Please let me know if there is a possibility to find on what carrier my Iphone 4 was locked , based on serial number or IMEI !
I bought it from E-Bay and I don't have any info about it !

Ask whoever you bought it from. How can you not know this? If they can't tell you either, then call AppleCare (you will have to pay for the call) and give them the serial number of the phone. They may be able to tell you.

That wouldn't be an issue as I am on Pay and Go, but I have tried O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange sims but it still doesnt find any network.
I looked online to see if it was blocked by IMEI number and its not.

Please if anyone can find out what network it is locked too or if I can get it unlocked officially through apple somehow?

Apple does not do this at all.
ONLY the carrier to which it is locked can unlock it.
You should probably not leave this much information about your iphone on a public forum.
You will need to ask whomever sold it to you who the carrier is.

You may be able to call Apple Care and ask them. If it originated in the US, it is locked to AT&T.

Only the carrier it is locked to can unlock it. Ask your "friends" what carrier it's locked to, then contact them and ask it they will unlock it for you. If they don't know, then call AppleCare and give them the serial number. They may be able to tell you.

If they are in the Apps part of your computer's iTunes library then you should be able to select/highlight one of them and do 'get-info' (control-I) and the account that owns the app should show on the File tab (Summary tab on older versions of iTunes) on the popup.
As long as the account is authorised on your computer's iTunes (Store > Authorise This Computer menu option) then you should be able to sync them to your phone.

OK. My friend had bought an iPhone 4 online, second hand. He does not have the SIM card. He had recently changed his passcode and FORGOT IT, and we had to restore it. The problem is that, after we restored, it askes for the SIM activation. And none of us have a MICRO SIM Card. So my question is how can I find out what carrier the iPhone is with if it is stuck on the welcome screen and if I can borrow someone elses SIM card to activate the phone so he can use it.

Go to the apple store and they will figure out what sim card it is.

Your wireless carrier might be able to help you. Technically they can tracking - presuming its powered on with the 3G on - but while they may have the ability, they may/may not have the willingness. At the very least you should let them know it's stolen so they can disable the 3G so you don't get stuck with any. Barges - presuming the thieves haven't already pulled the sim card.

What kind of use do you make of your MBP? A lot of photo or video? If so, you may be storing a lot of large files. Look at Finder and see what the file system looks like. Do you have large libraries of data files associated with applications?
You may want to think about an external hard drive to use for backups and data storage, you can point applications to the external drive as the default storage location.

I bought their Mercury Elite Pro 2 TB dirve last September and set it up to use part for Time Machine backup and part for other work space. Setup with Disk utility into two partitions is very quick and easy. Just remember to format as Extended Journaled with GUID partition table. How do I find out what is in the cloud so I can delete it?

This is a complete outrage. All I did was support Apple and was told to sign in to cloud and now I am told I am using too much space. No idea what this is about and no way to call because I cannot talk. How do I find out what is in the cloud so I can delete it? Is this e-mail, Word documents, or something else? What the heck are they talking about?

It's everything that's stored in icloud: email, backups, calendars, contacts, app data (including iwork documents), .... on and on.
If you need to delete some data to recover some free storage...
You'd have to go into the various apps on a device that is also stored on iCloud and begin trimming files.
Backups:
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage; there, tap the device you need info on and the resulting screen lists Backup Options with which apps store data on iCloud. Turn off camera roll and any other apps that might have a lot of data. Then delete the backup. That will free up space. Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream. Regarding emails, on the computer, move emails from mailboxes in icloud to those on the device. That can also save a lot of space.
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage
From there you can find how much and which files are in a backup, and how much different apps use to store data files. At the bottom of the screen is the size of the mail storage.
