How I coloured My Zen MI

Well -this was a fluke - so I don't recomend it.
One day I had my zen micro with me and it was pouring rain out. I was walking around the city shopping, and had no umbrella. so needless to say I got soaked. I had my Zen MIcro in my jacket pocket - and it's a pretty thin blue jacket.
WHen I finally took it out of my pocket a while later - the blue dye in my jacket had run beacuse of the wetness, and it had creeped down around the edges of my micro.
outside of the blue light band that goes around the micro, but under the white casing.
so i have some cool blue streaks that go around the edges of my player. sorry i can't post pics of this - but just try to imagine.
so maybe with so food colouring / dye etc you could make some cools patterns on your player if you let it soak in around the edges. I know this has nothing to do with anything...

I would suggest that you don't get any liquid near or around your player. Bring an umbrella next time! A drop of water in the wrong place can put your player into some serious trouble.

  • How to colour this specific part?

    Hi,
    I've googled many things, but none of it tells me how to colour the square next to the resource name!
    Unfortunately I cannot post picture yet, but its the square box next to the resource name!
    I've tried all the possible colouring, background fill, event went to outlook to colour the contact, still
    no luck.
    Suggestions?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    If you're talking about the Project 2013 version, this is the link integration. In case you integrate Project with Link, a colored square tells you the status of the link profile of the resource.
    Hope this helps,

  • How Come on the zen xtra

    How come on the zen xtra there is no "top 25 played" playslit or anything like that. i was recently playing around with a micro and i saw that there were playlist like that on the player. Can anyone answer that question for me?

    I have been experiencing some extraordinary behavior with my Xtra. It seems to be deliberately choosing music for me based on genre, title info, even subject matter, when I randomize all tracks. This is no joke! The **bleep** thing knows my music better than I do, and some of the time it seems to be making fun, or even historical points, with some of my musical tracks. This could be a coincidence but with 5000 tracks representing every musical genre known it isn't likely. Could the firmware be capable of making these decisions based on track-tagging? I don't know. But it has made for some very interesting listening sessions.

  • HERES HOW TO SOLVE THE ZEN VISION M CHARGING PROBLEM - WITHOUT SPENDING MORE CA

    Hi all,
    this advice is targeted at people charging with a laptop, and the dam player wont charge
    the problem is that (with xp anyway) that the usb ports are programed for the power to be killed of when a device is not connected to the ports with sufficient charge to be recognized. heres how to fix this
    go to control panel/system/hardware/device manager
    then scroll and find uni'versal serial bus controllers (the flashy name for USBs) it was right down the bottom for me
    open it up and you we see 2 or more "USB root hubs" this is the controller of the USB ports - right click on the first one and select its properties
    this is where it may differ for some but - either under the "power" or "power management" tab untick the box which allows the computer to cut the power to the usb
    now repeat this for the remaining "USB root hubs" and bobs your uncle
    just plub in the vision then after a short moment try turning it on or it might load automatic
    hope this cures alot of rag - it cured mine
    ps - i would recommend particularly with a laptop to go back and tick the power boxs on the usb root hub properties so, when you go to use a laptop as one, the battery last longer
    cheers

    I thought this post was the answer to my prayers after struggling with my new Zen M all night, wondering why it won't charge!
    still though, I plug it into usb, only the blue light flashes... then SOMETIMES after 20 minutes or so, the battery indicator will come on, in most dead battery icon, with lighting bolt / charging symbol. Then SOMETIMES after another 5-0 minutes, it'll boot and start playing some demo song on there I guess. But then after another 2-3 minutes (times are all estimates btw), it seems to shut down, and goes back to just the blinking blue light, and I can't manually boot it or anything!
    Im ready to send it back, and NOT get another one! For 3 bucks cost, they couldn't include a simple receptacle plug connected to a wire, connected to a transformer, connected to an electrical outlet plug (A $3 CHARGER!!)? Ugh.
    any more help, ideas, suggestions, or prognosis, its much appreciated
    Chris

