How long need Itunes to release a Podcast ???

Hi everybody,
last week Friday i sent my Podcast to Itunes.
On the Podcast FAQ they say, it takes to 5 Days to release a Podcast
on Itunes.
Now it's more than 5 Days.
That's my first Podcast and my question is, is that normal ?

I opened another discussion, but maybe you will see this here.
So .... the Podcast is released, i did some Chapters in it, everything works fine ... but
When I download this Podcast on my IPhone, you can't see the chapters ?
Why not ????

I've been able to use the iTunes Music Store, and its podcast directory, to locate existing podcasts, and load them into iTunes. But I can't seem to figure out how to point iTunes to a specific podcast that is NOT in its directory. In other words, I have a URL for a particular podcast (not listed in the iTunes directory), and I'd like to use that URL from within iTunes, to allow it to locate the podcast files, subscribe me to them, download them into iTunes, etc. How/where do I do that?

Use the Advanced menu and select Subscribe to podcast. Then enter the url. Presto!

How Long For Fixing and Release WPA/WPA2 on N900?

I use N900 Maemo PR1.2 Lasted update.
At home i'm create WPA2-Shared-key (Belkin Router) it's worked.
At Friend Home i'm used WPA2-Shared-key (Belkin, Lynksys, D-Link) it's worked no problem.
At Office i can not used WPA2-Shared-key with Lynksys difference model it's not worked, but many co-worker worked with iPhone.
and My Friend use iPhone 3Gs worked with all WPA2 - Shared Key that i'm try with N900.
i try change MAC by macchanger it's a same Not worked.
i'm asking for Maemo.org they toll me it's BUGS -_-"

How long does itunes:new-feed-url take to completely change my podcast page?

I've used the itunes:new-feed-url to change my podcast page, but I'm curious how long it takes. I have a new episode up, but the podcast page located here doesn't show that third episode, even though the new feed as well as 301 redirect is in place.

The Store won't redirect to the new feed at http://www.tripodbroadcasting.com/givethatsomethought/feed/ until the next time it checks the old feed. You posted the latest episode only today: it usually takes 1-2 days for new episode to appear in the Store as it caches feeds and visits them in rotation to check for changes. When this happens it will transfer to the new feed. Subscribers are already redirected to the new feed and see the third episode.

How long does itunes take to review a podcast...?

I setup an rss feed for podcasting on ourmedia.org, my files are stashed over on internet archive and my rss feed seems ok yet apple has not posted the files to podcast directory and its been almost two weeks. Any ideas?

I heard it takes 2 - 3 weeks. Did they get back to you? If so...how long did it take. My show is on iTunes...I can download it, but I can't find it in their listings when I search for it. Any idea why I can't find it?

How long is normal for iTunes Match to go?
I seem to have it go through and recyle umpteen times and has now been going for over 20 hours.
This is on a base of about 11,000 songs and darned if I know whether my tv programs are included or not.
It seems to go thorugh steps then add a few hundred more songs each pass
Very confusing and challenginng to wait for it
How much 'updating' can it do?
One other killer quiestion - if you delete purchased songs from your machine (as in when your storage space is getting too big and costing too much?) - how do you permanently remove something from your database?

I am not surprised to hear it is taking a long time. I signed up when Match first became available. It took several days before it finally finished. I had maybe half as many tracks as you. Also, prepare for this ahead of time: Even after it finishes there will still be some tracks that do not match. This still happens even though iTunes Match has been around for a year.
To permanently delete a track from iTunes Match, check the box in the delete confirmation that says "Also delete this item from iCloud".

I have a password lock on my iTunes account so that my daughter can't download any paid apps without my knowing. She can't even update her free apps without me entering my password...or so I thought.
Well, after I entered my password, she went in behind me and downloaded $34 worth of music and videos that were charged to my debit card. Is there a way to log out of iTunes? If not, how long is the log-in active? That way I can keep her iPod in my possession until after the time period is up.

I blocked it to keep it out of their directory when I was uploading the backlog of episodes - I didn't realise it was the same setting at the time.
I just checked the feedburner feed again - it is <itunes:block>no</itunes:block> on it.

How long is iTunes taking to accept?

I have sent my podcasts into iTunes several times before and have been accepted, only to cancel when I found problems on my side. It took only a few days to go through the process then. This last time I submitted on May 30, received back the notice they were reviewing on the 31st and have not heard since. Are they on vacation? Is this normal?

Alejandro, I see your other posts were deleted. Your best bet is to get on Skype, and call the store directly with the help of someone who can interpret English for you. In the future, remember this is a user to user forum that is public. As a result none of us work for Apple, and exposing your order number on this board may make it possible for someone to steal your order who is unscrupulous. You may need to give yourself anywhere from 2 days to a month depending on supply and how recently the model in question was refreshed.

I bought a new computer and need to sync my iphone with it. I'm getting a msg that it has 17+ hrs left to download itunes......seems too long and wonder what I'm doing wrong. thx.

Try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

How long before iTunes shows new episodes?

What's the typical delay between updating a podcast and the new episode showing up on iTunes Music Store? I've only put up a couple, but it seemed faster than 24 hours. My latest episode is now at the 13-hour mark and hasn't showed up yet. I've checked my RSS feed several times and its valid.
If it doesn't show up in 24 hours, what should I do?

I would just site tight for a few days. Not long ago it took as long as two weeks to get your show into iTunes. I think they may still do manual screening so that can take time.
If in a week it's not in there, then you can look at some possibilities. In the meantime, try validating your feed at:
www.feedvalidator.org
Make sure that your feed is clean. This could be the problem if you have errors.
