Good day every one! May i ask if any body knows how long will  it take to install ios 7.0.6 on my ipad mini? Help lease.....

I've just done the update directly on my iPhone from 7.0.4 to 7.0.6 and it took 15 minutes from start to finish - on my iPad yesterday it was similar.
However you do the update, directly on your iPad or via your computer's iTunes (via your computer will be slower), then copy your purchases over to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases and take a backup of your iPad - and preferably copy any important documents and/or photos off as well so that you have your own copy of them (the update should go smoothly, but it's best to be safe)

    mine took a long time lost patience and rebooted it and then I started from the begining
    so guess I made it take even longer and I did it over usb

    Are you updating over the air on the device, or using iTunes on your computer? The over the air update is about 130 MB, so even on a slow connection it shouldn't be more than a few minutes.     I have purchased iCloud and it is now four days since I started to install the software.   iCloud appears to stop installing when my password protections comes on.  I have therefore taken that off until the software is installed. 
    How long should it take to install?  I have over 5686 records to bring matched.  The software appears to have checked 5685 and cannot seem to get beyond that number,  I have stopped the software and restarted it once but I still end up in the same position.
    I also started to transfare some images in to photostream and thought this might have been the problem. However photostream has completed the installation of my images now but iCloud still continues.
    Can I have some advice please.

    iTunes Match can initially take a very long time to scan your library. Using other iCloud services such as photo stream will not have an effect on iTunes Match.
    It should eventually move onto the last song and finish the scan, although 3 days is a very long time for it to be stuck. My library is 1590 songs and took around 12 hours to complete. If it continues to be stuck for a day or two I would suggest restarting the scan.

    Did you try unplugging the power cord for a few seconds, then plugging it back in? That usually fixes similar problems for me.
