please help me in controlling X-Y translational stage.the movement should be scaning ie first to left then uu by one unit then to right then up by one unit then left etc

if you are using an NI motion control device, there is a LabVIEW example shipping with NI-Motion called X-Y Grid Inspection (Template).vi, that does exactly what you are looking for. Please use the example finder to search for this example.

It has something to do with Segoe fonts in your system.

As long as it's been fully downloaded then you shouldn't need to be online in order to watch it.
As to how long you have to watch it, from here :
You have 30 days from the time of rental to watch your movie, and 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) after you've started viewing to finish it. Once the rental period expires, the movie will disappear from your iTunes library.

The PCI/PXI/FW 7344 high precision controller can be used to control both steppers and servo motors. The older PC Step controllers are made for stepper only control. The difference in the two control types is with stepper control, the controller outputs two digital signals that control the step and direction of the motor. The drive uses these digital signals to energize the stepper phases and commutate the motor. In a servo system, the controller outputs a -10 to 10 Volt analog signal that the drive then uses to output the appropriate current to the motor which is proportional to torque.

i'm a newbie in programming in motion control of NI. I just want to ask if how can i control the clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation of a stepper motor using NI PXI 7330 module. all i can do is the counter-clockwise rotation using the example vi (Simple one-axis move.vi) found in the examples of LabView 2009.

I am using two reed switch for the reverse and forward limit. I wired the signal wire of the reed switch to the limit ports(forward and reverse Limit) and its ground to the digital ground of the UMI-7764.

This will depend on what hardware you are using to send the commands to the stepper motor. NI offers motion controllers and drives that come with all the functions you will need to operate the motors. Depending on the size and number of motors, you will have different hardware requirements. Take a look at the motion products available here: http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/nioc.vp?cid=1506〈=US
If you have more questions, you can always contact NI at www.ni.com/contact to help spec out the system.
If you are using third party products, you will have to call their dll from LabVIEW using a Call Library Node function. This gives you access to all the functions in a dll.

I'm wondering how I can use Magic Mouse to highlight, copy and paste documents. I look at directions in manual and preferences, but could not find the answer.

Just like any mouse. Click down at the start of text you want to highlight, drag to the end of the text. To copy, either use cmd-C, or ctrl-click (hold down the ctrl key and click) or right-click, and click Copy in the popup menu. For paste, cmd-V, or use Paste in the right-click menu.
