All I want to do is get The sims 3 on my MacBook Air. I know you can get it online I just don't know how. Can anyone help?

You download Origin and then register your Sims 3 games on Origin. You will have to make an account, but it is free. Then in the Origin Aplication, you can digitally downlad your Sims 3 games.

Does it have a SIM card in it? You get the SIM card from your cellular carrier. Did you update the phone or restore it since it worked last? Where are you and what carrier are you on? Where did you get the phone?
It sounds like the phone may be carrier locked and was previously hacked to work on a different carrier. If it was re-set, it would cause the phone to re-lock to the original carrier.

Apple has/had a program in place for the hinge issue on the 1st (and I believe 2nd) generation MacBook Air. Even if the machine is currently out of warranty. I have the 13 inch Macbook Air and I have NEVER played the Sims on my Macbook before or my other laptop. I need to understand how this Origin thing works because I know that it says you need that to play The Sims. The point is that my Macbook does not have a disk drive to put the disk in. Once The Sims 4 comes out, what do I need to do in order to get The Sims 4 for my Macbook? Please help and also by informing me how this Origin process works. Thanks for your support!

EA has no updates on bringing the Sims 4 to the Mac. If and when it does you will be able to download the game to your computer. No disk drive needed.

If an older Air out of warranty, yes, however, only Apple sells genuine Apple batteries.   Aftermarket batteries have many issues I wont list.
It depends on your skills, ifixit.com has many videos on doing things yourself.    While I consider changing a battery incredibly easy, its a "hard" skill for some.

It's not My way. You said you had Windows Only installed on your Mac, NO OS X at all, and how do you get the drivers for it. I explained how to do that. If you want to install Mac OS X back on the system then you will remove Windows when doing that.
Windows can be installed all by itself on a Mac, which is what I think you have now, or you can have OS X first then by using boot camp assistant install Windows in it's own partition and have both OS X and Windows on your Mac. But if you first install Windows, all by itself (No OS X), then the only way to install OS X is to format the drive which will remove the Windows install.
So the question is What Do "YOU" want to do? Have OS X all by itself? Have Windows all by itself? Or have both OS X and Windows on your Mac.

I would refer to the EA Games site and review the minimum system requirements for the Sims 3. They recently launched Origin for Mac which I believe sells Sims 3. Good luck!

There is no limit to the number of iPods you can sync to one computer, iTunes library, or account.
You might want to create a seperate iTunes library for him, perhaps on another user account on the system and move all of his Jazz music over to that new library. Once you have all of his music moved over to his own library, remove it from your own and then resync both of your iPods to clear his music off. This is just one way to do it.

I purchased my first Apple laptop yesterday and while setting it up, I made a typo for the name of my computer (meant to type BloodGrin but typed BloodGrib instead). Sorry for the n00b question, but is there any way possible I can change that?
I know how to change the name for iCloud, but the name of the computer itself if that makes any sense.

I have one .ai file, lets say sample.ai file. located in C drive. so the complete file path is "C:\Sample.ai".
and lets assume the sample.ai file has one traingle shape(3 path type arts) in it.
Now I want to get the 3 path arts (artset) from sample.ai file without opening it in AI.
The function protoype is like below
AIArtSet& artSet GetArtSetFromAFile( ai::FilePath& filePath );
Is there any API like above function in AI? or is it possible to get the art(s) from a file without opening it in AI?

My pc crashed. All my info is on excel in my pc. I managed to print out excel. Can I transfer the printout to my MacBook Air excel?

I have a pc that has the majority of my info. Two years ago I purchased a MacBook Air. Recently my pc crashed and I am able to start it up for very short periods of time. One of those moments I printed out a worksheet in excel. My question is am I able to scan the printouts and get the info into my MacBook Air excel, or by any other means. If you can fire it up long enought to print, surely you can copy the documents to a flash drive in less time. Keep trying.
Scanning spreadsheets and using OCR is going to be tough, nevermind getting any formulas.
If the Hard Drive is not the cause of your maladies, then I would use a USB drive adapter to copy the files to your MBA. The cost of an adapter is around $25-$30. I'd say it beats the heck out of trying to make use of printouts. I use an Apricorn Drive adapter. Since you don't menti0on the cause of the system crash, I can only guess and probability says its the drive though, for which this won't work.
