It is illegal to export the iPhone to Iran. It can not be legally sold into that country. There are no supported cariers there. Apple has no presence there. All iPhones in Iran are gray market phones.

Thank you, I understand, yeah, I knew that, my phone is factory unlocked and I am going home, which is obviously not in the States and I am thinking of buying a local carrier there. However, I still have 2 weeks before I leave and cannnot wait to start using my Iphone 4. I thought at least I could use the mp3 player function. How do I use iPhone apps on my Macbook Pro?

Okay, so I have always wondered if there are any apps that are used regularly on iPhones that can be downloaded onto my Macbook Pro. I tried to find an answer to this and discovered this page http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US which explains there is a way to download previous purchased apps on the computer so I followed the steps and downloaded some. Now this may be a stupid question, but does this just mean that I can now transfer these apps onto another device from my macbook, or can I actually use these apps in some way on a large, macbook monitor. If so how do I do this, and if not- I think it would be a brilliant idea for apple to make this an option in the future!

This may not help however I also tried the same on a iPhone 3GS & 4. My plan was to allow grandson to use it to play games yet prohibit any in-app purchase or random surfing, much like an older iPod would perform.
I did not have luck (or remained satisfied with what it was) so I turned off all radios and settings (Apple ID, email...) and it works with reasonable success with the SIM card in place. My new phones have SIM cards that are sized smaller so I could not reuse these cards & my provider supplied new cards each time.

You will need to "migrate" the itunes data from the Mac to the PC.

No. The iPhone wall adapter supplies 1 amp. Most computers and built-in car usb ports only supply 1/2 amp. So it will take twice as long to charge using those. And, if the iPhone is actively being used (such as using it as a GPS in a car) it won't charge at all, because the battery will be draining as fast as it is charging.

This should be doable with an EEM policy. If I understand you correctly you want to watch for connect time to reach 10000 when it does you want to shutdown the dial peer.
And then enable every 1th day of each month.
The first part you would do with a watchdog EEM policy which periodically runs and checks the output of the show dial-peer voice 2 command.
The second part you probably would use a second EEM script to trigger on a cron timer set for the 15th day of the month, and have it run the commands you mentioned.
