No, you must install Windows to run Windows software. You do not need to use Boot Camp (yes, it's free because it comes with OS X.)
Windows on Intel Macs
There are presently several alternatives for running Windows on Intel Macs.
Install the Apple Boot Camp software. Purchase Windows XP w/Service Pak2, Vista, or Windows 7. Follow instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and installing Windows. Boot Camp enables you to boot the computer into OS X or Windows.

VirtualBox is a new Open Source freeware virtual machine such as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris. It is not as fully developed for the Mac as Parallels and VM Fusion.
Note that Parallels and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc. There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization. The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system. See MacTech.com's Virtualization Benchmarking for comparisons of Boot Camp, Parallels, and VM Fusion. Boot Camp is only available with Leopard or Snow Leopard. Except for Crossover and a couple of similar alternatives like DarWine you must have a valid installer disc for Windows.
You must also have an internal optical drive for installing Windows. Windows cannot be installed from an external optical drive.

How do I open and use after effects on my desktop?

I have downloaded everything from creative cloud, but now how do I open the free trial and use after effects cc on my desktop? There is no obvious button that says open or icon to choose (that I can see)

I am facing difficulties downloading and installing After Effects

Hey Everybody i need some help if you dont mind umm everytime i try to download Adobe After Effects CS6 it pops up and says this download has issue's then it says you have two choices press Ignore Or Quit i tried the instructions for quit it still dident work so i press ignore it starts downloading in the Adobe download Assistance it get to 100% then it tell me to pick a folder a pick Program Files then i press install it goes to 1% and Says This Download has Failed and has issues.

Please don't pick the Program Files folder to save your downloaded install files too. I would recommend instead choosing the default location of your User folder. Once the software is downloaded you can then go to your User folder and begin the installation process. During the install process the software will be placed in your Program Files folder.
Also to confirm what version of Windows are you using? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

Trial after effects and premier pro?

Hi, I'm trying to download a trial of premier pro and after effects. The pop up for applications manager pops up but there is no option to download either program for trial? Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you

Can't Find the After Effects Download

I just downloaded the Cloud and when I am on my account home screen, I can see the Adobe After Effects icon under Desktop Apps on the right navigation. When I click on the apps to download, it does not appear as an option on that screen. It also doesn't appear in the Adobe Application Manager. Has anyone else had that problem? Do you have to download one of the other apps before you can download After Effects? Hope that makes sense. Thanks!

hmmmm no need for windows device. simply hold down Command and R at start up it will install recovery HD and then u can install OS, for that u need a stable and good speed internet. so fist connect your Mac with internet and then start it by holding cmd and r after that it will do all the work.

Your Apple ID is tied to the US store. Log out of the store, then trying logging back in.
