Yes you will deffinately need to contact them........I think their warranty policy is different.....something closer to 1 yr.

    I have a MSI GF4 Ti4600 128mb DDR card was the one most stable cards I had. It is installed in the wifes machine that gets basicly used for a e-mail slash QVC.com shopping machine.
    Yesterday the system would not boot at all. I swapped out all the parts and the VC is the reason for the no-boot. I can install another card and the puter works fine, and the Ti4600 will not boot in any other machine.
    The card is less then 1 year old and realy shouldn`t just die, heck she only has a 800 duron in there on a k133 platform! :p
    What is the warranty term and how do I get this repaired replaced if it is in warrenty?

    Realy, only the MB combo is light wieght. It has a 400 watt King brand Power supply, but it has no CD-ROMs, floppies, anything other then the MB and one HD, and one case fan plugged into it. And it worked when I put in a fx5900 to test.
    One other machine I tryed has a Allied 400 watt PS with 3 CD-ROMS, floppy, RAID, 4 case fans...ect...and it didn`t work in there either. 3rd machine I tested it in has a no brand 500 watt power supply and is nothing more then a MB, HD and VC.
    Is there any test I can do to this one?? Anything that might make it work? Or is it bonked?
    Also, I have been searching a bit, this one had a purple board and the rest I see have the red board...what is the diffrence??

    As I wrote Apple will diagnose an Apple product even if it is out of warranty for free. That should be your first step to find out if the problem is the battery or something else.
    Once you have Apple telling you a 7 month old battery is defective (if that turns out to be the case)  then it becomes a game of horse trading. You'll need to speak to the tech and when he tells you there is nothing he can do you will need to speak to the tech manager and when she says most likely there is nothing they can do you go to the store manager, etc.  It is unlikely (though possible) that they will give in easily you need to be firm, polite and let on that you're willing to accept a partial reimbursement.
    So again the first step is to find out what is wrong.

    The warranty/support, on that phone, has expired. But, it originally came with a one-year hardware warranty.

    I bought my laptop on 2007-07-06 and few days later I have noticed that my RTC battery isn working properly, so I have returned my laptop to Toshiba on 25.07.2007.     As you know it is not easy to say how long time the repair will take and I presume it is not the same by every authorized service partner. Some of them do this faster and some need more time because they have no parts for replacement.
    If you are now in PL (Poland I suppose) it will take a little bit more time as usual.
    BTW: why you didnt try to load BIOS battery as described in Users Manuals? If I am remembering well the loading time is about 48 hours. If you want you can check it in Users Manuals.

    I'm nearly ready to pull the trigger and get my first MBR 15 inch, but something keeps nagging. The Battery. THE BATTERY. Yes the battery is relatively nice, and one might think insignificant in the grand scheme, but IT'S GLUED INSIDE THE COMPUTER, and basically IRREPLACEABLE unless you pay some ridiculous cost, my guess is around $400. So how long is the battery expected to last? 4 years? No battery lasts 4 years. It's mind-boggling to me why Apple decided to glue the battery. After 2 years of moderate to heavy use of your MBR you're just expected to fork over $400 for a new battery? A NEW BATTERY?!!!!! Realistically how long will the MBR battery last before it gives up the ghost and has to be plugged in 24/7?

    I`m `propping` up this thread to to the top of the forums again as it`s been three months and not a single community member or Apple support personnel have replied, which I find discouraging.
    I`ve tried everything - both the iOS device(s) and Apple TV have been upgraded (albeit reluctantly) to the latest versions, since iOS 7 looks like crap compared to iOS 6. Both use the same WiFi network. Bluetooth is set to `off`, as per the online tutorials on the Apple Support page.
    I also tried shutting all of them down, including the router, waiting 30 seconds and turning the router, then the Apple TV then the iOS device on sequentially with 30 seconds in between each, again as per this discussion forum, and still nothing.
    Why can Apple not make a technology, such as AirPlay, work with greater than 10%?
    Any other ideas?
