How hot can an ipad get?

How hot can an iPad Air get? I left it in my car.

Operating ambient temperature: 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C)
Nonoperating temperature: -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C)
Relative humidity: 5% to 95% noncondensing
Operating altitude: tested up to 10,000 feet (3000 m)
Basically, just let it cool to room temp for an hour or so and you should be fine. (that's if it got really, really hot)

  • HT4061 I opened a link from a spam e.mail. will it effect my iPad? can my iPad get viruses

I opened a link from an e.mail that turned out to be a spam, will it effect my iPad, can my iPad get a virus?

Yes. As long as you practice safe internetting. If you click on a phishing mail and enter your info into a bad site, your info is just as compromised as if you entered it on a computer. You can still be phished on an ipad. It will give you protection from viruses (they literally can't run) but your data is only as safe as your actions.

how I can change ipad mini mobile number I initially requested and to place the wrong number

If you're refering to your uphone number thats set up to be used with imessage on your ipad, then that is associated with your apple id and has to be changed there first.
    My Apple ID
    https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
Then on your ipad, sign out of messages. Go to settings/messages/tap on send and receive/tap on apple id/sign out
Then sign out of messages on phone and then back in.
Then sign into messages on ipad again, number should appear

  • Can the iPad get a virus using a public WiFi?

If I went to a public WiFi spot (airport, hotels, McDonalds, etc.) can my iPad get hit with a virus being that it's not protected with an antivirus?

No, it cannot. The iPad is a closed system and you cannot download the types of things that would normally infect a windows computer.

  • How warm can my macbook get while still being safe?

I have a macbook pro 13" retina display. I recently tried running Diablo III and it runs fine but it gets very warm, you might even say hot. Normally when just browsing or watching videos, movies, writing documents etc you can't hear the fan at all. However, when I open something like a game you can hear it and it gets extremely warm. Even today it got warm when I was just watching videos on YouTube, not sure what the reason was behind that though. So my question is how warm can I allow my macbook to get without damaging it? Thanks in advance!

Your MBP will shut down at about 105°c.  I personally do not recommend running the MBP for prolonged periods of time at high temperatures.  Games, Skype, video and such can drive the temperature to 90°c plus.  This is 'normal for such applications.
You might download Temperature Monitor from the Bresink web site:
    http://www.bresink.com/osx/TemperatureMonitor.html
If you are planning on running CPU/GPU intensive applications, consider a cooling pad or similar device.
    Ciao.

  • How hot does your Helix get under heavy load?

I've had my Helix for a few days now and have finally got around to installing some software on it.  I have the i7 with 256gb SSD and 8GB RAM.. so far I've been very impressed with how 'snappy' it all runs and besides a few annoyances with the touchscreen/pen not working correctly 100% of the time am very happy with the system.
Anyways, I wanted to see how the Helix would run when pushed really hard so I had Solidworks running (3d modeling/CAD software) and Netflix going on on an external monitor.  The back of the Tablet became super hot--hot enough that you would definitely not want to touch it (let alone try to hold it) or have it on your lap.  I installed TP fan control and it read that the CPU got up to 86 degrees Celsius.  Granted this is not representative of normal operating conditions, but I'm concerned about how hot it got.  Has anyone else noticed their Helix's running really hot under heavy load? Is this normal?

I'm in the same boat as you on this. It can get very bad sometimes. Under light use, it never get's as cool as I feel it should. I go through the currently running applications and try to run as minimally as possible, but it still creates a fair amount of heat. My battery life is around 6 hours with both batteries too. I definitely don't get the 8-9 hours it's supposed to be getting.
I think the 10 hrs thing was for the i5 model. It's still five times longer than my X201t with 4cell battery, so I'm happy with this. Shorter battery time is something you have to live with if you are going to use an i7 machine on the go.
I also heard that actually the RTM version of the Helix IS the revised version from the initial batch(or the previewers' batch)... I heard the first machines were truely HOT.
[Added] Also, I think long term heat damage will be of less concern in case of the Helix. The business already has many years of slate tablets with standard CPUs that did have problems with heat(namely, Asus EP121 which had its LCD turn yellow because of heat, and Samsung Slate 7 which had serious throttling issues in its early days). If Lenovo HAS intelligence to learn from the history, which I want to believe they do, they should probably would have dealt with that, considering this machine may actually be a second revision. And even if I don't believe Lenovo, I still trust in Yamato Lab.

  • How i can do to get my password bac up

how i can get my back up password

You can't, if the only place they are is in your backup.  Now, if you were using your phone as recommended, you would be synching your contacts with Address Book, Outlook or with a cloud service like Google, MobileMe or iCloud.
My guess is, you've not been using your phone as recommended.  In this case, you've lost all your contacts.

  • Any ideas on how I can reasonably priced get two decent smartphones with one upgrade?

I have 4 phones, 700 shared minutes and unlimited text.  Already costs 160 bucks.  Would love to make 2 phones data package leave other 2 talk/text; only one upgrade available.  any ideas on how i can make this happen without having to sell my first born?

are you asking about purchasing the 2 smartphones, or about the monthly plans? because both will be fairly expensive. the new share everything plans would cost you $190 (prior to taxes) per month just to share 1 gig between the 2 smartphones....$210 to share 4 gigs (prior to taxes). you may be able to keep your current plan and add 2 data packages at $30 each. that would be $220/month (based on you stating that you currently pay $160). if you only have one upgrade available, then your best bet would be to call and ask verizon about a certified preowned device (usually about half price of the full retail price) or check out ebay. i believe the cheapest smartphones start at $400 (and they are the very low end smartphones). you can find pretty nice ones on ebay for $200-300.

  • Can my iPad get a Trojan JS Hiloti C/F virus?

    HI,
i clicked on a video link on Facebook which took me to an external site. I did this on my IPad and PC.
When I did it on my PC It came up wit screen saying 'your computer has a virus, call this number to remove it'. I didn't call the number, but ran my Avast and Microsoft virus scanner which detected a Trojan virus JS Hiloti C and JS Hiloti F on my PC.
MY question is, given I clicked on the same link on my iPad, could my iPad been infected with the same trojan as my PC, and how would I know?
    thankyou!

IS it the case that an iPad can't get a virus even if it's a JavaScript Trojan virus?
There's no such thing as a "JavaScript trojan virus" - JavaScript is just a kind of script that can run in your web browser and certain other specific situations. It really isn't something that can be used to infect your computer. At most it can be used in the initial phase of trying to trick you into installing something, such as by showing pop-ups or causing downloads to start automatically.
On an iPad, even that isn't an issue.
As for malware on your iPad, as long as you don't jailbreak it or accept installation of an app from a website, you're fine. Stick to App Store apps.
