How is the Mailing Agent permit generated on a mail.dat

The business I work for has multiple permits, and they all appear to be associated with our CRID. I can change the Permit Holder's permit as needed, but I can't seem to change the Mailing Agent permit, and I'm not sure where the information is pulled from. The default permit that always appears on our submitted postage statements is our mailing permit that cannot mail First-Class or Non-profit, and I need to change it to our permit that can. At first I was expecting that I could switch this in Postlsoft, but the further I dig, the more it looks like PostalOne! automatically associates a permit number when it sees our CRID or Mailer ID.
Could anyone confirm this or give some assitance? Thanks

Mailing Agent (Preparer). This identifies the organization that prepared the mailing and/or delivered it to the postal service for mailing. This information is linked to the useru2019s login account, and is not represented in the Mail.dat file.
To attach a Mail.dat file to a preparer permit, the PostalOne! System looks at the User ID that submitted the file. The system looks at permits linked to the locations that User ID is also linked to. The system looks at the post office of mailing. The system considers finance number association of permits linked to locations to finance number of post office of Mailing. If the system finds more than one permit possibility, system takes first active (type PI) permit (could be any of the linked locations, not necessarily the one that submitted the file). For this reason the attached preparer permit may not be accurate and the user may not be able to fix it.
In the Mailing Agent block on the Postage Statement, the company name and address information found from the associated CRID in the Mail.dat MPA Preparer CRID shall be displayed. If the Mail.dat file MPA Preparer CRID is used, then the preparer permit number, telephone number, email address, or customer number will not be displayed. The submitter of the Mail.dat file may update this CRID. The owner of the CRID may update the name and address information associated with the CRID. If the Mail.dat file MPA Preparer CRID is blank, then the Mailing Agent block will be filled with the name and address information found from the preparer permit attached to the Mail.dat file (see above). The preparer permit number and the associated company name, address, telephone number, and email address will be displayed. The name and address information on this permit may be updated by the postal clerk and will apply to subsequent Mail.dat updates.

    Any idea how we could have created a duplicate record in the .wsr (walk Sequence file)?   We have a post presort software that errors out because of the dupe.   The Mail.dat specification indicates that there are five 'key' fields (their combination must be unique) for the Walk Sequence file:

    We are writing a wrapper on Selenium . Wrapper takes an input file with a set of "wrapper defined commands" in it. Idea is to use this script across builds.
    Command generally looks like this
         Click OK, clickButton, OK
    Here,
         CickOK --> User's description
         clickButton --> Wrapper command // which internally calls selenium commands
         OK     --> text on the button
    But there are cases in Application where one or more components will have the same text on them in different regions. We want to identify the components uniquely. One way is to go with IDs.
    We have seen few cases where IDs do not remain constant for components but we would still want to identify components with the same name is uniquely identified.

  • How to transfer Mail data from 10.6 to 10.9?

    Upgrading my MacBook Pro from 10.6.8 to 10.9.2, as usual for major upgrades I backed up everything, erased the HD, and installed the new System, then began copying data from the backup. I copied all my email (quite a bit) from ~/Library/Mail on the backup to ~/Library/Mail in the new setup, then copied the "com.apple.mail.plist" file from ~/Library/Preferences to the same location in the new setup. In the past (I've been periodically upgrading OS X since 10.2), this procedure has brought over all my account data etc. to the new setup, so I could just open the new Mail and I'd be right back in business. However, when I opened Mail in the new 10.9 after copying all this data (okay, these data), it showed a blank window and a request to enter my email account(s) information, as if I were starting from scratch. Not only is this tedious, since I have several email accounts in Mail, it's also a bit scary: why doesn't Mail see my 4.75GB of email? Why doesn't Mail see the "com.apple.mail.plist" file? Anyone have any suggestions?

    Well, now I see that all my mail has been placed in another "V2" folder that Mail apparently created in ~/Library/Mail—except for a small number of messages which have been diverted to a folder named "Mail Lost+Found". I wonder why? What does "V2" mean? Seems like an unnecessary complication. Why not just put all the mail in the Mail folder?
    For instance: There's a folder of messages in Mail titled RESPOND, which corresponds to ~/Library/Mail/V2/Mailboxes/RESPOND.mbox, which, drilling down about six levels, contains a bunch of individual message files. There is also a RESPOND.mbox file in ~/Library/Mail/Mail Lost+Found/Mailboxes, which contains a single text file which, upon opening, has a bunch of messages in text form. For some reason Mail decided not to import these messages, instead dumping them into this text file. Why? And without alerting me at all that it had simply unfiled some of my mail that it was supposed to be importing. Most of these are pretty old messages, predating 10.6, whose Mail seemed to handle them properly (anyway, there isn't a "Mail Lost+Found" in the Mail folder in my 10.6 backup).
    I've noticed there seems to be some unhappiness with 10.9's Mail; I can see why. After well over a decade, OS X's Mail program is still losing data? Adding frills while neglecting the basics.

