How I set the auto delete old spool request

I would like to know , how to auto delete old spool request. Have any option in SAP.
I want spool requests on server for 3 days only.
Pls suggest.

As a default background job SAP schedules RSPO0041 program in background, this program's variant has the Minimum age in days value.
Can you check with what variant this program is running.
This program needs to be scheduled daily with Minimum age in days field.

We have a problem with spool requests being deleted automatically, we've checked job RSPO1041 and made sure it was not scheduled to run, but somehow spool requests are gone. We also checked all the jobs on the day requests were deleted but nothing stands out. I would really appreciate it if any of you can help us find out which job is doing this or how to avoid requests being deleted.

Please check the value of parameter 'rspo/req_lifetime' as it decides the lifetime of the spool requests which are generally stored in TemSe.Go through note 48400,this may help you understand how spool requests are stored and reorganized.

How to set the "Auto detect proxy settings on N82"...

Hi folks,
I have a WLAN at the university which is secured of course and I need to under go a web authentication in order to connect to the network and i have done till then on my N82 and later i cannot browse.
To browse from the fireforx or explorer i need to set the settings to "Auto detect proxt settings" and IP auto... from Laptop.
I am not able to find such option on mobile ,, i need to give the proxy server name which is unknown to any one and mostly the university IT guys will not say to us
So can you suggest me some thing to overcome this problem .

However, many websites look at the country location of the isp connection you're using, which is a different matter, & not in control of the user. Some sites allow choosing a personal language/location setting, stored in a cookie.

Microsoft Outlook is an email client, and is most likely the cause of the deletions. Check your settings in Outlook to make sure "Leave a copy of messages on server" is checked.

I am searching for the code to sync in java only upload or download and both. I tried with some code but it is giving me oracle.lite.mSync.SyncException: AES encryption error.

Deletion of Spool Request

Hello,
My spool is full Could i delete old spool request if i deleted is there any impact on system ??/
the spool request now reached into 31,901 so what steps i have to take please guide.

Hi Deepak,
1. Check whether background job SAP_REORG_SPOOL with the report RSPO0041/RSPO1041 is running properly or not.
2. If running properly, Goto t-code SP01, enter from and to dates for "Date Created" and execute. Spool requests get displayed. Select any one spool request and check the request attributes(F8). If you're able to see date under "deleted on" as either 12/31/2099 or 01/01/2100, this is due to kernel problem. For this you've to apply the new kernel as per the below note.

After the disaster of iTunes 11.1 that deleted nearly all my archived podcasts (recovered from backup thankfullly) I was shocked, but not altogether surprised, to see that the option to delete played episodes has been enabled/re-enabled by default.
From the lower right of the Podcasts window click Settings then, if needed, click Defaults, then turn Delete Played Episodes to Off.
Why set the destructive option as the default?
I have many episodes that I want to keep that are no longer available at their feed so the last thing I want is any automatic delete process to be enabled.

External Trading Partner is sending the EDI 856 via AS2 URL to our Oracle B2B Server.
In the inbound 856 agreement, we have checked the option of Funtional Ack and also Functiona Ack handled by B2B is yes.
We have the outbound agreement which is sending that Functional ack 997 (auto generated by oracle b2b) and we have specified the Outbound AS2 channel of the Partner.
997 doc is being sent to external partner using AS2 channel, but the filename is generating as '40101'.
Please can you let me know how to set the AS2 fileName for outbound Functional Ack 997 auto generated by Oracle B2B.

AFAIK, there is no option to set the file name when the 997 is generated automatically by B2B.
Alternatively, if this is a must requirement, you can generate the FA from backend and send to B2B with MSG_TYPE =9. In this case, you can set the header with filename (How to set the actionname property in B2B 11g)

How to retrive the old spool requests

In one of our system we ran a job, the spool requests are created.
When i tried to view it was deleted. Is there any way to see the old spool and retrive the old spool back.
This is a critical issue, please help me out.

Hai,
It is not possible to retrive data after it has been deleted from the table.
Deleted means by the housekeeping jobs. You will not find the entries in the table as a result you cannot query the table to get the results you needed.
Restore means when a database is damaged it can be returned to a correct and consistent state with a restore procedure.
In your case if you want the old spool request you can restore the backup of a particular date corresponding to the date of the spool request.

Show all configurable settings:
RMAN>SHOW ALL;
Write disk backups to the /rmanback directory: (%U will be replaced with unique filenames)
RMAN> CONFIGURE CHANNEL DEVICE TYPE DISK FORMAT '/rmanback/%U';
Backup using a flash recovery area rather than disk
RMAN> CONFIGURE CHANNEL DEVICE TYPE DISK FORMAT CLEAR;
Configure RMAN to back up the control file after each backup
RMAN> CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP ON;
By default, RMAN automatically names control file backups and stores them in the flashrecovery area.
To configure RMAN to write control file backups to the /backup directory:( %F will generate a unique filename)
RMAN> CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO '/backup/controlfile%F';

My Macbook Pro won't auto delete old TM files

My wife's Macbook pro won't auto delete old files on the TM disc. I think it has to do with using a time capsule. I'd rather stop that and just use the WD Passport but how do I do that?

From the iTunes menu bar try View>Show View Options. Make sure what you want to see is checked and what you don't is unchecked. You can do this (may need to do this) for any playlists, your main Library, etc.

How to set the width of DataGridColumn dynamically?

What I want to do is, load data from a text file and put into a DataGrid component, the fields of ech record in the text have fixed length, and are seperated by a space, like this:

The problem is, the width of the DataGridColumn is average, how to set the column width by the length of each field? I can calculate the rate of each field ( field / fields ), but I don't know how to change the property of the DataGridColumn.width.
