How long for updates and bug fixes usually?
I'm new to Logic and even new to Macs. I'm just wondering how long does it usually take for Apple to release bug fixes and updates to Logic?
Also, how long did Apple take to get around to providing worthwhile updates to Logic 7? Were there substantial updates changed work flow, functionality, etc?
Basically I'm wondering how long until Logic 8 will be more stable and complete?
Logic 7 was never updated so as to provide any significant changes in workflow over its initial release. But apparently L7 so intrinsically broken that they abandoned any effort to fix it. Instead, they developed Logic 8.
L8 has some very obvious bugs, yes. They need to be fixed yesterday. But as usual, Apple is dragging its feet in this regard.
To your question, how long.... well, L7 updates occurred about every 4 months. There's no telling if they'll be on a more conscientious schedule for releasing L8 updates. They only offer end-users one choice: wait and see what happens.

How long for answer to bug report?
I posted a bug report a few weeks ago and evrything looked like it submitted fine.
...but haven't heard anything back about it, and it isn't listed in the bug database.
I used my member name and new email address when I submitted.
I would be encouraging to see something (anything) like "yes we at least have it in a queue of bugs to look at"
Does anyone know how long it usually takes for a bug to show up in the database?

There are a lot of posts with perceived improvements/problems since 1.1.3 was released.
So is there any release notes available regarding the general fixes this release includes?
I don't mean multi SMS info etc instead the info regarding the fixes in the way MS or other software providers release with patched software.
At least that way we will all know whether what is perceived to be fixed has actually been fixed and everything found after that can be raised as a genuine bug.my second attempt at replying as my iPhone decided to close safari!
I think I'm in the majority with my issues usually being minor.
My point is though if release notes for iphone's OS X is as readily available as they are for the mac then people wouldn't have to trawl forums to see if their iPhone should of been fixed with a new update. -

Sorry for being unable to assist you. If you live in a region where you can buy the Alcatel OneTouch Fire E, you may want to consider that device, since Alcatel has offered updates for the phone from Firefox OS 1.3 to Firefox OS 2.0.

I use N900 Maemo PR1.2 Lasted update.
At home i'm create WPA2-Shared-key (Belkin Router) it's worked.
At Friend Home i'm used WPA2-Shared-key (Belkin, Lynksys, D-Link) it's worked no problem.
At Office i can not used WPA2-Shared-key with Lynksys difference model it's not worked, but many co-worker worked with iPhone.
and My Friend use iPhone 3Gs worked with all WPA2 - Shared Key that i'm try with N900.
i try change MAC by macchanger it's a same Not worked.
i'm asking for Maemo.org they toll me it's BUGS -_-"
How long For Fixing and Release??you will not get a response as other then the mods, nokia folks do not really watch this blog. your best bet is the maemo community where you were before.

Hello there; was wondering if for a new apple developers' account, how long for a brand new app review? We submitted ours 6 days ago and wondering how long until the app gets reviewed and once in review mode, how long before approving it on the app store? Our app has been thoughraly QA'd and developed according to the Apple standards and recommmendations. Thank you.
When i uploaded my application it took around 12 working days, If there is any problem in the app, apple team will send you the error to the mail.

It's really weird. I just recently ordered my iBook w/ iPod (personalized from Apple), and both shipped from China. The iPod's taken around 3 days, and it's in Madison, WI, where I live. My iBook has shipped two days ago and apparently it's still in the FedEx depot in Shanghai, so I'm hoping to get it soon! Yeah, I just check the updates regularly like that...

Hi everyone, I am having issues updating a clean Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition 32 bits Service Pack 2, so any help with be appreciated cause I've already tried all my cards for the past 5 days in this particular issue without success.
All I did so far is installing Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise with Service Pack 2, open IE to update, it keeps searching for updates and never stop, after 20mn to 30mn the process svchost.exe start using 100% of my CPU.
I already tried the following scenarios:
1- Install IE8, install the update KB927891 and the Windows Update Agent 3.0 (I already had this one installed). Reboot and run windows update trough IE8 and the problem did not solved.
2- Install those 2 software "MicrosoftFixit.wu.MATSKB.Run" and "MicrosoftFixit50777", open IE to update, it still hangs and continues eating my CPU. This is the output of "MicrosoftFixit".
Windows Update error 0x8007000D(2014-01-06-T-06_06_34A) --> Not Fixed
Cryptographic service components are not registered (This service is actually running successfully) --> Not Fixed
3- I found the following script that would register some DLL, deleting the "SoftwareDistribution" and forcing windows update to solve the problem and nothing happened either.

