How I use standar Workflow "Approve Travel Request"?

Hi,
I implemented in ESS the "trips and Expenses" option run correctly, but I dont know how I use(or active) workflow (when section in IMG for example)

Sometime ago in my SAP system implemented the workflow "Leave Request" (implementation is succesful)

Fiori Approve Travel request

Hello Friends,
We are having a demo with the client and I am working on approve travel request. I have installed the app and it is working fine, but I have a clarification.
1. What is requester history
2. Will the app show all the services employee has opted or in requester history it will show.
Please let me know at the earliest and we are having a demo on monday and need your opinion at the earliest.

Hi Srikanth,
Requester history will show all the past travel request created along with the status for that specific user.
Say Employee (user id who has created travel request) is a Requester.
When you click on the Requester history ,following details will be shown :
Requester id
Estimated cost of travel request,
Status of the travel request
Dates of travel
Information.
may be for you its blank, because there is no history. Just create 2 3 request with same id and approve/reject. Then it should show the history.

How to use standard workflows in my company?

Hi Experts,
I want to know how do i use standard workflows for my company. I have searched forum, but coudn't find proper answer. I have seen some standard workflow numbers(eg.WS12300111). But when i search for them it wont works. It will pop up "Choose Workflow Template" window. When i select the module there it opens up the empty folders.
What is the meaning of this?
Can i know what do i need to do for overcome this problem?

Hello rashika ,
To differentiate between standard and custom workflows .
All custom workflows would have first three digits lying betwee 900-999 ( called prefix number range )
The number range 90000000 - 99999999 is reserved for customer developmen t and the range 00000000 - 89999999 is reserved for SAP.
Or to know precisely what exactly is the number range of custom workflows in your system , check through tcode OOW4.

How to find the workflow for Change Request for the PO's

Hi All,
We have a PO which is pending and we can't receipt it again nor make payment on this. After checking the Approval history for that PO we found that the change request has been made. The change request was to change the amount to be paid to R39196 instead of R58237.00. We don't know where to check the workflow for the change request to identify the cause.
what i need to know is how to find the workflow for that change request? The other workflows can be checked using the po_header_id for the PO's but i am confused with the change request workflow

For 11.5.10.2 run this query to determine the keys to search on:
Select wf_item_type, wf_item_key from APPS.po_change_requests where document_type = 'PO' and Document_num = 'put-PO-number-here'
Then use the keys returned by the query to look up the Workflow in
Workflow Administrator Web Applications / Administrator Workflow / Status Monitor
Search using the results returned in fields "Type Internal Name" and "Item Key" in Status Monitor
The query for change requests on a specific Requisition would be:
Select wf_item_type, wf_item_key from APPS.po_change_requests where document_type = 'REQ' and Document_num = 'put-Req-number-here'

Image and Archiving - OAD5 How to use own workflow insteard of TS30001128

Hi,
I'm on sap version 6.40
By TC OAD5 SAP (Doc Type Customizing Wizard), instead of TS30001128,I want to use my own workflow to expend the approval process.
Question is how to make my own workflow available in the value list(it only works when I copy it from those existing task/workflow in the list). Is there any specific requirement for the workflow input parameters?
If that is possible, then we also want to used a workflow for those FI document which can not be parked.
once image scanned, it will be pass to A. A will enter information in WebFlow form then forward it to B for approval. once it is approved, we will call a BDC method to post the document based on information in WebFlow form.
my concern here is :
when posting using BDC, how to attach the image to the document
Since I am new here, is there any documentation about ArchiveLink workflow?

Regarding the rest of your questions, I can only very strongly recommend against custom forms and BDCs! Unless you make it a multi-step process: Form -> Park by BDC -> review/complete -> Approve -> Post. But I don't know why you wouldn't be able to park - you only need a vendor, refrence and amount to park an invoice.
The problem with forms is the lack of validation. With parked docs you'll always know that a tax code is appropriate for the G/L account and so on. With a poarked doc in workflow, you can control that it only goes for approval once it is technically complete (using 'save as complete').
Regarding documentation, there's a fair bit of info about archivelink WF in the help, and also a few bits <a href="http://service.sap.com/archivelink">over here</a>

How to use the method getParameterValues() of request object in JSP?

I'm trying to use the method
String a[]=request.getParameterValues("ch_box");
to retrieve the values from the form
but it gives the error
"Method getParamaterValues(java.lang.String) not found in interface javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest."
so plz tell me how to overcome this hurdle?

Well, just one note... either you have a typo in your code, or else in your post.
If you cut and pasted the error message (which it looks like you did), then the method getParamaterValues() should be getParameterValues() instead (notice the spelling difference), so you probably just have a typo in your code.

Oracle Workflow is only available as a component of EBS. It has never been available on, and is not certified for Oracle 11g, nor any version of XE.

ABAP Dump on Approving Travel Request

We are implementing MSS and when a manager is trying to open a Workitem to Approve a Travel request he gets the following ABAP Dump.
The following error text was processed in system R3Q : Value null of URL parameter SAP_FITV_PERSNO has the wrong type
The error occurred on application server <Hostname> and in work process 0 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE

Hello - we are using OOTB approval workflows associated with a SP list. If a task is in "completed" status because the approver it was assigned to approved it, but it's not actually completed because the user approved it prematurely in error, how
can I reopen the task?

Hi Chris,
We cannot reopen the task to approve or reject it again even thought we restore the task to a version before completed. Because once the task is in "Completed" status, it will be locked by the workflow and cannot be edited.
For a workaround, you can start the approval workflow manually and approve or reject it again.

Using OIM Workflow to Manage Requests for ORM

Has anyone used OIM as a workflow engine for users to request creation (not approval) of new roles in ORM? If so, what types of information are presented to the requestor (e.g., list of IT Roles)? What types of information are solicited from the requestor?

Let me clarify my need.
When a manager in a business line identifies the need for a new business role, I need a workflow mechanism by which they can request a new role be created in ORM and specify the IT Roles that should comprise that business role. This request step is separate from the actual role definition itself that would occur in ORM after the request was approved.
