I am afraid that you are going to have to supply a few more details. What exactly are you having problems with? Do you need help creating the OVS? Or perhaps on how to capture the input from the OVS? Or do you nee dhelp actually generating the report of the sales documents itself?

What is requirement for passing the data in a single line ? Do you finally need to append the same in the internal table and pass it in the module ?
You can create an internal table of type 1000 character and can loop the existing internal table. Then you can append the Work area in a single line and can finally append it to the table.
DATA : ITAB type standard table of char1000.
Loop at <existing table>.
concatenate table work area wa_char100 into Itab_char_1000.
endloop.
APPEND itab_char_1000 into itab.

Just think of dynpros as windows into the global memory of your program... so if you want the value of a field on dynpro 1234 to appear on dynpro 2345, then just pop the value into a global variable (i.e. one defined in your top include), and you will be able to see it in your second dynpro (assuming you make the field formats etc the same on both screens!).

Hi, all-
This isn't an Animate-specific issue, but I thought I'd take a stab at it anyway. As with anything else on the web, you need to have a server script to handle incoming data, so it's all back end work. Your page will need to call that script and provide parameters to that script that it can read.
The easiest way I can think of to do this (and this is all highly theoretical, so please make sure it's secure before you implement it) is to create a 1px div that has visibility off. Whenever you click, you can load your URL in that div, which then increments your counter on your db.

I am following the HowTo guide - Use the BI Java SDK in a Web Dynpro Application

I have configured the connector on the WAS as needed.
The problem is that when I run the application I receive an Unauthorized error on the connector URL.
If I open this URL on a browser I receive a pop-up for UID and PWD and when I enter the same UID and PWD I used to configure the connector I am able to login and see the WSDL.
Any ideas?

I've never tried using BI in WebDynpro !!!

I have one report that lists a set of rows and has a link to

I did what you said but I seem to miss the IDE folder. This is what it looks in my Explorer
C: > Program Files > SAP > IDE > CE > eclipse > (no folder called "examples")
I also did a search in this eclipse folder for "examples" but I did'nt find the example I'm looking for
I am running a newer version of NWDS:
SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio
SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Composition Environment SP03 PAT0000
Maybe that's why things don't look the same?

Custom seach help for standard field in Web dynpro application

Hi All,
I have a requirement in SRM portal where in I have a to add a custom search help to the 'WBS_ELEMENT' field in the the 'ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT' tab of the Shopping cart creation screen with some input parameters on the search help.
As the SRM Shopping cartcreation screen is a standard web dynpro application.
Can anyone help me in this regard for addition of search help for a field with some custom fields in the Search help screen.
Any inputs will be very helpful.

Hi Ahmed,
If it is an standard application then you will have to do ENHANCEMENT in the component. And for using customised value help you will have to declare attribute in CONTEXT and dynamically change the binding of the Value property of UI element inside post-method of WDDOMODIFY. You can create your own customised value help for newly added attribute.

I found new thing about TechKey they are passing the id as TECHKEY based on requirement for example ShopId = WEBSHOP SHOP_TECHKEY = WEBSHOP only.

How to define 'First Vsible row' for Tree table in Web Dynpro

Hi,
I am using a table with a treebykeytablecolumn. The user can change the selected
line from another view and then I change the selected line within the tree according to his choice. This works fine.
Unfortunatelly, I did not succeed to change the displayed page in the tree, so the user has to scroll up or down to see the selected data, if it is not on the current page.
I try to bind the 'FirstVisibleRow', using the index of the selected element, but this
index does not fit. The page changes, but as the index is somehow 'wrong', it is not
the expected page that is shown.
Looping at the node, my selected element get index 30, but the selected line is the 8th one (regarding what is current ly open or not in the tree) and the 14th if we expand all nodes above.
So, is there a way to specify which line to be the 1st visible one when there is a tree column?

Follow these steps,
1- Create an attribute with char1 in the view context e.g first_vis_row
2- go to the table properties in view and bind the property first_visible_row to this attribute.
3- NOw go to the wddoinit method of the view...
4- read the internal table and find out the index of the row which you want to set as first row. As in ur case you want a specific date in first row. So read the internal table and findout the index.
5- now write this code, say your attribute name is first row inside node flag1...(you can change it for yoru requirement)