    Now I have installed and configured a new ZESM server (v3.5.0.160) and I want it to manage that workstation. How can I achieve this?

    - first I uninstall the old client then install the new one (v3.5.0.160)
    - the fatal problem: I can't uninstall the old client since I can't provide a valid uninstall password

    - I upgrade the old client by installing the new client (via SETUP.EXE) on top of the old one
    - the fatal problem: this is not supported by SETUP.EXE (it tells me that I must uninstall the old client first)

    Here is another way to determine which Application Configuration is being used to lauch the Business Object.
    1. Goto PFCG transaction.
    2. Enter the Role for ex.. /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE
    3. Go to the Menu tab
    4. Now select the entry ' Shopping Cart' .
    5. Right click on this entry and choose the option Details.
    The details window will display the details of the application which is being used and other parameters like mode etc .
    Add the server and port information in the front of the value in the URL field for lauching the application independently.

    Does anybody know how the episode artwork of a video podcast is generated? (in the list of podcast episodes for example on the iphone)
    I have 2 to 3 minutes video podcasts, whose first 8 seconds are the logo, then moving elements. But out of the last 6 episodes, in 3 the artwork was the logo, and in 3 it was some still from the following part of the podcast.
    What's the principle behind this?

    I have a PDF template designed in Adobe LiveCycle Designer. This template has form fields which needs to be filled with data programmatically. I am using windows application in C#.Net 2005 in which I want to retrieve data from database and merge this data into PDF form in respective fields.
    How this can be achieved?
    I searched a lot & I found that we can process the XDP file generated from PDF to acheive this. I created the XDP file out of the PDF template created in designer. But I don't know how to merge data from database into that XDP file in respective fields and again convert this XDP file back to PDF programmatically. Can anybody help me ? This is urgent.

    I recently fresh installed snow leopard server and I successfully migrated my all mails to the new server (leopard server 10.5.8 to snow leopard server 10.6.2).
    Now my problem is, for some of the accounts all my old email date header shows as they received on mail migrated date.
    Please help me how do I fix it. So my server show the correct date of my old mails.

    I had an issue very similar to this not too long ago and what I ended up finding out is that there are 2 records.
    The first for when the client machine received the email.
    The second date for when the email was originally sent.
    The original sent date was all that I cared about, so on the client workstation, I turned off the "Date Received" column and turned on the "Date Sent" column.
    That fixed the problem for us ... however, I can understand why the two columns exist. Sometimes people send email that are from different times when their system clock is set incorrectly or other various reasons. With Date Received, email will always be in the order in which it was received. With Date Sent, someone could send an email from 1969 and it would end up on the bottom of your email list.
    Just throwing that option out there for you.

    Not sure who would want an XP machine without the installed functional OS at SP3 level.  Even that workable scenerio is bothersome given that XP is officially in full non-supported mode. It's limited to Internet Explorer 9. There are no Microsoft Updates. Nada, Zip.... Because it is XP, which is at END of LIFECYCLE,  and the fact that you did not mention the model # does present a quandry.(1)  XP is 12 years old. How old is that drive?   New Old Stock (NOS)  EIDE and Sata150 hard drives were very prevalent during the XP years.  NOS drives are now more costly  than new drives. But new drives do not work with XP readily.2) New design hard drives are Sata600. These rarely perform kindly with XP systems.  Even the older Sata300 drives require a complicated install modification and floppy disk patches.3) It's only a mere $27 and shipping for a set of install disks (you never mentioned if you had them, which was the norm for an XP OS).  Those disks would exrase the hard drive and re-install the OS.  Purchase here. 4) Your will also need to have downloaded SP1 and SP2 and SP3 and burn these separately onto CD's. If your not upto it, just smash up the hard drive, and carry off the computer to a re-cycler.

    12.List of Suitable Structures (OV9Z) This report is used to identify potential LIS information structures that can be used in the product allocation process.     You will find the Mail data in /Home/Library/Mail/. Address Book and iCal data are in /Home/Library/Applications Support/. The preference files are in /Home/Library/Preferences/ and will begin with "com.apple.".
    Copy the appropriate files and folders to their corresponding locations on your computer.

    Do you mean you don't get notified of new emails automatically (eg. on the Lock Screen)?  This could be because this function is turned off in Settings > Notifications.  It could also be that the email account you use is having problems with its PUSH service, if it offers one.

    I have back, front and CD covers for the majority of my iTunes playlists. WHY WHY WHY Apple has somebody decide to get rid of the arrow in the iTunes artwork window to change the artwork? WHY WHY WHY has somebody also decided that you can no longer highlight all the album tracks and drag multiple pieces of artwork onto the artwork window?
    Like several aspects of Lion these are backward steps.Please show some respect to the massive amount of work that many of us have done on iTunes and leave things alone!
