How is it possible that Adobe does not have a personal customer service?

How come it is almost impossible to talk to someone from Adobe in person?  It is extremely frustrating and it drives me away from this company and its products. Please can someone from Adobe pick up the phone or email me so that I can get a) some reassurance about the product I bought and b) get the refund organised swiftly ?

    You may be mixing up two entirely different Adobe products.
    1. Adobe Flash Player. Needed to view web pages designed with Flash. Not needed to view PDF files. Not available for Android (not just Sony).
    2. Adobe Reader. Reads PDF files. However, the Android can also read most PDF files without needing Adobe Reader.

    Your network preferences file may be damaged, that would explain why you can configure the computer and get online but then when the computer wakes from sleep and needs to restore the setting it cannot.
    Open the Library folder of your computer (not the Library in your user directory) and then find the Preferences folder. Now the problem for me is that I've not used Leopard forever so I'm not sure exactly where the file you want is or what it is called. In Mountain Lion it is called:
    com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
    and it is inside a folder called SystemConfiguration. But I can't remember if this has changed along the way or not. The easy thing to do is to go back to the Network Preferences pane again and make the change I directed above. Then you can look in the Preferences folder and sort by date modified to find the network preferences file that was just now modified. Move it to the desktop, restart your computer, reconfigure the WiFi again and see what happens.

    If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 7.0.4. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

    If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

    Go into the iPad's Settings.
    Locate and tap "General" from the menu on the left.
    The second option from the top is "Software Update". Tap this to move into the update settings.
    Tap "Download and Install". This will start the upgrade, which will take several minutes and will reboot your iPad during the process. If the Download and Install button is grayed out, trying clearing up some space. The space required by the update is mostly temporary, so you should gain most of it back after iOS 7 is installed.
    Once the update is installed, you may have to run through the initial steps of setting up your iPad again. This is to account for new features and settings.
    To upgrade using iTunes:
    First, connect your iPad to your PC or Mac using the cable provided when you purchased your device. This will allow iTunes to communicate with your iPad.
    You will also need the latest version of iTunes. Don't worry, you will be prompted to download the latest version when you launch iTunes. Once it installs, you may be asked to setup iCloud by logging into your iTunes account. If you have a Mac, you may be prompted on whether or not you want to enable the Find my Mac feature.
    Now you are ready to begin the process:
    If you upgraded iTunes earlier, go ahead and launch it. (For many, it will launch automatically when you plug in your iPad.)
    Once iTunes is launched, it should automatically detect that a new version of the operating system exists and prompt you to upgrade to it. Choose Cancel. Before updating, you will want to manually sync your iPad to make sure everything is up to date.
    After canceling the dialog box, iTunes should automatically sync with your iPad.
    If iTunes doesn't automatically sync, you can manually do it by selecting your iPad within iTunes, clicking on the File menu and choosing Sync iPad from the list.
    After your iPad has been synced to iTunes, select your iPad within iTunes. You can find it on the left side menu under Devices.
    From the iPad screen, click on the Update button.
    After verifying that you want to update your iPad, the process will begin. It takes a few minutes to update the operating system during which time your iPad may reboot a few times.
    After updating, you may be asked a few questions when your device finally boots back up. This is to account for new settings and features.

  • Device is connected to to a wifi network but does not have access to Blackberry services over wifi connection

    please help me, my blackberry curve has been working perfectly fine (everything network and wifi connection are working great) since i got it but all of the sudden when i connect to our wifi at home i noticed that the wifi logo on the upper screen is grayed out. i checked the manual and it says: device is connected to to a wifi network but does not have access to Blackberry services over wifi connection. i dont  know what to do, i tried the hard reset (removed batt for 1 min while phone is on and put it back in) i also tried to remove the wifi profile and added it back up but still nothing seems to work, my service provider has BB services available on my phone, i can received BBM, pushed email, use FB on my phone using my network but i cant use my wifi to browse.. what should i do? help me please!

    With a PC, the Windows Firewall and/or the anti-virus software will sometimes block an attempted Internet connection.
    Check both applications to see if you can find a "blocked" item and then take steps to "allow" the connection.
    If still no luck, temporarily disable the wireless security for a short period to see if the PC can connect that way. If it can.....then you know it is security related issue.
    See if the PC can connect using a setting like WPA-PSK-TKIP. The equivalent Apple setting would be WPA/WPA2 Personal.

    I have a model wherein when i modify a join(b/w a fact and a dim1 is modified to fact and dim2), i get the following error..
    [nQSError: 15001] Could not load navigation space for subject area SA.
    [nQSError: 15033] Logical table Fact_Marketing does not have a properly defined primary key.
    Why am i getting an error to have a primary key on a fact table..!
    Yet if i define a key, no errors come up. But, it throws error in the presentation services.
    and one more important one is..
    the error it is throwing on a table "Fact_Marketing" is not at all included in the modifications mentioned above..
    only thing i have in common is,
    both the dimensions dim1, dim2 are joined directly to both the facts..
    Any pointers into this issue would definitely help me..

    Sounds like it's not recognising that your table is a fact table. Is the icon showing as the fact table icon rather than the dimension icon against it?
    If not then is your logical join the correct way around? (many end towards the fact table)
    If you're on 10g then also make sure you're using a complex join, not a foreign key join in the business model.

    first step:
    Table EDIDC which contains EDI Control records.
    which stores the partner number,partner functions & message types.
    2nd step:
    take that partners and get deliveries from LIKP table.

    Hi all,
    I am trying to import a 3D image file with SRID: 3401 however my Oracle Spatial db (11.1) does not have it. (ORA-13249: SRID 3401 does not exist in MDSYS.CS_SRS table).
    This is the SRID information: http://spatialreference.org/ref/epsg/3401/
    Is there a way to add this SRID and if so, could you offer any assistance on adding it?
    Also just wondering if there is a reason it may not be in spatial or if there is a Oracle Spatial equivalent for EPSG: 3401 that I don't know about?

  • IDoc from R3 to CRM in status 52. Employee does not have central person

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement wherein I have to replicate R3 HR Org Structure O-S-P in to CRM system. IDocs for Org Unit and Position are getting posted successfully and I can see that structure in CRM system as well. But when I am trying to assing person to that position, the IDoc is not posted successfully. It is is status 52. Below are the errors:
    1) Employee 0000XXXX does not have a central person
    2) Relationship 00X (from 01S XXXXXXX to employee 0000XXXX ) will be ignored
    If someone has already gone through this kind of issue, Please suggest me on how to go about.

    Hi,
    Check the infotype 709 (PERSON ID) of that employee. He/she must be assinged to global ID number which is trully unique within your SAP system (not the PERNR number). If you can't find such number this is probably the case.
