How long is the first charge for the first time?

Hello everyone! I've just got the newest iPod Touch and I was wondering for how long does it need to be charged for the first time.
Thank you for your help and best wishes for these holidays.

Just charge it until it is fully charged. Not reason or requirement to charge more.

I have a ipad 4th gen with the lightning charging port. I have realised how long it takes to charge and the poor battery life which means I can't take my ipad anywhere. Is there a case that is available that will charge my ipad? I know they are out there for older iPads with the 30pin charger but I can't find one for the lighning 8pin charger.

I don't know what you mean by "poor battery life". If your iPad is working properly you should get 9-10 hours of life.

13 minutes is 1 GB. You may run out of battery first.

  • How to contact someone in charge for the local support (croatia)?

    Hello everyone,
Recently I needed assistance for my PowerMac G5 Quad. It's a problem with the water-cooling unit (but this is not the point). Cutting short: the first apple authorized service center hasn't found any problem suggesting that I should "let it break" to pinpoint the real problem (sure.. let's melt the whole cpu to find later that only a sensor was fried...). In the meantime, when I was asking to order a copy of Leopard (to replace Tiger on the G5) they offered me pirated software. I refused, took the Powermac back and I'll never be back there.
The second technician (another AUTHORIZED reseller): Took the quad. Said that all was normal with the hardware test. When I said to him that I also tryed that (I'm not a newby) and that he should try the thermal calibration using the diagnostic disk (which every technician should have)... at the phone he sounded very confused. I had to explain to him what a diagnostic disk is and why is necessary to perform a thermal calibration everytime the cooling unit or the cpu's are disassembled for repair or replacing.
Took back the quad. No improvements.
I don't want to waste fuel on another trip to a new technician. I want to contact somone in charge of the customer support in Croatia to give informations about those reseller and their unbelievable support. Noone else have to be serviced by such incompetent technicians...
.... so the question is very simple. How can I contact someone in charge for the customer support here in Croatia or maybe in Italy? I speak italian, a good english and a good Croatian, so i don't mind to speak by phone to someone here in Croatia, in Italy or in an English speaking country.
    Thank you for your help!

Apple has no office in Croatia, so you would need to call Apple support in another country. Their phone contacts can be found here:

You can try asking to speak with someone in Customer Relations, but I don't know which countries have representatives.
    Regards.

  • Is it safe to use the iPad charger for the iPhone too?

Is it safe to use the iPad mains charger for the iPhone too or should I have to take both mains chargers with me when I travel?

Yep. Apple even states it is fine for all iPhone models:

  • How long does a tick last for the Tick Count (ms) VI in LabVIEW?

I'm trying to compare the timing performance between a VI implemented in LabVIEW and another VI implemented in LabVIEW FPGA module. If I use the Tick Count in both VIs (every one in their own module), I want to know how long does a tick last in LabVIEW standard (in the computer)?
    Thanks

I have this doubt because I read that a tick lasts 55ms in the following source:
    http://books.google.com.mx/books?id=en1GKs2huTcC&pg=PA33&dq=tick+count+(ms)+labview+55+milliseconds&...
My tick count provides me better results than the hardware results, which is impossible because this is the same algorithm. If I consider the 55ms time, then the FPGA is really faster.
                              Hardware          Software with                  Software with
(ms)        1 ms Tick Count (ms)     55ms Tick Count (ms)
    Algorithm 1          49.48                   1.5552                               84.535
    Algorithm 2         0.8875                  0.032                                 1.87
    Algorithm 3         0.1756                  0.0241                               1.43
    Algorithm 4          0.27                     0.27                                   1.32
    What's your opinion?
    Thanks again
I think you are misunderstanding what the value of a "tick" is.  From what I gathered from reading your link (which I couldn't get to from your post, but accidentally ran into on a search) a tick of the OS clock."  Curiously, though - why 55ms?  That was mentioned as the tick of a Win95/98 OS!
I guess you can say that the it returns the value of the next "tick" of the OS clock and returns that value in ms.  So, the value of a tick varies from OS to OS.  In Windows 95/98, for example, you can only look at the OS clock every 55ms or so, but it still returns a value that represents ms.

