how long should it take to download the 10.10.3 update. i'm trying to do this and itunes is telling me it will take 22 (twenty-two!!) hours. seems crazy.
(this is for a macbook pro.)

How long to download Lion

I currently have snow leopard and have updated both by iphone, ipod, and ipad to the new OS5. My broadband speed is not great, seeing as it took nearly 5 hours to update my ipad anyone have any ideas how long it would take to update the Lion.
My only other options is to take my my 27" imac to my local Apple store which is not easy due to size, weight and the store being in a shopping centre and not having easy access.

Yes, very, very long. If you have the loading bar under your App Store Icon in the Dock it should be doing it's thing. If after about half an hour there's no progress, restart and it will resume from where it left off.

the download can't be more than 9.5gb because that's the space needed to install. so, if you have a 1mb/s connection that would be less than 3 hours.

I am downloading Star Wars Knights Republic, and I have a progress bar in the Launchpad Icon.
Is there a way of setting up the app store so a percentage or remaining time is displayed instead?
