Ok here aremy recommendations for your consideration:
Goto the “apple “on your top menu bar. Click 1stoption (About this Mac) a small screen will appear
andclick on “More Info...which will take to a large another smallscreen with Mac Book Pro in huge
letterslike this: MacBookPro.
Nextgo the “Systems Report” button: press.
NextUnder “Hardware” on the left you'll see “Power” click that.Volia the battery info
Nowlets do an analysis of the info: here's mine a 2 mo. Old 17” MBP:
ModelInformation:
SerialNumber:     ****************** (not shown by me)
  Manufacturer:     DP
  DeviceName:     ******************(not shown by me)
  PackLot Code:     0
  PCBLot Code:     0
  FirmwareVersion:     406
  HardwareRevision:     1
  CellRevision:     1102
  ChargeInformation:
  ChargeRemaining (mAh):     7806
  FullyCharged:     No
  Charging:     Yes
  FullCharge Capacity (mAh):     8488
  HealthInformation:
  CycleCount:     17
  Condition:     Normal
  BatteryInstalled:     Yes
  Amperage(mA):     2131
  Voltage(mV):     12534
OK under“Charge Information” you see my MBP currently at 7806mAh (mstands Milli
which is 10 tothe -3 power) which translates to 7.806 Amp hours in non-techiespeak. As you see on mine Full Charge Capacity is 8.488 Amp hours.
Ok under healthyou see my cycle count is 17. Your very low cycle countreflects that you are not “conditioning” your battery by runningit on battery till 5 minute warning or going to sleep and then fullyrecharging it! You've had it ~18 mo. And your dooming yourbattery to a short life. Condition your battery for a long life.
Please notethis is a super battery 2.131 Amps @ 12.534Volts which Apple says will last approximately 7 hours. Real world experience is significantly less with Lion OS installed.

  • How long can I expect the battery to last when listening to audio books

My batteries seem to lose power quickly.  How long should I expect it to last when listening to audio books or radio?

May 30 hour with audio book since that is the same as music.
Radio is a lot less since that requires wifi. Maybe 10 hours

  • How long should my macbook pro battery charge last before needing to be recharged

My macbook pro goes from 100% fully charged to zero in one day of light use.  Is that normal?  It seems to hold a charge for less time now than in the past.  Do I need a new battery?  Thanks, Gina

Watching video depletes the battery faster than typing a letter. My MBP battery will go down from 100% to about 65% (sometimes down to 50%)  in about 3 - 4 hours if I do nothing but browse this site and possibly watch a short video. It also depends on the screen brightness settings and a host of other things. If you only use it for 2 hours, then there is a problem and I'd take it to your nearest Genius Bar for a diagnosis.

How long should I charged new battery in MacBook pro?

You can leave it plugged in all the time if you wish.
Once your Macbook is fully charged, it stops charging.
You can see this if you click on your apple logo, about this mac, more info, system report, power.
In any event, it is also a good idea to use your Macbook under it's own power to keep the battery in optimal condition.
As much as possible, try not to fully discharge your battery.  It could do more harm than good to your Macbook.
Good luck and enjoy your macbook

Update2: There is something very wrong with wireless on mountain lion recovery. I don't know what the problem is, but this link may explain:
    http://osxdaily.com/2012/08/10/os-x-mountain-lion-10-8-1-beta-released-for-dev-t esting-may-include-wi-fi-fix/
Wireless recovery would start out with over 25 hours estimated and kept on failing. It turns out to be a two step process of downloading a few Mbytes then a 4Gbyte .dmg file, but I couldn't even download the Mbyte file. I bought the thunderbolt to gigabit ethernet adapter, plugged it in, restarted recovery and download of a little more than 4Gbytes took less than an hour. My limiting factor was probably comcast home internet rate of 12Mbps. The wi-fi wireless connection should be able to do over 100Mbps, so wireless shouldn't be much slower than wired, except wi-fi wireless is broken. Now that ML is installed and updated, wi-fi seems fine now, as I am using it right now, but I haven't tried downloading a big file yet.
Don't use wi-fi wireless for Mountain Lion recovery.

How long iPad 2 3G WiFi battery can last exactly?

I'm not sure whether or not you're asking directly about a Wifi battery but, if you are ... there isn't one.
If you're asking how long the battery will last, exactly, when using wifi .... no one can possibly tell you that. However, the performance specs put out by Apple say that you should get a nominal 10 hours of use in 'normal' use, and normal for most people would mean wifi ON in Settings and probably connected through most of the day.