  • What is the correct charger for the new iPad Air 2?

Our new iPad Air 2 came with a 10Watt charger. Went to the apple store to get a spare. The Apple folk insist the 12 watt unit is what it needs  - sold my will two. Just trying to figure out which is correct for a new Model= 'MGKL2LL/A' iPad Air 2.
    Thanks

    Skydiver119 wrote:
Either will work. Many people say they received a 10W with their iPad, but it will charge just fine with a 12W. Previous models were shipped with 12W chargers, so no one really knows why the 10W was put in with the Air 2.
I would guess the Air 2 got a 10 Watt Charger, because the battery in the Air 2 is a bit smaller than the battery in the Air.

  • I upgraded to iPhone 4s from 3g, can I use the car charger for the 3g with the 4s?

I have a new 4s and wish to use my existing car charger with the phone. The cables that came with the 4s look like the cables for the 3g and ipod I have, but appearances can be deceptive. Just wish to know if I have to buy a new charger or will my existing one work?

    It should work just fine.

  • Why is the battery charger for the magic mouse and wireless keyboard not included in the package when I bought my iMac?

I was not given a choice or let known that I would receive wireless keyboard and mouse that requires charging. If I had known earlier I would have asked for non-wireless devices or bought the charger on spot.
The charger should've been a given and not be considered as a separate accessory that requires to be bought. This is the same as having bought an iPhone but not given the charger.
I am very disappointed with Apple regarding this matter. I hope it'll be resolved soon.

Oh, okay now I see where you're coming from. Sorry, I didn't know that they provided us with non-rechargeable batteries instead.
Well in that case, they should've provided us with rechargeable batteries instead of the alkaline ones. I mean, the sole purpose of having wireless mouse/keyboard is the purpose of convenience. Having to replace the batteries (that don't last very long from my experience) does not seem convenient to me.
What's more, by providing users with non-rechargeable batteries is not an environmentally friendly choice as this results in an increase in disposal of hazardous waste. I'm bringing this environmental issue up because they have an environmental policy in their company, and on their website they talk about their environmental resposibilities which is quite contradicting as shown in their actions, don't you think?

  • How long does it normally take for all of your music to load on the new computer when you are home sharing?

I am trying to load my music on my sisters computer. How long does it normally take for the first time to download? Her computer has been "Checking for new purchases," for about an hour now.

10 hours does not seem right at all. Should take several minutes at best. The entire OS installation is under an hour. Post your issue in the FCS forum area here:

  • If the ipad charger charges the iphone faster, why didn't they Apple just make the same charger for iPhone?

If the ipad charger charges the iphone faster, why didn't they Apple just make the same charger for the iPhone?

Apple does not do this at all anywhere at all.
The carrier is the ONLY one who will unlock an iphone.  No one else.
    AT&T does NOT unlock iphones.
    Sorry.

  • How much will i be charged for this album pre-order

4 of the songs for ultraviolence have already been released. how much will i be charged for the rest of the album if there are 11 songs remaining?

You will initially be charged for the 4 tracks that are already available - they will be at the full track price. When the rest of the album is released (assuming that no further tracks are released in the meantime) you will be charged the album price minus the cost of the 4 tracks already released.
So if it's the Deluxe version and you are in the US then you will now be charged 4 * $1.29, and on Monday when the rest of the album is released you will be charged $9.83 ($14.99 - 4 lots of $1.29) - if it's the non-deluxe version then $3 less.

  • Satellites L650D: how long do i leave it on charge for the first time?

just recently bought this computer Toshiba Satellite series L650D and was wondering how long do i leave it on charge for the first time on power????
    Please help

    Hello
If the battery is fully charged, the battery LED will switch the color. Depending on your notebook it will switch from orange to white for example. After this the battery is fully charged.
The charging time is also depending on the battery, AC/DC adaptor and if the notebook is truned on or off. So nobody can exactly say how long it takes but the battery LED will it show you. :)

How long the iPod 5 should be charge for the first time?

It is best to just make sure it is fully charged. There is no problem charging it and using it at the same time too.
