How get rid of Version Cue

Adobe Version Cue CS2 is showing up in my son's Activity Monitor, but not in mine.
Is this something that was optional when installing CS2?
What does it do? Does he need it? How to remove it?

I have Version Cue on my mac too. It is unwanted.
I do not have Creative suite 2
I have:
PS CS3
Bridge CS3
Illustrator CS2
Lightroom 2
I do not know where Version Cue came from.
Version Cue does not seem to be in applications. I have done a search and can not find it.

I have FF on both desktop/laptop with XP. Yesterday, both auto-updated to 23.0 which added a permanent, unmovable tab above my toolbar. I never use tabs, and all this does is push my site view down and make it smaller by 1/2". How do I get rid of this unwanted tab? Thanx.

How get rid of unknown identities when trying to update apps from iphone4?

I can syn and update apps when I sync with my pc. But when I click update or update all on my phone, I get first one and then a second itunes account name which are not mine. My own does not appear. It will appear if I am trying to download a new app.

How get rid of Original Loaded message

Hi,
Can anyone help me solve the following issue with my HP Photosmart C6180 All in One;
Some how I have managed to get a message on the printer screen saying "Original Loaded"
I have turned off the printer, entered the copy menu but can't find anyway of deleting it. Since it appeared I am unable to use the copier, it makes a noise and produces a blank page.

If you have an iPhone and have it set to keep the normal photo when shooting HDR photos the two image files that are created will be duplicates in a manner of speaking (same image) but the only diplicate finder app that detected the iPhone HDR and normal photos as being duplicates was PhotoSweeper. None of the other apps detected those two files as being duplicates as they look for file name as well as other attributes and the two files from the iPhone have diffferent file names.
iPLM, however, is the best all around iPhoto utility as it can do so much more than just find duplicates. IMO it's a must have tool if using iPhoto.

[SOLVED] How get an older version of avr-gcc?

I have a problem with my Arduino Mega 1280 board. Programs running on the board can't send or receive signals through the USB cable, which is a bit irritating. I have read that it's because of a bug in the compiler avr-gcc, version 4.4 - 4.6.0, and I have version 4.6.0 of avr-gcc. Apparently should version 4.3.x of avr-gcc work fine, so I need help with downloading it.
What I have found and downloaded is gcc43 from the AUR. But I'm not completely sure if it's the right package that I need, since it only added files like gcc-4.3 and g++-4.3 to my /usr/bin/ folder, and not an additional avr-gcc file.
So, anyone here who can help me find version 4.3 of avr-gcc?

I have a problem with my comp"hanging". I noticed I have both adobe shockwave flash versions 12 and 13 installed. I want to get rid of version 12, but am unable

to do so.
I tried putting an X in front of the version 12 file name per help files, but that doesn't work, Firefox still says I have both version 12 and 13 installed.

That's probably what's causing the hangs. You can remove Flash 12 by going to the Addons window and click Remove next to version 12.
*Click the orange Firefox button and click Add-ons > Plugins. Remove it from that window

How get rid of Preview's "softening"

First second an image is opened in Preview, it's fine.
Then this automatic anti-aliasing or whatever it is kicks in.
Are there any ways to stop that from happening?

Earlier versions of Preview supported that feature, then it went away for a couple of update cycles, now it's back.
When it went awy, I spent time looking for a way to turn it back on. Info from these forums indicated the feature had been removed.
I find it to be beneficial once you start zooming in on an image.
That the feature has returned may be the result of user feedback to Apple, but thats just a semi-educated guess

How get rid of "bulk" on regular incoming messages

Just reinstalled TB 24.3.0 after HD crash and new Win XP OS installed. I get frequent e-mails from one friend which are all coming in marked [Bulk]. This did not happen before with my former TB install, nor is it happening with anyone else's e-mails. What do I need to adjust to remove the bulk designation from this one person's e-mails? Thx.

Bob, I still think it is yahoo marking the mail as spam, But if you want to take it all the way. I am going to shake you out of your comfort zone probably, but life is like that sometimes.
Add the troublesome account to Thunderbird again, this time as an IMAP account (you can delete it later) use the server name imap.mail.yahoo.com when adding your account (your user name is I think the full ATT email address. with your att password.
Go to Tools menu (Alt+T) > account settings > server settings and change the retention to leave on server, if you have not already (makes a good backup really).
Now when your friend mails you the mail will appear in both accounts what is of interest is what folder it appears in in the yahoo account
