How large an attachment can I send??

I have been trying to send, as an attachment, a video taken with my digital camera and converted to a QT movie. The email comes back as undeliverable. I checked with my isp and was told that I could sent attachments of 25 gb...the one I was trying to send was 17.1 MB. My isp suggested that I use stuffit...I checked my HD and can't find it. Is this unusual.?.I know I've had Stuffit Expander before..is this what I need and where can I d/l it from. Also I'm curious as to why I couldn't attach a file of 17.1 MB. Is it possible that the recipients were able to receive a file that size? 17.1 MB is not a large file.
Thanks for any help/suggestion as to how I can compress the movie.

Most email providers limit the size a message can be, and the most significant determinant of message size is the attachments. I do not believe your ISP understood your question, or you misunderstood their answer, because no email provider would support a message the size you report. MobileMe, for example once only supported messages of 10 MB or less, but now supports 20 MB see:

Is it possible to find how much RAM Flash is able to use, other words how large an application can grow?
Say, I am running my Flex app in Chrome on Windows XP.
Phisical memory available to Windows: 3 Gig.
Using Chrome Task Manager I see that sometimes FP crashes somewhere around 1/4 of total
RAM, sometimes it goes above.

How large a HD can go in my external firewire enclosure?

I realize this is not actually a Mac product, but rather a Made for Mac product, but here goes anyway. I have an older Fantom Drives external firewire drive that I bought for G4 which moved to my G5. It is about 120gb. I am curious how large a drive and what type I can put in this enclosure. Here is the info from system monitor, if that helps:

You can probably google Fantom + Oxford but... my guess is it may not have the firewire bridge support for 48-bit LBA to use large drives.
And it most likely needs a firmware update if possible. When Tiger came out many needed such updates.
Instead, I'd just get a new Oxford 934 FW case from OWC with FW800/400 USB2.
Insures less trouble and with work with current OS.

How I fixed the "can't send e-mail after upgrade to 10.5.6" problem

Like many of you I couldn't send e-mail after the upgrade. After trying everything including re-install combo update, delete and resetting profile, etc. the thing that made it work was:
1. custom set the outgoing server port number to 25 (for Verizon, ask your ISP the output port number)
2. ensure the password authentication is set for outgoing e-mail.
Goto account setting, "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)", select "Edit Server list"
Under "Account Information" make sure "Description" is blank (as suggested in other posts)
Under "Advance Information", select Use Custom Port: type in the port number
On Authentication, select password, type in user name and password as in "incoming Mail Server"
Save it and test if it works.
It seems selection of the default outgoing port has some problems, even though 15 is one of the three defaults.

I just switched to Roadrunner and am having the same "can't send email" problem. I have done what you suggested, but the problem persists. I did note that in my outgoing mail server box it says: smtp-server.wi.rr.com:jzelinger3 (Offline). I'm not sure where the "Offline" is coming from or why it is there. Any suggestions? I performed the following Terminal tests with a tech. support person from Roadrunner:

Depends. If all devices are set for automatic synchronization and they all have sufficient capacity to hold your entire iTunes library, then all devices will have identical content and will continue to do so whenever you add new content. If you're using manual synchronization and/or your entire library won't fit on one or more of the devices, then of course whether or not the devices have identical content will depend on you.
3. How does this affect store purchases? Can I sync multiple devices to the same copy of iTunes and how many times can I sync the purchased iTunes store content to devices? I know it's 5 computers, but what about devices?

Unless things have changed, an iPhone can only be synched to a single copy of iTunes. iPods other than the shuffle can be synched to multiple systems by setting to manual sync.

I am using Report Builder 9i. I've created a report which select from a BIG table (there is 150 columns, and each column is varchar2(150)). I encountered the following problems:
1. When I run the report wizard and click finish for generating the report layout, report builder exit abnormally.
2. when I export the report to a delimited file on my local machine. The file can be exported but it only contains 8 columns of data.
I would like to ask
1. is the BIG table can be supported by Report Server?
2. how do I solve the problem when a report is selecting from a big table?

as i remember well, one instance of repeating frame cannot be lagrer then your body... you can try to use panelling (f.e. not 1x1 but 1x3 physical page in one logical page) or move master-detail relation from your "big" repeating group to each detail groups (queries)

How to make "Attach to email" send to Gmail

Currently, if I select File/Attach to Email, Adobe Reader tries to open Outlook. Similarly, if I click on an email address within a PDF file in Adobe Reader, it tries to open Outlook.
I want it to open Gmail within Google Chrome.
Mailto links and email addresses from other programmes correctly open a new email in Gmail.
What settings do I need to change in Adobe Reader to have the same behaviour?
Using: Adobe Reader 10.1.2, Windows 7 Professional 64bit.

How large a file can be used with Home Sharing?

I am trying to use my pictures folder with home sharing. It is a large folder (over 4000 pictures) with it work? i.e. will my apple tv devise find it and display it on my tv?

It used to be a limit of about 5 AppleTVs per iTunes library with AppleTV 1 but that registered them as devices rather than using Home Sharing.
I suspect but don't know for sure that Home Sharing has to be more liberal as Home Sharing now works to portable devices like iPads too, and if the household had a couple of AppleTV2's, iPhoness and iPads they could reach 5 very quickly.
Having said that we just don't know. There is a limit of sharing to 5 computers with Home Sharing, so it's possible the same applies to individual device types, we just don't seem to know from the support docs posted.
Personally I'd be surprised if 5 was the limit as under the old system if you ran out of 'Devices' in itunes you could set up another computer for the next 5 and so forth. Home Sharing on the other hand just shares to a particular account so you'd see all libraries shared from a particular account on all AppleTVs.

Please ensure that your video is saved on your device and not on your SD card memory. Then follow the instructions below:
Send a video from device memory
From a home screen, select App menu (located in the lower right).
Select Gallery.
Select a gallery (e.g. All videos).

That's a bit excessive. The website http://convert.neevia.com/pdfcompress/ can compress files up to 5 MB in size. You may want to print to PDF single smaller pages, or print the document and scan it one page at a time to PDF, and then use the PDF compress tools to shrink it further.
