How have people been doing with the new update?

It says that the update "...improves overall stability and performance...". Just curious, as I have been privy to emails everytime someone responded to the "Is anyone's FCP X not crashing on a consistant basis" thread, and have noticed that a lot of people have had many stability problems. How is everyone doing with the new update? Does it seem to help?

Just gets better and better .... FCP x didn't like the "Tutorial Event" being open as per the dialogue in my previous post so I moved it out of the events folder and then restarted FCP x ....
This is what I get now .... GUFFAW!!!!
All I did was restart FCP x ..... ???? GUFFAW!!! In version 73.66 they will then display the "Invalid argument" so I know what the he ll they are talking about. Did all the programmers go on vacation when Jobs resigned?

Have hardware problems associated with the new 27 inch iMac been addressed?

I realize that this question may have been answered on another iMac post, but my wife and I thought we would quickly post the following question just in case there are some similarly quick answers:
We are thinking about acquiring one of the new 27 inch i7 iMacs. However, several initial problems have been reported with the new 27 inch iMac, e.g. screen problems, startup problems, etc.
According to Macworld (about 2-3 months ago), Apple finally acknowledged these hardware problems.
How do we know that acquiring one of the new 27 inch iMacs is a safe bet now…? Meaning, have these problems been addressed…? Has there been another announcement from Apple saying that these manufacturing processes/problems have been satisfactorily addressed…?

On Pages 09 I have a document that draws variable data from a spreadsheet created in Numbers.
With the new Pages and Numbers program update, my links are lost and I am unable to see how to correct this.

My Pages 09 keeps opening in the new one.
I dont think they want me to be a loyal customer anymore.
They changed Final Cut Pro, so now I use Premier Pro
Aperture 3 has been left behind so now I moved to Lightroom 4.
And now Pages 5 does not have a vital component, so back to Word.

With the new updates for iTunes, I can no longer print a CD case playlist when I burn a CD. It prints in a jumbled mess. I have reinstalled, updated, run diagnostics on my NEW printer, I am out of ideas!

It appears to be a bug with the current build. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release.

Just use Pages '09, which should be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Rate/review Pages 5 in the App Store.

Pages 5 now uses the system-level auto-correction in System Preferences > Keyboard > Text. Unfortunately, a lot of the options available in previous versions of Pages no longer exist.
Leave feedback for the Pages team using the link in the Pages menu. Also leave feedback for Mavericks.

Try a Reset holding the Sleep button and the Home button together until Apple logo shows up and then wait for the Reset to return you to the lock-screen. If you still don't have service check Settings>General>About and then scroll down to Carrier and see if your Service Provider is listed.

It should be like the very first time you synced your phone with I-Tunes. It will notice you haven't synced before and just copy everything from your phone into I-Tunes. It shouldn't delete anything from the phone, at least it never has for me. It just puts a copy of everything into I-Tunes and even if you delete an app for example from your phone and you decide you want it back later, you can just go back into I-Tunes and copy it back over. Hope this helps.

    Let's bring back your file control, jpandwibble. What happens when you connect to your computer? Are you trying to use Explorer on the device or on computer? I am eager to continue troubleshooting!