  • HT4623 how long should a fully charged battery last ?

Hi,how long should my iphone last after I have fully charged it?

Depends on how you use it...  2-3 days for light users, 8-12 hours for heavy users.

  • How long should a new replacement battery last on a Macbook 13 inch 2008?

It's in the the title I guess. I have a 13 inch Black MacBook from 2008. My Battery was still giving me nearly two hours and the cycles was well into the 900s. I'm OCD about taking care of it. So what should I expect out of this new battery? The same performance? When I first got this Macbook it could nearly get me through a whole 7 hour school day on one charge. I don't need that anymore but I would appreciate some where close for the money I paid for the new battery.

The new battery should behave very much like an original battery...that said, every battery behaves a little differently so be flexible in what you see.  If it lasts much less time, then have it tested.  But overall, should be reasonably close to the same behavior.

  • How long should I expect Mountain Lion to download?

I just purchased Mountain Lion. In Launch pad is says it's downloading. What is the typical download time?
What will happen after it's finished?
    Thanks!
    Billy

As Kurt Lang points out, the full Mountain Lion installer is a very large download and the connection you have determines the limit in speed over which you download rate won't go. But how fast the Apple servers deliver it may be less than that limit, depending on what else they have to do, so it may take longer than the theoretical minimum time. (When iOS 7 was first released, my Mac OS installer download speed dropped to the KBs range on a 50Mbs line.)
Try this: run Activity Monitor in the Utilities Folder and click on Network button at the bottom while the download is proceeding. You'll see the current rate at which you're actually receiving the installer file; it may be lower than your theoretical maximum and it may also not stay constant for the entire download.
    Nothing is ever simple...

  • HT1175 How long should I expect my Time Capsule to take to back up my MacBook Pro for the first time?

Since I purchased my Time Capsule, I have not been able to back up my mac. The backup process begins but it says it will take 2 days. 2 days later it is frozen and it never finishes. I gave up

This will obviously depend on how much it has to back up - and the first always takes longer.
I have just posted that my TC reported it would take over 3 million days!  I have had similar problems with 2 days and then no finish
Are you using a flash drive in your MBP?

  • For how long should my MBP 13" battery last, in normal usage?

I just bought a brand new Macbook Pro 13" on 11.Oct.2011, and there is a concern about the battery life of my MBP, I can only use it for approximately 4-hours. My question is "Is it common or there is a problem with this?" Because, Apple.com advertise at least 7-hours of surfing wireless.

  • How long should I have on battery life?be 2-

I have been word processing for less than one hour. My battery is at 58%. Is this normal?
I had the computer in the store because Apple had sent me faulty RAM when they installed it, then said they replaced it and didn't, and then finally they did. And they were going to check out the battery. They said I was in normal range.
But shouldn't I get more than 1 hour, isn't it supposed to 2 or 3? I got this computer brand new in March.

  • How long SHOULD battery last?

I've read 100's of posts on this and have yet to get an answer--how long should I expect my battery to last when my ipod is on, with screen on (auto lock on NEVER), doing nothing, no apps open (actually I removed all apps for this test), wifi OFF, location OFF, everything possible OFF, so just the screen on. This is ipod touch 8gb "3rd" gen, has os 4.2 but problem was same before with os 3.1. I get about 8 hours before battery dies. Is this normal? Warranty is just about up and I need to decide whether to pursue this with Apple. Thanks!

Not as long as if you let the screen turn off. As lllaass mentioned, the screen uses a lot of power and as far as I know, when Apple test an iPod's battery time, it's on the assumption that you do not leave the screen on. Their figures would be based on that and it's largely the reason why watching a video has less battery time that listening to audio.
So if you're not watching video, the battery will last a lot longer if you set the auto lock to - say 1 minute. More to the point, if you're not looking at the screen, why leave it turned on?
My own choice is for the auto lock to kick in after 1 minute. That way, - if I'm browsing the music section, or reading a web page or browsing my Apps, my constant navigation around the Touch keeps the screen on. If I stop doing that and simply listen to music, after 1 minute the sreen turns off and battery time is extended.
You say that you have yet to get an answer to how long the battery should last. If you check the technical specifications for the latest iPod Touch, http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/specs.html you'll see that playback time for video is 7 hours and playback time for audio is 40 hours from full charge. So if you have auto lock on never, I suggest that 8 hours is probably reasonable since it's the virtually same as watching video.
