How fast can mrp catch up ?

11.2.0.2 on Solaris 10
Lets say something went wrong at the standby side and there is a gap of 1 GB worth of redo. After fixing the issue , can mrp quickly catch up and apply 1 GB or should we take an RMAN incremental backup of the primary and rollforward the standby?
What is the limit ; ie. say if it is above 1 GB , one should go for RMAN incremental rollforward and if the gap is below certain GB/MB let mrp apply it and synch Primary and Secondary

Hello;
Will depend upon the network. I once got 250 logs ( 100MB each) behind and it took 15 minutes, but I have a fast network. So MRP can apply very fast.
I would try the catch up since it has no risk and the RMAN solution while very good has more.

How fast can solve this issue in UK service center?

Will they be able to change my phone in these 2 days?

no one can say for sure, it depends on how busy they are, you should try to make an appt. in the meantime, have you tried the help from the following apple documents:

    if readycomm installed, remove it.
check your firewall is active and using high performance.
by the way, which model of broadcom are you using?

  • How fast can it be ?

the 875 neo  can support how fast memory module ?
    DDR 500 can ?
now using the DDR 400 default fsb is 200
if i use the DDR 500 then is the FSB is 225 directly ??

No , if you put a DDR-500 module in the board the FSB does not change..You have to understand that every memory module out there that is advertized with a speed of 433, 466, 500, or 533 is still a true DDR-400 module!!..It is just that these 400 speed module are "speed binned" to see which mods can be pushed to higher, and maintain stability at +400 speeds..Most people don't know that "JDEC" has yet to come out with a memory specifacation that is greater then PC-3200 or DDR-400 ..All these other modules out there with speed higher then 400 MHZ, Are indeed DDR-400 modules that are running out of spec.!!! .....So the answer to your question is it does'nt matter what speed the memory can run at max. Because the FSB clock or  whatever you set it at is is what the mem is going to run at, not the the other way around...(meaning that the mem module is not going to tell the CPU what speed to run at).....Sean REILLY875

  • How fast can the MOO occur (hoping I can open up new MB in the store)

If the Apple store understands that I will not keep a MOOing MB, how likely is the MB to make it's noises right out of the box at start up so I can open the box in the store after paying for it and see if it's a keeper or a clunker?
    iMac Intel 17"   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

The mooing will start immediately if you can ramp up the temperature and HOLD it at the right temperature. For me it happens exactly at CPU temperatures between 66C~69C only, but as far as I know different Macbooks moo at different temperatures. (below 66C, fan is off. above 69C, fan is constantly on. - In between, the fan turns on and off intermittently)
You can monitor the temperature via CoreDuoTemp, and you can use an App called SystemLoad to load the CPU and raise the temperature.
    Search for downloads in google.
Not sure if you can download these and run them inside a Apple store in front of an Apple employee..?
FYI, the employees at the apple store I went to were quite rude and very misinformed. I hope you have better luck!
You can check my disassembled Macbook mooing video if you'd like. search for mooing video in this forum

  • How fast can I read DI port in PCI 6071E?

I have a while loop with no delay running full speed reading a TTL compatible square wave fed into Channel 0 of my DIO port. I then watch for any transition from hi to low, count these transitions and divide by 2 to get the count. This works very well when I apply a signal that is < than 200 pulses per second. Anything above this and I start getting errors with the count, ei. count is less that actual period. Did I reach the limit of the card or the computer system? I would like to be able to read a period of 400/sec. Any ideas?

Your problem is that you are using software timing. Your loop runs only at the whim of the OS. There are lots of other things that can get in the way. Remember the engineer's motto about the right tool and the right job!
You should discuss your I/O requirements with either your NI sales rep or an Alliance Member like us before choosing your hardware. We can work with you to make sure that you do not end up with a non-workable solution.
You might be able to squeeze more than 400 acquisitions per second out of your system, but you will need LabVIEW 7.0 with DAQmx to do it. Also, the minute you want to do anything else with the PC while you're looking for pulses, you could miss pulses. Todd gave you the best answer. You need more counter-timers? Buy
a 6601 and get four of them. That will give you up to 20,000,000 pulses per second of counting ability all hardware timed.

  • How fast is Macbook Air 11 inch wifi?

    Hi
    I have a Macbook air 11 inch 2015 and Asus ac87u router.
I alway getting 867mbps when i connected to the router, I thought AC could go up to 1gbps+.
How fast can the macbook air go?
    Thanks

1Gbps is a theoretical speed - you aren’t going to get that speed and what you are getting is among the fastest I’ve seen. There are several things that bring you below the theoretical speed which includes inference, congestion, how far you are from the router, the number of connections to the router, and network ‘housekeeping’.

  • How fast DSC loggs data

    Hi,
I have an application that detects frequency and THD% and then Log this data to data base.
I'm thinking of using DSC for this application and I wonder how fast can it be.
will I lose data when using DSC for this application.

The DSC engine can't save data with microsecond timing resolution for an analog signal. But you can take your signal and flatten it to a binary string. Then write the resultant string value to a string tag configured as a BLOB. Here is a 7.0 example for creating the binary string from array data. You can flatten clusters of data and then use the historical DSC vi's to get the logged data.

  • How fast is too fast?

How fast can the fan run? i'm getting speeds over 6200rpm when i do memory consuming things... Should I be concerned? It gets louder the faster it is obviously...

I had iMac and it was fantastic, but after one month the fan start to be crazy and noisy. So,I went to service and after they check everything, sad it's no problems.
But it was the same. i decided to sale it,because I didn't want to run back and forth with this big thing. So,I've got MacBook and in the beginning I was quite paranoid about fan,but gradually I've convinced myself, that everything alright.

  • How can i catch the jsp checking event ?

As we know, there are three parameters which is about checking in the weblogic.xml, pageCheckSeconds,*servlet-reload-check-secs*,*resource-reload-check-secs*, but how can i catch the checking event when the webapp is active.
The fellowing is my simple test, i deployed a webapp on a weblogic server instance, and it was actived. I wrote a simple bash shell to try to catch the event, but fail. i througnt it may be dependent on the webapp's stage mode. but i change the mode, and try again, it was fail too.
