from my mistake I formated my device (macbook air 2013) when i am trying to install windows by using boot camp
and now i cant boot my device becuse it doesnt have OS
how I can download mavericks OS from windows device and install it in my mac?
hmmmm no need for windows device. simply hold down Command and R at start up it will install recovery HD and then u can install OS, for that u need a stable and good speed internet. so fist connect your Mac with internet and then start it by holding cmd and r after that it will do all the work.

First of all, check that Messages is closed when you turn off your MacBook. This is so important because, by default, OS X will reopen all opened apps the next time you start your Mac.
Apart from that, when you go to > Shut Down, or > Restart, in the window you see to restart or turn off your MacBook, unmark "Reopen windows when logging back in". This will avoid that your Mac opens all opened apps the next time you start the MacBook, so Messages won't start automatically at startup -
Download Mavericks on a Windows PC to Install on Mac later?
Hi Everyone.
So I recently bought a new Imac (the one without the optical drive), but my OS is still Mountain Lion.
I want to upgrade it to Mavericks so that my Mac is up to date, but I have a problem...
Mavericks is over 5GB and I only have a cap of 3GB per month.
I can increase my cap if needed, but I want to find out if I can download Mavericks to a Windows PC (I use a windows PC at work and we have unlimited internet at work), and then install it later on my Imac at home?

In regards to your comment regarding me using my work pc for personal gain. I admire your work ethic, but we have a company policy that states we are allowed to use the internet for personal use, including downloads. It must just not consume our working time, and as I can click to download something and go on with my work, there is nothing wrong with it at my company.
I guess I will increase my personal computer cap to download it directly to my Imac then. -
My iphone storage is full, I deleted all photos but I still see photos occupy 2 GB!! how I can free some storage? Even my emails occupy 3 GB on my Iphone, how I can only delete them from my device?
for the photos: make sure you reboot the device so that the changes are taken into consideration.
For emails: log out of your email account, make sure the emails from that account have been deleted, then log back in, and go to the mall app, but open only the inbox. as long as you don't open your email folders, the phone won't download them. -

You don't "download" anything, and you don't put anything "on Photoshop".
You save your image in your scanning application using whatever file format supported by Photoshop you want (PSD, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, etc.), and save it in whatever folder on your computer you want.
Then you use Photoshop to open your image file wherever you put it. -

i had downloaded Mountain OX and installed it on my macbook air. The notes app is now not working. I get the following message

Are some plugins free availble for mozilla 3.6 that can do that ?The only voice over files I've come across had the audio file separate from the photo. Control-click on the thumbnail of the photo with the audio and select Show File from the Contextual Menu. You'll be taken to that file's folder via the Finder. See if there's an second file associated with the photo or what the extension of the file is.
You may have to open the file with Quicktime Player Pro or iMovie and strip the audio from the file. Let us know what you find.

Install Flash Player in Safe Mode.
Shut down the computer.
Press the power button. Immediately after you hear the startup sound, press and hold the Shift key.
The Shift key should be pressed as soon as possible after startup,but not before the startup sound.
Release the Shift key when you see the Apple logo on the screen. Startup will take longer than usual.
Login to your account. Launch Safari.
Enter this address in the Safari address bar manually.

Follow the prompts. Install it.
Once done, quit Safari and restart the computer from in the menu bar.
Allow Plug-ins
Safari > Preferences > Security
Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"

How do you download a photo from Microsoft Powerpoint and put it into Iphoto?
I'm editing a video for my youth group and I can't get the photo from the powerpoint my youth minister emailed me to upload to iphoto, thus not letting me put it in imovie. I've tried having both windows open and just dragging the photo from one to the other and that didn't work. I tried copying and pasting it into iphoto, but when i right-click in iphoto the option to paste doesn't even show up. The photo is a .tiff, so could that have something to do with it? Any help is appreciated, and a prompt response would be greatly appreciated as we are plannign on showing the video tomorro morning.

This creates a 200 dpi jpg image of whatever you're "printing" and imported it into iPhoto. You can do it from any application.

I don't have the bandwidth to download 5.3 gigs of anything. I'll have to talks someone else into doing it for me. Can they download to a flashdrive? Can I install from that drive?
Yes. You'll need to download it from a Mac and be logged into the Mac App Store with your Apple ID.
