  • How far back do you need to keep your auto save

Is it important to keep auto saves from days ago?

Depends if you keep manual backups and if you have done additional work over those days.
FWIW - I have auto save off and just do manual backup saves.

  • How Far Back Oracle Keep AWR Reports

    Hello,
    A quick question:
Does anyone know how far back Oracle retain AWR reports in the database? Is this something that we can customize? If it is, can someone offer some insights?
    Thanks!

The default settings for 'interval' and 'retention' are (60 min and 7 days respectively),
    Sample modification using,
    execute dbms_workload_repository.modify_snapshot_settings(interval => 120,retention => 20160);
the parameter value is in minutes.

  • How far back does spotlight go to search sms.

Does anyone know how far back spotlight will search for sms? Does it find sms from 6 or 7 months ago or does it only show more recent and if so any idea how recent. Does this differ in older phones or older IOS's.

Seems so, per my post at http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2044448&tstart=0. Can't believe such a f*up.

  • How far back does Time Machine back up?

How far back does Time Machine back up? Thanks.

Thanks Kappy and Tech Guy. I'll try and digest that info--it may take awhile!
Just for info, I am using a Lacie d2 500 GB, presently it has used 263 of the 500.
It is presently backed up until January 2010 which must be the date I hooked into Time Machine. I have a 1TB iOmega which I am thinking of using for the back up drive but feel the Lacie may be the better of the two so may leave it on.
    Thanks again. Cheers.

  • How far back do old phone bills go?

I know that you can view your bill online for up to 18 months and that you can order copies older than that for $5 a month.  But how far back do they go?  And do they show the same information that current or more recent bills do?  I'm specifically looking for text usage details.

Hello nealn09, you pose an excellent question! The bill reprints for $5 can go as far back as 7 years. The details that show on the bill are the same summary on a regular most recent bill. The messaging details on the bill reprint will only show the summary for how many sent & received. To request full verbatim from messaging, they would have to be requested from an attorney through court order.

  • How far back is the MBP screen supposed to tilt back?

I just took my new MBP to the genius bar and they had to open it up. But now it feels like the screen tilts too far back. I don't remember how far it use to go before I took it and I would hate to take it again for nothing so I wanted to know if this is normal. It's about a 160 degree angle.

Thanks! That's just as far as I thought it used to go before, now it's a 160'. I'm going to take it to the genius bar today. Just have to figure out how to back it up.

  • How far back is the screen supposed to push back?

I feel like it never used to be this far back at this angle. Is anyone else having this problem or is it supposed to go back this far? it's like at an 160 degree angle.. as far back as I can push it.

Hi Insomnia: It's kind of difficult to see exactly from the picture, but I would say it is going back further than my MacBook Pro. Looks pretty much the same as all MacBooks or Pros I've seen.

  • How to restrict vendor line items to be picked to 6 in f110 payment run?

    Hai
how we can allow F110 programme to generate a clearing document for every 6 line items.Means if a vendor has 15 open items which are due for payment at the time of Automatic Payment Run . The System should generate 3 clearing documents. Means the split up should be 663. Means for the first 6 open items (1-6) one clearing document. For next 6 Open items (7-12) and for the last 3 Open Items(13-15) , One clearing Document to be generated.
Kindly Advice me. Surely Iam going to reward the ponits.
Thanks In Advance, Have A Great Day
    Akash Narayana

    1)block all doc's where count > 6 (per vendor) and do f110
    2)unlock and repeat 1)
.. until all doc's are paid

  • The back/forward buttons on the tool bar only go one page at a time. I used to be able to click a drop-down and select how far back/forward I wanted to go. How can I get that back

I can only navigate back/forward one page at a time. The drop down box that used to allow me to see the recent pages and select the page I wanted to go to was immediately to the right of the "forward" button. I can right click over the forward/back buttons and get the dropdown list of recent sites.

Use right-click on the back/forward buttons to bring up the context menu, the drop down was never needed, and I had suppressed it for a long time to save space.
that is item #5 in the following, you might want to check out other items there.
You can make '''Firefox 6.0.1''' look like Firefox 3.6.*, see numbered '''items 1-10''' in the following topic [http://dmcritchie.mvps.org/firefox/firefox-problems.htm#fx4interface Fix Firefox 4.0 toolbar user interface, problems (Make Firefox 4.0 thru 8.0, look like 3.6)]. There is a lot more beyond those first 10 steps listed, if you want to make Firefox more functional.

  • How far back does apple keep icloud backups - need a month old backup

  • How far back will time machine save?

i hear that it keeps growing farther and farther back. doesnt it start deleting the backups at some point? is there a way to select how much history it will save like a web browser?

Has anyone out there had a disk fill up then give a TM error. I have a 500GB external FW. It managed to go about a month then started giving me an error saying the disk was full. The only way I could stop the roor was to manually delete the earliest back-ups. I asked at an Apple store and they said that other than adding another disk that was the way to do it.
Seems to me that TM should have an option to save a certain number of back-ups then delete the older one's automatically.
    Am I missing something?
