  • Output determination configuration for SHIPMENT (txn VTO2N)

    Hi Expert,
Please give me the all steps for Output determination configuration for SHIPMENT (txn VTO2N).
Since I am technical guy I am not aware with this configuration, so please consider it and please provide me from scratch.
As I create one output type ZAV7 it is similar to ZA02 existing one.
i copied existing program that is running for ZA02.
AND ASSIGNED THIS COPIED PROGRAM TO NEW FORM i.e. ZAV7(output type).
After that I transfer it to 220 client.
when I run Txn VT02N. for ZA02 the form is coming properly.....but for ZAV7.....
    it gives the message
You have specified an output category which has not been defined according to the output determination procedure.
After this message i am not able to do the configuration.
    thanks
    Babbal

    Hi Babbal,
You have to assign ouput type to the ZAV7.
    Please follow the following configuration:
Go to SPRO> Logistics execution> Transportation> Basic transportation functions> Output control> Maintain output determination for shipments
    Steps-
    1. Maintain condition table or u can use the existing table 017 "Shipment type" or 022 "transport planning point and shipment type".
    2. Maintain access sequence: Here you can use standard access sequence 0001 or 0002 based on the condition table you have maintained.
    3. Maintain output type- Add new entry ZAV7, give description. In general data tab page assign the access sequence you used. Check the access to conditions. For default values tab page- maintain the dispatch time as 4 Send immediately, transmission medium as 1print output, partner function as CR. in storage system tab page maintain the storage mode as 1Print only. In Print tab page maintain the parameter as 8Transportation planning point.
Double click on Processing routines and maintain the program, form entry and form name program.
Double click on Partner function  and maintain medium as 1Print output and functional partner as CR. Save it.
    4. Maintain output determination procedure: Standard procedure will be already maintained V70001 "Transportation Output". Select the procedure and double click on control data. Click on new entries and maintain the step as 30, counter 1 and enter the output type ZAV7. Save this.
    5. Assign output determination procedures: maintain the shipment type, the output determination procedure and output type. Save this.
Please reply for any further clarification.

  • How do you determine resolution for a given print size in LR?

CS3 displays image resolution for a given size. How do you determine what that resolution is in LR for a given print size, so you know whether you should upsize or downsize for optimum print resolution range?

The only way I know of is to work it out. LR and PS make assumptions that are often not ideal (although the differences may not be noticable). Different printers like different resolutions per inch. For example, I once had an Olympus Dye Sub printer that produced awful prints unless the file was exactly 314 ppi. Not 300, 314. 300ppi looked awful. 314 looked amazing. Many Canon inkjets prefer 300ppi files and most of the better Epson's prefer 360ppi. Lambda printer like 400ppi files.
So find out what the printer likes, and in LR enter that number into the printer dialog. I believe the LR engine interpolates the file based on this and the image size on paper you choose to produce a file of the best size.
Having said all that with most modern domestic and prosumer inkjets the difference is pretty negligable.

  • Output determination failed for a single customer(order confirm thru mail)

    Hi,
i n sales order while we save a confirmation mail goes to cutomer.but in case of one customer it failed in output in  edit option it is showing yellow signal and email id also maintained in cutomer master .for all other customer its ok.i m new to this could you plz suggest me and provide me the settings .
    Reagrds,
    Debesh

    Hi Debesh,
Please go to NACE t-code in order to configure output determination, if customer master is ok for output control . in that screen, Firstly you should select V1 output control for order confirmation ,and go in your output condition records for your output control adn create a condition record for your access sequence (ıthink there is no condition record or correct condition records for your specific customer.)
When creating condition records, you should define customer number+ SP- partner function +message trn. medium-5, dispatch time- periodic job, immediate, or etx...
I hope you will solve this proble after output condition records for your spesific customer correctly.

  • How to output from InDesign for best photocopy results?

    Hi,
I need to output a color newsletter created in InDesign to be printed in grayscale for b&w photocopying. Because the newsletter has a few photos and other grayscale images, the InDesign file needs to be printed to my printer at a lower lpi for the best results to be photocopied.
The original is in color because the newsletter is primarily shared digitally. However, the client has a need to print copies on their photocopier for other distribution needs.
How can a file be EXPORTED or SAVED or PRINTED in a way that I can play with the lpi output in order to find the best results with their copier?
    Thanks.

