How long did it take to get the Sleep/Wake Button repaired? It's been more than a month since I sent it. Is it normal?

I sent my iPhone 5 to get fixed the Sleep/Wake Button and they said me that they could not repair it as the warranty period was over. Then I had to sent it again because they did not correctly read the purchase date. Since this second time I sent it, it is been more than three weeks and I am still waiting. The period of warranty seems to be accepted now but I am informed now that they are waiting to receive a piece to finish the repair. It was my understanding that I would have given a refurbished iPhone in a week or two. Is it normal this long delay? Is there an option to reduce it?

I recall reading a post here that it's shipping from China? And that because of the time difference once it was shipped, people have recieved it a day or so earlier than expected...
I'm not sure if this is always the case, but it does give me a bit of concern... Because I work full time (10+ hours a day), I would be nice to have an "exact" day as I dont have anyone at home to wait for the package and having an exact day that the computer will get to my house will give me time to plan for a day off to wait for my computer...
anyways.. anyone know if the arrival date is usually correct?

If Apple has not received your phone, obviously it can't even be evaluated for warranty purposes. Have you tried calling AppleCare to verify whether they have received the phone or not?

When pressing the sheep/wake button, the iPhone's screen is not turned off if on and does not turn on if off, and pressing and holding the sleep/wake or on/off button does not bring up slide to power off?
And you can't do a reset by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release?
If so and there is no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes, make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby since more than likely there is a hardware problem.

I've brought my MacBook to the Apple Store and the technician confirmed that the display is defective and that it must be replaced. Although, I was told that he has no idea about when he'll receive it from Apple.

We bought Final Cut Studio before we purchased our new Mac Pro. We filled out the paperwork and mailed it in with the CDs, etc. from the program to get universal binary version.
We have some video projects right now, and just wondered if anyone has any experience with how long it takes to get the replacement CDs for the Intel based Mac Pro? We are in the west coast of CA, in the US.

You know why, they get shipped from Singapore (or at least ours did). I sent off two FCP Studios for crossgrade and one standalone FCP5 for upgrade, and it took about 2 weeks for the crossgrades to get back last week, and as of this moment we're still awaiting the upgrade. A little odd as they were posted together, but upon chasing it up, I've been told they "are in the process of processing it". Hopefully it won't be too long, because I want to update all systems between projects next week.

How long does it take to get the "Nonreturn fee" back?

The charger I got with my Iphone didn't work when I got it out of the box, so, I called and of course, they did the normal thing. Charge me the "deposit/non-return fee", sent me parts, I sent them back and the tracking on the package says it says it arrived on the 18th to them, within the 10 days for them to recieve it to get my fee back. However, the status of my repair still says "Return Pending" and it has been sitting there for the past 6 days. I haven't called to harass anyone yet but I wanted to know if this experience is typical of returning parts or if I should call?

Well, only banking business days count, so it has only been sitting there 3 days by that (19th, 20h and 21st). I have no idea how long it takes, but have had credit card refunds take up to a full business week or so to process at times (5-7 business days) from various companies.
Even a simple verification hold can sit online as "pending" on my accounts for at least 3 or 4 days sometimes.
If you are concerned, then call Apple and ask about it.

How can i get a damaged IMac just delivered replaced for free? How long will it take to get the new one?

I just unwrapped my new iMac just being delivered by UPS and after removing all the wrapping I noticed deep scratches on the aluminium front and a big dent on the metal frame surrounding the screen. Obvioulsy it fell in the Apple assembly process or a heavy thing fell on it. I am so crossed as it took already 7 days to arrive and I now need to spend time trying to get it replaced one way or another, I believe this will take weeks before I get a replacement iMac and I am not sure in which state this new one will arrive. Very frustrating experience. I am hesitating to cancel the whole thing.

IF you bought it from apple, you can bring it back to apple for a full refund or exchange. You can also call apple support to request for a mail-in box so you can return the item. if on the other hand it is an apple authorize reseller, kindly contact them for exchange/refund. They will give you an option on whether they will give you a label to help you send back the item to them or take it to the store.

I sent a repair request for my Nano (the one on recall) and I only get 10 business days to get it back to them. I submitted the request on Nov 12th, received and e-mail stating I would get the return packaging in the mail in 1 to 2 days. Still have not received it and e-mail also stated if the item is not sent in the 10 business days then it would be rejected.
So what they wait until the last day to send the shipping package so you lose out on getting your item repaired or replaced?? Your also instructed not to use your own packaging.... This really stinks and if this is the case, I just won't purchase another Apple product, that is bad customer service!

I have the same issue, Submitted on Nov 13, and no box and the 10 days is almost up. I don't suspect anything nefarious, and probabaly just resubmit it after the 10 days are up. I see no other way to contact support about the lack of a shipping box.

So last week a baseball game ran late and pushed a show I DVR into another time slot.
So I ended up only recording half of house on fox.
I went to check it out on the on demand section the next day and they only had the 10/3 episode, not the 10/10 episode.
So it's now 10/17 and the new episode airs tonight, yet the 10/10 episode is still not on demand.
This is ridiculous in my opinion. From talking with friends who have other services, the on demand shows are loaded and available the next day, yet here on FIOS I'm still waiting a week later for a show to be loaded.
Is this the normal service level from FIOS???

Fios VOD is totally dependent on the network provider on when shows are added or removed. Fox, I think someone else said, tends to be a week after an episode occurs.
