I am having a issue installing Adobe Acrobat XI. I am running Windows 8.1. When go to install it gets an error. The error is with transform in registry and will not install product. I am looking at how I can fix this registry problem.

I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

I have tried to restore my old iPhone 3, but when i tried the itunes logo and a pic of a USB cable have come up on my phone and now i cant do anything with my phone.Any ideas how i can fix this? I have a new Macbook Air, 6 months old, and for the last few days the fan had run continuously, this is the first time it has ever run, and now it won't stop, the fan starts up as soon as I turn it on and the computer seems to running more slowy.The computer is not hot but I am worried it may burn out,.Any ideas on how I can fix this please ?

Here is the screen shot, just the top half, there are another 10 pages, but I guess this should enough for you to have an idea of waht is going on, bit small I am afraid. No, I don't have any apps setup to run when I open my computer, the kernel, varies between 290 and 305 per cent ish.
Would that PRAM thing help ? I think it may be the computer itself, well something inside, as this the first time that the fan has ever started running since I have this computer, even when I have 3 or 4 apps running.

Move the content from the old computer to the new computer.
Sync the iPhone via cable to the new computer and enable Wi-Fi syncing.
It should now be possible to sync via Wi-Fi to the new computer. -
I've been working on our church website and all of a sudden this week, my computer will not connect to the site. I keep getting a message saying that the the connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can fix this?
The "The connection was reset" error message can be caused by a bug fix for the BEAST (Browser Exploit Against SSL/TLS) attack that the server doesn't handle.

I just recently got a new laptop with windows 8 and downloaded itunes 11.0.2. I downloaded my tv shows from the cloud to the laptop and the playback was awful...the audio was fine but the video is choppy and couldn't keep up with the audio. I thought maybe it was because I downloaded it from the cloud and it was a different version of itunes so I downloaded different TV shows from the store and it was the same problem. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

ShelleyHow did you "try" to transfer this data? The only way to restore App data is by restoring from a backup that contains the App data, then syncing the Apps back to the phone. Emails are not included in any iPhone backup, only account settings.

The send buttin is greyed out when I try to text some but not all people from my iPod Touch. This happens even when they have iPhone 4s. Any ideas why and how I can fix this?
This issue can be caused by the McAfee SiteAdvisor extension.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Why can't I open and retrieve my files from iPhoto and my Address Book after importing the files from my Power Mac G5 to my new Mac Pro? I get a warning that says the new OS on my Pro doesn't open files from a Power Mac. Any idea how I can fix this?
For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process. Try restarting
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost). -

I had my computer repaired, and when I got it back I had to reinstall iTunes. Now iTunes won't authorize this computer because it says we already have 5 devices authorized, but this is the same computer. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Deauthorizing won't delete anything, and all your purchased content is safe. You will just have to reauthorize any of the other computers that get deauthorized along with your computers old machine id.
To get your purchased content back on that computer, just use iTunes to redownload it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US). Of course, music you ripped from CD or got from another source you'll need to copy those files back over. -

FYI, this is a forum for storage and sharing...photoshop.com and revel. If you have acrobat issues you might want to make a note of the other forums:

But, since I have had this same issue myself...
On Windows, locate your pdf document. Right click it and select "open with". Select Adobe Acrobat. That should do it. On MAC, I'm not sure but I'm guessing there is a similar setting.
