You have to set the slave switch's priority to be lower than the master switch.

You can force quit any program on iOS by double tapping the home button. This should bring up a swipe-able panel of all of the apps currently running. Simply swipe up on any app you want to close.
As an aside, all of the apps on this panel are backgrounded to some extent (i.e. waiting for you to come back) and are using some system resources. On older devices you may want to keep an eye on how many are there because it can be a performance drain. I've personally had this issue.

How I can forced close the Citadel Trace References

On my application I write data to Citadel traces using "Database Writing
VIs" (Open Trace.vi .. Write Trace.vi ... Close Trace.vi).
Sometimes if my application "crash" the Close Trace.vi is not executed and that's why the "trace references"
are NOT closed.
When start my application again I get error: "There is already an open writer for the selected trace."
This is natural because the references are not closed when application crash.
My question: How can I solve problem like this?
Is there any function on the Citadel Engine what I can use to "force"
close all writer references, reboot engine etc, get references already opened?
An attachments there is example VI and EXE.

I can see that we have Services as NI Citadel 4 Service and NI Citadel 5 from Services in Administration tools. Can you try to restart them and see if the effect is something that you need. From then maybe we could try something out.

After my update to version 4, the back button now only seems to store the last page I was on rather than the last 10 like it used to before the update. I've scoured the options menu to no avail. How can I get the back button working like it used to?

The back button used to work many times before it would reach the end of its list of pages I had been to recently and became greyed out, but now it will only work once before this happens. Also, the list of pages that pops up when I right click it now only has two entries no matter how many pages I've visited on that tab, the page I am currently on and the page I most recently left. Previous to the installation of the update to version 4 however, the list that appeared when I right clicked on the back button contained up to 10 items.

I have tried to make a video call through Skype to a business relation (who did not have the possibility to use Facetime) on Ipad 3rd Generation. Did this using the most recent Skype app (which claims to have been updated for the Retina display). The app works all rigt, but the video doesn't. That is: I can see myself, but the other person can't. And I cannot see the other person. What have I done wrong?

How do can I use Jumpstart to boot Solaris from Slave Drive

I have XP on Master Drive and I used Jumpstart to install Solaris on Slave Drive.
This is the profile:

Now, I specified that the boot_device is c0d1 but after the installation the boot device is c0d0 which is my Master Drive...
...when I use Windows Boot Manager to boot Solaris... it cannot find the boot files on the master drive so it runs the DCA...
... so under the DCA I have to tell Solaris that the boot files are in my Slave Drive then I save it.
...I don't want to make this change everytime
any ideas that would make this install hands free?

I live in Louisiana. Every search, and website that I vist lists local events or preferences for Chicago. Any idea why this is happening or how I can fix it? It's almost like the internet thinks that I live in Chicago?????

If I go to google news, it automatically lists local news for Chicago. If I go to any website that lets me look at local events, it pulls events for Chicago. Even Pepsi Refresh project, I clicked a button for "projects near me" and it pulls projects in Chicago. WHY?

Can't get my IPOD to work like I expect

I've just bought an IPOD being an MP3 player user before. The IPOD is not working how I expect.
If I create a Playlist in ITUNES, from my MP3 library. I must download my whole 'My Music' library to the IPOD first.
This cannot be right all I want is a Playlist'
Basically do I have to 'Sync' my whole library onto my IPOD'?
I'm sorry if you think this is a stupid question but I cannot create Playlist's without downloading my whole library.

No you can choose to the option "Sync Music - Selected playlists" instead of all songs and playlist or you can "Manually Manage songs and videos" and drag and drop what you want to the iPod:

You can create the playlist or playlists you want then use a keyboard shortcut to prevent the iPod syncing, once you are connected you can then change the setting to selected playlists and select the ones you want to sync. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows with iTunes 7.3 or later installed hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys together. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. When the iPod is connected click on it's icon to bring up the preference tabs, go to the Music tab and choose Sync Music and the Selected playlists radio button. Choose the playlist(s) you just made from the selection and click Apply.

Can I make a calendar that works like the "Birthday Calendar" that updates for something like an anniversary?

I would like to have a calendar called Anniversaries that updates like Birthdays. Is there a way to do this? I like the way it shows the age of the person and would like it to show the number of anniversaries. This would be most helpful for many types of anniversaries. I have it now as a birthday but it is somewhat cumbersome and would seem to work better as a separate calendar.

Here's what I've done which may work for others. I've scrapped the idea of using the birthday reminders function. Instead, I created a new calendar (click the settings icon in the upper right of the icloud website) called "Birthdays-Non Contact". Then I entered the missing bdays as all day events (repeating every year) on this calendar. So now all my birthdays show on my main calendar....some come from the birthday field in the contacts database and the rest come from my newly created "Birthdays-Non Contact" calendar events.
Interestingly, if I choose to show only my "Birthdays-Non Contact" calendar, all my contact birthdays appear on it as well, so it gives a complete list of all my birthdays and nothing else....cool.
I should say, everything I'm talking about is what I see on the ICloud site. My husband has the phone at the moment which I presume will show the same picture.

Yes it sounds like you have a corrupted preference file.
The setting you make in individual programs get saved to a Preference file in your Users/Library/Preferences folder.
All you have to do is drag out the old file to the desktop, reboot and load the program and the preference file gets rebuilt without your preferences which you reset.
For your case I beleive the preference file is
com.apple.desktop.plist
