How long does express replacement take for an Iphone 4s??

My iPhone 4s broke today, and I called for an express replacement for it. They charged $30 for it, and put the order in.
The representative failed to mention what I'm supposed to do and how long it would take for my new iphone to come in. I also failed to ask him these questions, I dont know why..
So how long will it take for my new iPhone to come in, and what do I do with my current broken iPhone once the new one does come in?

Instead of waiting here for a response, why don't you just call them back and ask?

The US Apple Store says that AT&T-model iPhone 4 units are in stock, which usually means that they ship in a day or so, though shipping at this time of year may take longer. Other resellers may ship sooner or may take longer to ship. As RG said, you'd have to ask whoever you ordered, or intend to order, from to confirm exact shipping details.

Have you connected it to your computer running iTunes? If you have and it's still displaying the connect to iTunes logo, then you need to troubleshoot why it's not being recognized by the computer. As long as that's on the screen, it isn't doing anything.

By about Dec 4th or 5th all of the 27" iMacs that would ship in the first 'batch' had been ordered. Anyone ordering after that time would have to wait for the 2nd production run and there was/is no way to know just when the 2nd wave of iMacs would be ready to ship.
How long has your order been 'Preparing for Shipment'? If it is more than a day or so I can certainly see why you are a bit disappointed and frustrated, I would be too.
The only consolation I can give is that the 27" is apparently a very good machine (mine certainly is) which will give you a lot of pleasure when it does arrive.

My condo just posted signs that fios is available ( the exact verbatum is "serivice will be hooked onto existing customers lines"). What dies that mean? I can not get direct tv because of where my balcony sits so I have nothing. Anyone know how long it takes to install verizon fios?

There are two types of installations used in condos.
Fiber to the unit where they run microduct and fiber to each unit. The ONT is installed in your unit. TV, internet and phone are distributed from the ONT.
A centralized Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) install. A MDU ONT is installed in a common area. TV is delivered over existing coax. Internet is devlivered from the ONT via your phone lines using VDSL.

Once the MDU ONT is in place, getting service is simply a matter of scheduling a tech to come out to cut over your coax and phone lines to the ONT.

I'm trying to set up homesharing on my mom's computer, but it's not working. I type in her Apple ID and password, click create homeshare and at the top it says accessing itunes store and shows the loading bar and nothing happens. I have, just now, about 9 GBs of stuff on my 2G 16 GB and I'd say 8 minutes but I think it's less than that.
I'm constantly switching play lists and changing movies and TV shows as well as pod casts (I won't miss Rachel Maddows if I can help it.) so sync gets a work out.
It's true I've only got 3 apps so if you've got pages that might make a sync longer but not that much longer!
Something isn't working right with your sync.

Replacing Shipment Pending.   How long does it normally take for it to be shipped?

The website says one week, from when they received it. But I was told something different when I called in (was told 10 bus days)
I have been told by a friend that Apple will NOT ship a replacement phone back until they have one available that is the same (model, gb size etc) as the one I sent them, however, I sent them the 3gs, which is quite old by Apple standards. So now I am worried that I may be without my iPhone for an extremely long time.
Has anyone else gone through this?
I can't seem to find an email address or anything like that to ask Apple directly, and because of a nasty cold, i am not able to call them as I have lost my voice, so I thought I would see if anyone here had gone through the same thing, or could direct me where to find the information that I am looking for.

Ipod Touch Update question; How long does a backup take for you?

I have updated my ipod before and the backup took a few hours lets say around 5 or so... and i was just wondering because this is the second time it has asked me to do this for a new patch and i started around 3:40 p.m. and it is now 6:20 p.m..... the progress only has a 11 bars out of the entire bar (windows xp)... so i was wondering is somthing wrong i also want to know how i would disconnect it because it is taking to long and i might have to leave and i want to take it with me.
also i dont usually back my stuff up and it has like 600 mbs of apps, atleast 5gigs of music and a few videos with some pictures. (8 gig ipod touch first gen got it before speakers /cry)