Herein is the root cause of your issue. A topic that's been discussed in several blogs, forums, and even in the media since September regards a known issue with attempting to patch IE6 RTM via Windows Update.
Aside from that particular issue... browsing the Internet with an unpatched instance of IE6, especially from a Windows Server system, is also asking for a world of hurt.
Might I suggest the following:
Download the IE8 for Windows Server 2003 installer to a thumb drive.
Download the latest Cumulative Security Update for IE8 for Windows Server 2003 to a thumb drive.
Reinstall Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 2.
Upgrade to IE8 from the thumb drive installer and apply the
Cumulative Security Update.
Now your machine is capable of safely browsing to Windows Update to install the rest of the updates (well, maybe, there's also all those other Security Updates from the past seven years that your machine still has vulnerabilites for -- even those seven
years of updates are going to take a Very Long Time to scan for, download, and install).
Why don't you have a WSUS server? -- noting, wryly, that you've posted in the *WSUS* forum.

Invalid, unsemantic, not cross-browser, and subject to quirks mode rendering.
That isn't necessarily a comment on the developers of the system as a whole. Just those who created the HTML and JS. And, who knows, perhaps was improved in later versions.
From my experience with other CMS systems, though, there is sufficient abstraction to fix much of this, if the templates for the HTML and JS can be located.
I'm hoping that SAP is the same, that there are places to look for the HTML that creates major UI components.
This seems useful anyway, since customising is more effective if the templates themselves can be changed at that level.
This also carries over to the IDE - where the sample apps that could be created also generated invalid or unsemantic HTML and JavaScript in my tests. (setting aside my killing my server in my first test of field submission just by pasting a few kilobytes of text in the field )
Anyway, certainly front-end is not a comment on system as a whole, but lightweight and valid HTML makes styling much easier, so if I could figure out how to fix that, it'd be lovely.
P.S. - this forum itself uses "color: windowText" for text areas without setting background-color: window.
Kind of sloppy, easily fixed on my side (where I use a dark UI theme) by overriding the site style. -

Hello to all I hope that if it is the official Lenovo forum, the respectable developers already read it from time to time & some thoughts about Vibe Z2 Pro stock software improvements and bug fixes will be useful for them. Interface1) "Double tap to wake" feature is, probably, the most requested one.2) There is very long response period between the long pressing "Menu" button and the showing of the earlier executed applications list. Even then Settings > Accessebility > [Touch & hold delay] is set to "Shot". I'd better to cut this delay twice.3) "Clear all" function in the the earlier executed applications list sometimes seems doesn't work properly: I press the button, clearance process indicator is rotating, but the list isn't empty.4) The system font is lengthened by vertical axis & it looks worse then the corresponding font on nexus devices. Lockscreen1) Lockscreen crashes when Poweramp with the default settings is playing a song (Poweramp > Settings > Lock Screen > Enable Android Lock Screen = true). Probably, this is a Poweramp bug, not K920 ROM (The Rocket Player with the same functionality works well), but who knows...2) There will be a good idea to realize option "Disable change lockscreen picture by swype" somewhere in Settings, because such an involuntary change take place regularly. Stock Camera app1) As far as I know, Samsung Galaxy S5 has an HDR option for recording a video. It would be cool to implement this feature (moreover, if I'm not mistaken, K920 has the same camera hardware).2) In professional mode I can drag "Photo camera" icon left and this will result in appearance the five curves of settings (like a Solar system) - just as in Nokia Camera for Nokia Lumia phones. Bute there are two shortages in this (generally very good) idea.2a) In Nokia Camera the "Photo camera" icon is moving left just under the finger while being dragged, while in K920 Camera app "Photo camera" icon is moving only after dragging is finished & the finger is moved away from the screen. Such a behaviour looks a little bit unnatural.2b) In Nokia Camera I can show the single curve for the tuning of a single parameter by pressing a corresponding button on the center of the top side of the screen. The K920 Camera app doesn't have such an ability at all (or I failed to find it).This video illustrates the problem.3) It would be very good to add the next options: disable shutter sound, change photo resolution (5M, 8M, 16M) and aspect ratio (16:9, 4:3).4) The Zoom function in video recording mode works like simple pixelization, not zoom. Neither Lumia 1520, nor HTC One X (my other phones) doesn't zoom in video mode like K920. The two videos - about Lumia 1520 zoom & K920 zoom illustrate the problem. This is the more so strange, that in photo mode K920 zoom is apparently better than the Lumia 1520 one. Sound1) It would be great to realize step-by-step volume increasing for incoming calls. I'm a newbie in photography, but noticed, that slightest chage in camera position result in disappearing such artefacts as on the photos above. So it can be result of a light sources mutual position and some camera hardware aspects.
