Thanks for your prompt response, however I have first seen it now. I have placed an active SIM card in the iPhone turned it off and on. It now says SIM locked, please write access code. The problem is I don't remember the password. When I connect it to iTunes it tell me that I have to write the password before it can be used with iTunes...... Do you have any good ideas? I by accident deleted an important Note that had all my passwords on my Notes Ap on my Iphone 5. I can not find a file that has deleted Notes files so I can recover it. Any idea how I can get it back? Thanks,Mike
Do you have a backup of your iPhone? If so, do a restore and whatever Notes were backed up should reappear.
You will lose any changes made since that backup though. -

My iPod touch is not connecting to my iCloud account, under iCloud settings it has my old email account and username that I have since updated and are working correctly on my iPad, any idea how I can reset this on the iPod or otherwise? It won't give me the option to sign out of the old account, it's that light grey color that you can't click on. And since it has the old email address that it's telling me to go into to verify the account, I can't actually change it... I'm stuck

If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password. In OS X 10.10 and later, this option also works with FileVault, but only if you enabled it when you activated FileVault. It's not retroactive. Otherwise, see below.
Note: If you've activated FileVault, this procedure doesn't apply. Follow instead these instructions.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities window appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar at the top of the screen—not from any of the items in the OS X Utilities window.
In the window that opens, type this:
resetp
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens. Close the Terminal window to get it out of the way.
Select the startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected. You won't be able to do this if FileVault is active.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select

from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but the Keychain will be reset (empty.) If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as the login password), there's no way to recover it. -

I contacted my carrier as the voicemail screen on the phone indicated your same response. Evidently with IOS 8.0.2, the phone will ask for your voicemail once and you have to set it up and then it does not ask for it anymore. The carrier did need to reset it to allow me to do the aforementioned tasks and gain access to the voicemail. Thank you

All Products and Services > iTunes > iTunes Store > Account Management > iTunes Store account security
Answer the questions and if required sign in with your Apple ID and password - same one you used to log in on this support forum.
You will find an option to send an email to Apple on that page. Indicate that you forgot the answers to your security questions and wait for iTunes support to reply. -

The encrypted backup password stays unless you want to restore the device as new.

You can keep trying to restore the device from backup until you remember the password. If you're having trouble, try:

Website passwords you may have used
