How keep the font and color from changing in cells/rows?

I find it extremely annoying that when I remove the contents of a cell, the blank cell no longer retains the font & color settings of what had been there before. This is a problem I have both in day to day use and in starting a new document on the basis of an old one. Every month I start a couple of new documents for the month, and I use the ones of the previous months as the point of departure, since everything is set up. But each time I have to reset all the colors and fonts (I have different colors for each row), and it is time consuming and annoying. Why can't I just set the values of all the cells containing number values back to zero without changing the settings?? Or can I but don't know how?
I never had this problem with Excel or with the Appleworks spreadsheet.
Another problem I have is deleting a single cell in order to align the rows or columns; again, this was simple in Appleworks, and you have the option of the remaining cells moving up or down or left or right. But I can't figure out how to do this simple thing in Numbers.

From my point of view, you are using Numbers the bad way.
Create a template with the wanted attributes and start from the template every month.
So you will have the wanted features which is not the case with your "reuse_an_olddoc" scheme.

It appears that you didn't search in the good area. Searching in the existing thread (as asked by the Terms of use) would have give the response.

Copy the files to the Mac and then drag them to the iPhoto window, or use the File -> Add to Library command
As for how to connect the phone and the Mac, for that you'll need to read the manual for the phone or seek support from a Samsung or Android (that's the operating system) site.

The way how an Alert looks like cannot be influenced. When setting an image, you cannot indicate where that image should be placed. When setting a certain message text, you cannot influence its colour, its font and its allignment...
The colour and font properties are theme / skin dependent on your mobile. When switching your mobile to another theme, then you will notice that your Alerts (and Forms and Lists, etc etc...) are coloured (titlebar, command softkeys, textfields) according to that theme.

How do I change font and colors back to default?

I have changed the font and color of the text through the tools button and the options button and the content tab. I find nothing telling me how to change the font and colors back to default font and colors. Can you advise me? I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Thanks.

Unfortunately for the default colors has no good reference. But for text it is black (most lower left) color, background is white (most upper left color). Unvisited links is blue (column 8, row 5) and visited link is purple (column 9, row 5).

SQL Server Management Studio has stopped working when changing fonts and colors

I installed sql server management studio 2012 about 3 months ago to test drive and from time to time I'll attempt to change my background color of the TSql editor "In the fonts and colors option under tools"; however, the entire studio crashes
and restarts.
This has been ongoing since I first installed it 3 or 4 months ago, and have waited on posting to a fourm for help, assuming I am not the only one this is happening to I've waited for an update that might fix the issue.
I've got to start on some heavy scripting and that god awful white background kills my eyes. I've got to have a black background or my work day is cut off by about 3 hours becuase of strain.
What can I provide to someone that would help me with this?

Fonts and Color

I very feel very naive and inept in asking this question but here it goes. I would like to change the font and color of parts of my computer but for the life of me I can't find my font installer (or similar named item) or color folder (or, again, something similarly named) anywhere on my hard drive. My only guess is that for whatever reason I must have tossed them. Are there any programs I can download to take care of my fonts and color installation? I really don't want to reinstall from system disks. Thanks for any help you may have for me.

I don't think there is anything you can change in the basic system user interface. But in any app like Word or Mail, it is just a question of going to the preferences or other menus and changing the font/color settings.
For example in Mail preferences there are several choices for fonts in the Fonts/Colors sections. When composing an email, at the top you should have buttons for fonts and colors. Are you saying that these capabilties are missing from your Mail app? If no buttons, try doing View > Customize Toolbar.

Converting fonts and colors in master templates

I'm learning Keynote 09. In order to create a new project, I clicked on the "White" theme chooser.
I'd like to personalize the slides in that theme by changing the fonts and colors. What's the best/fastest way to do this?

I agree Joe that that would be a simple and obvious productive feature equivalent to Stylesheets in DTP.
Unfortunately if there is a theme running through all of Apple's software today it is the absence of retrospective editing ability.
The closest you will get is to start off with your own Master and build on that using default attributes, refer to p224 in the UserGuide. This will carry through styles to +newly created+ material. If you want to change the set of master slides uniformly, it does mean going back to scratch.
You could try providing feedback to Apple why this is obviously such a bad idea. However I think they have made their mind up already, at odds with 25 years of computer experience to the contrary.

Customize font and color in mail....

When I write an email, well actually when I write anything... I use a lot of parenthesis. It's part of my writing style. I have Lion (will eventually get Mt. Lion) and in the mail program when I've written my emails I go back and make all the text in the parenthesis a smaller font and a gray color. Is there a way to set up a keystroke or something so I can do this more easily?

Fonts and Colors for Sub-Tabs

Does anyone know of a way that I can specifiy fonts and colors
for sub-tabs. I have a second row of tabs (sub-tabs) on one of
my pages and I can't seem to find where I can set the font and
colors for the sub-tabs. Also, the sub-tabs do not inherit the
same font and color as the main tabs.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, What I can tell you is that you can either edit the page and
hit the style tab then edit the current style(the one you are
currently using in your page) and change all the banners tabs
(active and inactive) the background color, background image,
etc, I believe the second tab row and any others are by default
the same as the first row.

No, an external drive will not always be mounted. If the drive goes to sleep, it can unmount, or it may unmount for other reasons. As Chris said, confim that the drive is mounted and active before launching iTunes.