Does this need to be copied "off the glass" on this copier, or does it have a printer interface? Copying halftones is always a problem, and you don't normally get to set the screen frequency for a desktop printer (some postscript printers might allow it) -- in general they only have the abilitly, due to low resolution limitations, to output a very small number of actual frequencies and the odds that you'll find a screen that doesn't create an interference pattern onthe copier are pretty small. IF there is any way to adjust the lpi value, it will be in the printer driver.
If the client's copier has a printer interface, that's the way to go. Make a grayscale PDF (or if it's a monochrome machine, just send it the color PDF and see how it prints) and print, rather than copy, so you aren't re-screening the images.

  • How to output to DVD for duplication

OK, my video is finished. BUT, the file is very large: 5.3 gigs at present. I'm sure that its too large for a dvd disk. So what's the limit for filesize and how can I reduce my video to the necessary size for reproduction?
Also, now that my dvd burner isn't working correctly, I need to send the video to a company that can make copies for me. So my other issue is, how do I output the video from Encore for duplication to DVD? Can encore export all the settings, including menus and content? thanks
My understanding is, a dvd can't be any larger than maybe 4.7 gigs, and that's really pushing it.

Tell Encore to create an image ISO on your hard drive... any other computer with ISO aware software may be used to write a DVD
If you exported from PPro as MPEG2-DVD and your 2 files (audio and video) total 5.3Gig you will need to author in Encore and create a dual layer project for writing to ISO
While some is for CS5 and later, many of the ideas/tutorials in the link below do still apply
The PPro/Encore tutorial list in message #3 http://forums.adobe.com/message/2276578 may help, with more help in message #5

  • How partial inspection is done for a inspection lot & vendor payment done based on inspection result

    Dear Gurus,
In our business 1000 bag material is received in one material document. So one Inspection lot is created.
Now business take randomly 10 bags from that 1000 bag & inspected. The Bags are inspected on various parameters such as Weight , Fabric , Valve Size , Cross Sec Area, Print Quality , Stitching Thread , etc . The values for all this types of parameters are prepared in an excel sheet in a prescribed format.
The Values for each Quality Parameters are then matched with the desired prescribed average figures.
Based on the Values which deviate from "Average" figures , deductions are computed
Logic is 1% for single defect in a bag for 1 parameter . Likewise if more defects is found then add 1% in multiples
    e.g 1% + 5 defects then .05 * basic Raw material cost .
This figure along with proper description is recorded under "Remarks" column of the report format and send to Accounts department for the
      deduction process from Vendor
we need to capture the inspection parameters in system as per the above process.
And please tell me how I configure this process in SAP .
    Thanks & Regards,
    Bubai

    Hi Bubai,
you can create a QM Control Key (which is used to QM View of Material Master) which you have to set the indicator Block Invoice. This indicator is blocked invoice with blocking reason I (I = Inspection) if there is still no usage decision for the inspection lot or the inspection lot is reject.
(SPRO -> Quality Management -> QM in Logistics -> QM in Procurement -> Define Control Keys).

  • How to find changes done for a table

    Hi All,
We have a customized trasparent table , for which  table log is not maintained. There is a change in data for this table and we want to find out who has done the changes and when .
We are using SAP R/3 4.6c with Oracle 8.1.7
Please let us know if there is any way to sort this out .
    Regards,
    BN

    Hello Nayak,
as you told us that it is a customizing table .. there should not be many changes.
If you don't activate the table log ... then you can only go over the logminer of oracle (it is much easier, if you know a timeframe in which the data maybe changed):
    http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/8i/LogMiner.php
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14237/dynviews_1154.htm#i1408263
    => TIMESTAMP
    => TABLE_NAME
    => SESSION_INFO
    => SQL_REDO
    => SQL_UNDO
You will not see which user has done the change but you will find the abap program and with that information you can go to ST03n and have a look which user called this program.