  • A way how to fix the Zen Micro head phone jack prob

    Hi! I am one of the many people that purchased a Zen Micro MP3 player, I loved it until around 6 months of use, an audio shorting problem with the head phone jack, started to repeat it's self every time, that I would plug my head phone's into the Zen Micro head phone jack. After awhile, I was tired of this problem, so I just decided to never use it again, unless I could find out if the maker of the Zen Micro had a repair service. I noticed that some people had their Micro's replaced a few times under the warranty that is included with the player. I also noticed that some one created a way to fix this problem, but I wanted to see if I could find an easier way to fix the problem. Well I did end up finding an easier way to fix the problem, this is what I did.
    Absolutely in all means I can't be held responsible / reliable for any unforseen thing / things, that you may or could, do to the Zen Micro, by following the instructions, which I provided. By trying what I did by following the instructions, which I provided you; you accept all responsibility to any thing / things, that may or could happen to the Zen Micro.
    The Instructions:
    I took a stapler pressed it down to get a used staple then I carefully inserted it in the outer part of the plastic head phone jack ring. Then I pressed the rest of the staple flat against the Zen micro. And Now I get great sound, it is at least better than, the way it was before I inserted the staple. I would suggest to always remove the staple. When you connect the Zen Micro to a computer, charging device, or any other device other than a pair of head phones. You understand that if you leave the staple inserted in the Zen Micro and don't remove it. While you have it connected to a computer, charging device, or any other device, or devices, even a pair of head phones, and some thing happens, you can't hold me responsible.

  • How old is your zen tou

    Yeah touch owners... I was just wondering a few things...
    How old is your touch?
    Have you ever had to send it in for a new battery?
    The reason i ask is because i just bought a new 40 gig touch, but i'm woried because you can't replace the battery as easily as my micro battery.

    Ive had my Zen Touch for about 2 months and the battery has been good...but its yet to face its biggest test of lasting throughout my 2 hours and 30 minutes of a plane trip to Hong Kong also it has to last an extra 3 hours for my time at Heathrow..so lets hope it can last 5 hours and 30 minutes at least!!! But i never get 24 hours more like 8 realistically maybe even less...but no battery problems and the sound has been great!!!

  • In SAP Webdynpro using ABAP,how to colour the downloaded excel file?

    Hi all Experts'
    I have downloaded the data from the webdynpro application into an excel file in the presentation server using a custom button in a layout of a view in the webdynpro component.
    Now the requirement is to colour the column heading names and the downloaded excel file should show the full column length.
    Could anybody help me on this how to do this two things.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    You can use this function GUI_EXEC.
    Let say you want to use winzip to zip the file then what you should do like this:
    use this command --> ' -min -a D:\WALCOTT.ZIP D:\MBARANG.TXT'
    D:\MBARANG.TXT --> path to the file you want to Zip
    D:\WALCOTT.ZIP --> result zip file
    The command above is depends on the software you use to zip.
    then
      DATA: cmdguiexec(150).
      cmdguiexec = cmd.
      CALL FUNCTION 'GUI_EXEC'
        EXPORTING
          command          = cmdguiexec.
    Hope this help you.
    Best Regards,
    Victor.

  • How long has your Zen Micro been in working conditi

    Just another question... how long have you guys had your Zen Micro's without problems, or without any disfunctioning (dont think thi is the right word but w.e) problems. I am hearing all of these bad things about the Micro and i've only had it for week, im worried about my Micro's fate.

    don't worry about it. your micro will do just fine. Mines has been workin' flawlessly since i got it 5 months ago.
    You have to remember, these forums are like an emergence room for mp3 players. All you will hear here is negati've stuff.

