Do you want to "teach" or "learn"? HTML DB was renamed Application Express or APEX several years ago.

You cannot run Batch Manager directly from within the OSA Administrator or Analyzer clients. Batch Manager has its own GUI client that can be used the define and schedule jobs, however, it also possible to run and montitor jobs via command line as well.

No. Flash can only display html content in textfields and only supports a very limited number of html tags (look up the htmlText property of TextFields). So to display an html/php file is not possible.

How I can changes oracle binary directory

I just upgrade sucessful from ver 9.2.0.4 to 9.2.0.7. this issue is cousmitic the binary directory still call 9.2.0.4 instead of 9.2.0.7. there is easy way to solve this issue. I would like to call this binary directory call 9.2.0.7

Renaming of ORACLE home technically possible. However for the following reasons it is not recommended.
1) There are certain files under ORACLE_HOME which stores hardcoded ORACLE_HOME name value.
2) Inventory information might become obsolete and future patch installs may not possible.
You can also think about creating a soft link for 9.2.0.4 as 9.2.0.7 This way it will be easier and less complicated for you!

i have vs.net 2008 and odt 10.2 and i want to get oracle explorer but it doesn't show! why not?
do i need to install odt 11g to get that?and if i need to it will cause a problem to my database which is 10g?

Hi,
You can to use LKM File to SQL and IKM SQL to File Append (Read the description b4 using it).
Also, make sure u "check" staging area different from target area and select any Oracle logical schema in the drop down.
Eventually, u can see 3 boxes in flow tab whereas u need to select KMs for 1 st (LKM) and 3 rd (IKM) boxes only.
So now, u can write ur oracle function for columns and execute that in "staging".
P.S: Please close ur previous thread if they are answered. And plz bare in mind to assign points if u find the replies from expert are Helpful/Correct.

I checked Note 495484, but in our case , we want to use ONLY ECC CONTRACTS as a Source of Supply for DIRECT MATERIAL as well (like Indirect Materials) and we don't want to maintain another source of supply in SRM i.e.Local Contract or Interlinkage for SAME MATERIAL.
SAP must have address this Direct Material Issues. ( Convert into ECS although we are deploying Classic Scenarion and Source of Supply Issue ..) . BTW, by doing some enhancement ( with some BAdi or other.....) we must arrange to pull / determine the ECC Contarcts as a SoS for DIRECT Material.
Can you / anyone confirm whether such a Enhancement is possible ? If yes, can you please suggest which BAdi or Exit can be used to acheive the same ?

This is not something that can be answered easily. There is quite alot of code involved....
To get started I suggest you read up on the built-in package 'DBMS_LOB' from Oracle . Most of what you need you should find there.

Hi,
yes, u can have more databases on a single machine and they can be of different versions.
You have to use and initialize the correct ORACLE_HOME to create the DB of the version U use.
For ex, u have 2 homes:
C:\Oracle\Ora817 8i home and C:\Oracle\ora920 9i home
Normally, using OFA, imagine that You want create 2 db, TEST_8I for 8i home and TEST_9I for the 9i home, You shold have:
C:\Oracle\Admin\TEST_8I\<<OFA DIRS>> and C:\Oracle\Oradata\TEST_8I for 8i DB adn C:\Oracle\Admin\TEST_9I\<<OFA DIRS>> and C:\Oracle\Oradata\TEST_9I for the 9i version.
It is important, when You create the DB, that u use the executables of C:\Oracle\Ora817\bin to create 8i db and C:\Oracle\Ora920\bin for the 9i one.
Then U can use the 9i listener to manage both instances