  • How do you determine early from late 2006 MacBooks?

We need to replace the battery in a 2006 Macbook but don't know whether it's an early 2006 or late 2006. How do we determine this (for this purpose as well as any other purpose?)

Every white or black plastic case MacBooks except the Late 2009 and Mid 2010 Unibodies used the same battery. It's easily removable with a coin to unlock it.
Shut down the computer. Disconnect any cords connected to the computer.
    Turn the computer over.
Locate the battery latch on one side of the battery.
Use a coin to turn the latch a quarter-turn clockwise. The battery should pop up slightly.
    Lift the battery out.
    Installing the battery:
Place the right side of the battery into the battery compartment at an angle, as shown below.
Gently press the left side of the battery down until it sits flat.
While holding the battery down, use a coin to turn the latch a quarter-turn counter-clockwise. The battery should lock into place.

  • Output determination routines

    Hi,
I have an enhancement to develop output determination routines for the Output types in the Shipment document to trigger outbound interface to the Freight Forwarder based on the Shipment statuses.
Need to develop 2 routines say 950,951.
    SD Shipment :
    Output Type      Application      Routine Number
    ZE01                           V7                              9XX
    ZE02                            V7                              9XX
    Routine for ZE01.
For the Shipment document number in the table VTTK (VTTK-TKNUM),check status VTTK-STTRG = 1 (Planning completed) then the Output will be triggered.
    Routine for ZE02.
For  the Shipment document in the table VTTK table check the status in VTTK-STRRG = 4 (Loading End) then issue the output.
I have created the routines and wrote the code for ZE01 like below.
    FORM KOBED_984.
*if status of vttk-sttrg(Overall transportation status) is 1,(Planning completed) then outputtype is triggered.
    IF VTTK-STTRG = 1.
      SY-SUBRC = 0.
    ELSE.
       SY-SUBRC = 4.
    ENDIF.
    ENDFORM.
This will work fine.?Or I need to consider the shipment document number anywhere.?NAST-OBJECTKEY will hold the document number.?i need to loop it.?or just the sy-subrc check is only required..?
    Kindly help..
    /Ranjith

    Hi,
If you really want to be 100% sure that your requirements are rechecked before output, you need to use your own entry module when processing NASt output
See e.G. in TNAPR for your output type which print program/ form entry is used and replace it by your own entry module : Then you can check your own rules again and cancel before doing the actual output( i.e. don't call the 'processing' form )
( contra : you need make a copy of standard print program )
Alternatively, you could check e.g. the userexits that are triggered when reading the document data to be printed and set the correct return code ( r.g. retcode = 4 when your validations are not met ). This will stop processing also. ( e.g. GET_DATA_USEREXIT )
The correct names of the variables etc..depend on the print program that you are actually using .
( pro : Could maybe be done without copying standard print program )
Is it still standard print program ?

  • Output determination during delete order

    Hi,
As per requirement, When a unprocessed order(which doesn't have any further documents) is deleted in SAP, it has to update certain Z tables. How can this be achieved using using Output determination/ output types?
How does output determination works during order deletion?
    Thank You in advance.
    Thanks
    Challa

    Hi
To update the Z table, use the USEREXIT_DELETE_DOCUMENT in include MV45AFZZ (see the comments).
For output control, see SAP Note 960611 - FAQ: Output control in Sales and Distribution, question 2. It says that you have the report SD70AV1A to process messages for SO.
Note 701163 - Correction report pricing create a ZZ subroutine in MV45AFZZ with a SUBMIT, so I understand that it's possible alghough I have doubts if it'd be advisable, but you can try to do a SUBMIT to SD70AV1A before update the Z-TABLE, but check it and be careful. For instance, be sure that the message exists in table NAST and so on, to avoid error messages.
    I hope this helps you
    Regards
    Eduardo
PS: Other idea, cleaner than my first anwer. See SAP Note 32662 - User name added to new condition table. Perhaps you can enhance KOMKBV2 with any indicator of deletion and so, it could control the output scheme in a VOFM subroutine. For instance, if you are deleting, T180-TRTYP = 'L'. It's other idea.
