I got an iPad 4 for Christmas. Today I screwed up my courage and decided to go online and add a tablet to my Share Everywhere service. Went thru all the screens giving them the EMEI #, the SIM card number and all the other requested info. I got a line Area Code/Exchange#, but the rest of the phone number was blank. It's been about 15 minutes and no e-mail confirmation from Verizon, no LTE on the iPad, nothing has happened that I can see. I've got my order confirmation #. Is there something else I'm supposed to do to activate this stuff?
When I bought my iPhone 5 a couple of months ago, everything was done within 5 minutes was very easy. Likewise I had tried an iPad 3 with Verizon LTE on a monthly basis 6 months ago and it set up from my iPad without a glitch. What is taking so long and when should I start to worry?

No, I did not upgrade. The iPhone 5 was my first Verizon product after years with AT&T.
Gina, there was already a sim in the iPad when I bought it. I had already furnished Verizon with all they needed to activate the account, but for some reason it took a couple of hours instead of the 5-10 minutes it had taken before. Oh well, it got activated.

It actually goes pretty fast once you are on a WiFi connection. I found an open WiFi connection at Starbucks and when i got back to my desk the files were all there on the web site. I fond the Use Cellular connection to sync in settings and decided that I didn't need to sync my docs all the time so I will just wait to connect when I can get to a WiFi.
Now I just need to figure out how to sync my contacts. iCloud doesn't seem to play nice with Google contacts when they are on an Exchange connection.

It's taking a long time for the software to download! I'm wondering how long did it take to download for your computer. The Verizon Servicepoint is still on the same thing saying, "Please wait while the page is loaded." But I've waited a long time now and it hasn't changed. Should I keep on waiting or contact Verizon?

I personally and imo others have had problems trying to do it from firefox or chrome, so for the sake of argument try installing it while using either the in home agent (recommended and easy) or by logging into your account at www.myverizon.com and going to the broadband essentials and extra's section (under your bill a banner ad, and under the banner ad account tools. in that section is a link for manage broadband essentials and extra's)

Well, the two questions you've asked aren't really related, but that being said, you should probably plug it in. You're going to have to restore the software to the device via iTunes.

Hi,
I found the answer to this question after doing two podcasts.
It takes about week and half to be fully listed. When you first submit you receive an automated email. Emailed to the email address of your podcast feed. Then your podcast page is created for itune store and you receive another email that it's approved. You should receive this email sometimes two days after you received the first but it still won't be browse able until another few weeks(ie. listed in category). In the mean time don't remove your podcast feed file from your hosting account and don't make changes which will change the link to the feed you submitted.
The only other part I couldn't figure out was why podcasts episodes don't come up when keywords from episode sections of podcast feed are typed in itune search box.

Apple.com has notoriously given very accurate assessments of their ship dates. Keep checking back there for updates. The place to look is in the Store ... find the "Account" button near the upper right.

installing takes about 5 minutes.