  • How do you set Zen sleek drive space through softwa

    OK,
    So I have a Zen sleek and I accidentally cracked the screen. No problem, used a wire remote and still good. Except the jack on the Zen broke and it doesn't respond now. So I figure I'll use this as a glorified portable hard dri've, except the manual says I need to set the size through the player, which I can't see what I'm doing. Does anybody know how I can do this through software? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Cheers,

    I just wanted to close out this question.
    I never received a clear answer but in the end I don't need to use the function. My concern was that a new WD1001FALS would be louder than the OEM 320GB HDD in my iMac to the point that I wouldn't be happy with it. Not wanting to trade speed for quiet I passed on the Green caviar and went for the Black. After living with it for several weeks I can say that it is very quiet and while I don't know if it's measurably louder than the old drive, it's not enough for me to notice (and I'm pretty picky).
    So, I'm happy with the drive as-is, case closed.

  • How to completely rollback Zen Micr

    So I updated the firmware and drivers, etc on my Zen Micro. Gotta say that my Micro pretty much sucks now! Can't get some songs to transfer either in MediaSource or MP0. The one's that are transferred are usually mislabeled, combined, or something. In MediaSource I can't change anything already on the player. If I try to chage the spelling of an artist for example, it just sits there and doesn't change. When I go to see all songs by a single artists, they aren't listed on the player itself but ARE listed as being there on the player in Media Source and MP0! I've reloaded all the downloads but it still just sucks!
    Anywho, how do I completely roll back everything to what was originally on my Zen Micro? I still have the software that came with it but I'm guessing I'll have to completely 'clean' the player to be able to get back to the previous firmware? I'm running XP.
    If this info is elsewhere I apologize but I could find it on the Micro specifically. Please point me in the right direction.

    Tried just running the firmware several times and got a message saying "firmware error". So... I erased all the Creative software on my computer and then formatted, erased firmware, updated firmware on my player. Ran the firmware again and it worked. Put the Creative software on the CD that came with my player back on my computer, didn't 'update' anything and now it works like it should!
    Songs actualy transferred AND with the correct info! This 'update' fiasco reminds me of that very intelligent saying - if it ain't broke don't fix it. Li've and learn I guess.

  • How to colour a column

    Hi guys,
    I hope that you are doing great these days.
    How can I colour the data in a column in Interactive Report.?
    How can I colour the header of a column in Interactive Report.?
    -- I do not mean doing it with Highlight in Action menu
    Best Wishes,
    Fateh

    Why have you marked that response as correct when
    <li>it only addresses half of your question?
    <li>it creates another problem you need to solve?
    In APEX the presentational aspects of an application are normally controlled using a combination of (X)HTML and CSS via themes and templates. You need to have an understanding of these technologies to make best use of APEX.
    Interactive reports are somewhat different as they do not have a developer-customizable template, but we can still use CSS to style them by working out what selectors to use. A web inspector like that found in Safari, or the Firefox+Firebug combo) is usually used for this.
    There are 3 ways to include CSS in web pages. In this case the easiest is using an internal style sheet. Add a <tt>&lt;style&gt;</tt> element containing the required CSS rules to the HTML Header property in the APEX Page Attributes:
    <style type="text/css">
      Column header
    .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA th[id="COLUMN_NAME"],
    .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA th[id="COLUMN_NAME"] div {
      background: #900 !important;
      color: #fff !important;
      Column cells
    .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA td[headers="COLUMN_NAME"] {
      background: #c00 !important;
      color: #fff !important;
    </style>Replace <tt>COLUMN_NAME</tt> with the name of your report column.
    Note that for any questions relating to styling and the visual appearance of an app you really need to reproduce the problem on apex.oracle.com, or at least provide the following information:
    - APEX version
    - DB version and edition
    - Web server architecture (EPG, OHS or APEX listener)
    - Browser(s)/version(s) used
    - Theme
    - Templates
    - Region type(s)
    as both the problem and solution can be dependent on these factors.

    Hi
    you can do it programatically
    take a property node of the enum and use named numeric colors properties.
