube 0TCT_MC21 (0TCT_C21 and 0TCT_VC21) on Process Statistics is built on the datasource 0TCT_DS21. This extractor is built on these two tables. The cube comes as part of BI Admin Cockpit. When CDB gets populated? what is load parameters and syn parameter?

myself have a query with regards to consolidated database where would to like to know when does the CDB gets populated. when we deploy the MBO does the mbo bring the data from backend sys or when we call it from UI client.
what is load parameters and syn parameter got confused. please explain in very normal term.

myself understood the concepts of load and sync parameters thanks for your inputs....
we are doing a scenario with backend as SAP and front end ui with ios. we have done all the things in place and when executing from ui front end only the last record is displayed. for example if it is returning 6 records then it displays only the last record.
check in CDB and foun only the last record is ther in it but when doing the PREVIEW of MBO to test it their it displays all the record but from UI it is displaying only 6th record
this where my query is that hw and when CDB gets populated and where i have to look in to rectify it....

Subinventory LOV not getting populated in Mobile Field Service Pocket PC

After installing Mobile Field Service Pocket PC on a Windows Emulator, and connecting to Oracle Database Lite webtogo, while trying to create a parts requirement the subinventory LOV is empty. The other fields like item and address are getting populated.Because the Subinventory cannot be selected , the order cannot be created.

I cannot find this 300GB "Backup" in the Finder, only in the Storage info when I check "About This Mac".
You are probably using Time Machine to backup your MacBook Pro, right? Then the additional 300 GB could be local Time Machine snapshots. Time Machine will write the hourly backups to the free space on your hard disk, if the backup drive is temporarily not connected. You do not see these local backups in the Finder, and MacOS will delete them, when you make a regular backup to Time Machine, or when you need the space for other data.

The local TimeMachine snapshot probably now contains a backup of the moved library. Try, if connecting your Time Machine drive will reduce the size of your local Time Machine snapshots.

Problems with iPhone messaging - received messages showing as sent messages and messages sent to one family member gets received by other family members.

AT&T family plan - 4 iPhones in use by family members (4s, 4g, and two 3g's). Weird things happen when we text message:
1. Sometimes, received messages look like they are sent messages - and no alert is sounded. The conversation looks like you are talking to yourself. Sometimes it happens to both parties in a text conversation, sometimes it only happens to one party. Deleting the message entirely and starting over from scratch sometimes fixes the problems and sometimes doesn't fix the problem. Once this phenomenon starts in a conversation it is almost impossible to get it to stop.
2. Sometimes text messages to a specific family member get replicated to other family members as if in a group conversation - but group is turned off. This happens sporadically but it happens. Quite embarassing when husband and wife are sending private messages then suddenly the kids see the message on their iPhones! Can't figure out why this happens or what makes it happen, but happens a lot!!!
Has anyone had these problems or knows how to fix them?

You have configured multiple devices to use the same AppleID for iMessage.
Don't do that. iMessage is designed to sync messages between all devices configured with the same Apple ID.
Everyone should have their own Apple ID. They were never designed to be shared.

How to export data from Elimination Value dimension member by HAL HFM adapter?

Good day! Is it possible to export HFM 4.0.5 data with HAL from the <Elimination> Value dimension member? In 3.* versions it wasn't and there is Known Issue in the "HFM 3.* Adapter Read Me" file: "The Hyperion Financial Management Adapter exports data using the <entity currency> Value dimension member. The documentation erroneously states that there is a port available for the Value dimension" But there is not such point in the same file for HFM 4.0.5 AND there is Value port in the HFM 4.0.5. We need to change the value of CANCEL_COPY_TYPE variable there. Please help.
- FInd out the way to maintain this table from Billing Engine Frame(BEFN) Meta Data Entry.

(1) You say you did the symbolic link. I will assume this is set correctly; it's very important that it is.
(2) I don't know what you mean by "Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now, 700 emails each day at least." After the initial training period, SpamAssassin doesn't learn from mail it has already processed correctly. At this point, you only need to teach SpamAssassin when it is wrong. [email protected] should only be getting spam that is being passed as clean. Likewise, [email protected] should only be getting legitimate mail that is being flagged as junk. You are redirecting mail to both [email protected] and [email protected] ... right? SpamAssassin needs both.
(3) Next, as I said before, you need to implement those "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server." Once you have that done and issue "postfix reload" you can look at your SMTP log in Server Admin and watch as Postfix blocks one piece of junk mail after another. It's kind of cool.
(4) Add some SARE rules:

How does the field ABGRU-Reason for Rejection get populated in routines

How does the field ABGRU-Reason for Rejection get populated in routines(VOFM)?
BELNR,KPOSN,etc...fields are populated through KOMK and KOMP structures, similar way what structure is used for ABGRU?
by the time the control from VA01 comes to routine the values of VBAK and VBAP are cleared, so these structures like KOMP and KOMK are used.

You need to add rejection reason field ABGRU as a new field to pricing field catalog (KOMG structure) through APPEND structure KOMPAZ. KOMG inherits new fields from KOMKAZ (for header level fields) or KOMPAZ (for item level fields) structures and it is not directly modified but through KOMKAZ and KOMPAZ structures
Since VBAP-ABGRU can vary from item to item, add it to item pricing communication structure KOMPAZ in SE11. Once KOMPAZ is added with new ABGRU field and activated it will automatically appear in pricing field catalog (KOMG)
Afterwards the ABGRU field will then start to appear in the field catalog where you can create condition table (V/03) including the ABGRU as a field. Once done the rest is assigning the condition table to access sequence which is in turn assigned to the relevant condition type that you want to price based on partner function (all under IMG -> SD -> Basic functions -> Pricing -> Pricing control)
In the pricing user exit userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomp in include MV45AFZZ, you will need a few lines of coding to fetch VBAP-ABGRU for the item and pass it to tkomp-abrug field. This will then be used by system to read the new condition table that you created.
tkomp-abgru= xvbap-abgru
So if you populate special pricing based on ABGRU (with possibly other conditions) in the condition table then that condition record will be read for the corresponding condition type.
You would of course need a developer to modify KOMPAZ structure and code the user exit for moving the rejection reason to tkomp
That is in short how you can achieve this
