How long will SAPRSEUJ run?

Hi Guys,
Does anybody experience about this report? (EU_INIT batch job)
Can somebody explain how long will it run after a system installation?
(Other question: do we really need to run it after an installation?)
Thank you in advance
Balazs

Hi Balazs,
see SAP Note 28022: "The report has a very long runtime and can run up to 100 hours (5 days)".
You can control the progress by SM37 job log which displays a line after every 1000 objects (more than 200.000 in total) and by SM50 process details (number of RFC calls in the bottom lines of the details)
I experienced that this job is very slow on VIRTUAL machines (Hyper-V host and machines with Microsoft Windows 2008 RTM as well as Microsoft Windows 2008 R2). Furthermore, when running very slow, this job often slows down all other system activities. As a workaround I scheduled a daily job EU_INIT starting in the evening, and every day in the morning I kill the job process in TA SM50 so that our developers can proceed with their work. This procedure lasts some weeks ...
Also pay attention to the different programs that are run by different EU_INIT-Jobs:
SAPRSEUB for SAP Basis objects
SAPRSEUC for Customer objects
SAPRSEUI for Incremental changes
SAPRSEUT for objects changed after Transports

  • Mighty Mouse goes wireless, but how long will it run on those batteries?

Time to buy something useful, but the tech specs don't tell how long the Mighty cordless Mouse will run on those AA batteries? (which are included by the way)

Today is the first day it is available in the United States. As with all wireless mice, I suggest getting rechargeable batteries and a fast recharger. The more mAh the battery the longer lasting the charge will be. There are special AA batteries made for digital cameras which last especially long. I've avoided wireless mice simply because the seem to run out after a couple hours on rechargeable batteries. I would not depend on a wireless mouse exclusively, since Bluetooth is not available to the machine at startup, and one of the ways of ejecting disks is to use the mouse at startup.
I'd add, since you have a Powerbook G4 1.25 Ghz, I'd post further questions regarding your computer on the Powerbook G4 15" Aluminum forum:

  • Downloading ML over 80 min's......how long will this go on???  MBP early 2011 running 10.7.3

downloading ML over 80 min's......how long will this go on???  MBP early 2011 running 10.7.3

I have a late 2009 MBP and I have noticed that just surfing the internet has caused the machine to run 20-30 degrees hotter. It used to hover around 40C (according to iStat...obviously it would climb under a load) when I was bumming around the net (no videos) and now it is anywhere between 60-70C doing the same stuff. I didn't really notice it till the other day when all I was doing was working on some bash scripts so at that point it was under very little load and it just seemed quite warm.

  • Tablespace....contents=TEMPORARY.. how long will data reside here??

    Hello all,
While creating a tablespace we have the option, PERMANENT OR TEMPORARY.
Well, in the oracle 8.1.6 db that i have; the temporary tablespace is like this... A tablespace was created with TEMPORARY and it is used as the temp tablespace.
So unlike with the original temp tablespace(create temporary tablespace...), i just cannot drop the datafiles of this tablespace once they become large.
If i have created a tablespace with TEMPORARY, how long will the data stay there ??
    TIA,
    J J

For a dictionary managed tablespace defined to be temporary, the sort extents might not be de-allocated while the instance is running, but are marked as free and can be re-used as required which would mean that the sort segment could potentially grow. The Oracle server stores the information about the sort segment in the Sort Extent Pool which is part of the System Global Area (SGA). Every statement that needs to sort in the temporary tablespace checks this part of the SGA for free extents thereby eliminating the need for frequent allocation and de-allocation which in turn reduces the contention due to the ST enqueue.
The SMON process is responsible for the cleanup up of the temporary segments within dictionary managed temporary tablespaces and is something that usually happens during instance startup. If you want to forcefully wakeup the SMON process to do the cleanup then you can maybe change the storage attributes like the maxextents of the temporary tablespace (change it to some number and then put it back to unlimited and give it a minute) and this might trigger the SMON to do the cleanup.
    Good luck......

  • How long will the shuffle stay on repeat?

I want to use a Shuffle as an on-hold device...how long will it continue to repeat?

Until the battery runs out of charge...which varies depending on the power consumed by the device plugged into the earphone jack..."*Up to 12 hours of music playback*" according to Apple.

how long will quicktime pro movie record?
That depends. How much free space do you have available on a single drive? Which compression format do you plan to use? How fast is your CPU. Barring the unexpected, QT 7 Pro will record until it runs out of scratch space. Frame rates are dependent on your CPU power which means newer, more powerful platforms record more frames per second and thus tend to have higher data rates up to the max standard for the system. Lastly, the compression format/device type/device capture size/graphic complexity combination also determines the average data rate. So, as long as the average data rate times the duration of the clip is less than the amount of free space available on your hard drive, you can record continuously.
i would like to record a 10+min onscreen movie clip.
If by "oncscreen" movie you are referring to a "screen capture" of a movie, the QT 7 Pro will not do this. You either need to use a third-party screen capture application or upgrade to Snow Leopard for QT X "screen capture" capabilities.

My ATV keeps telling me...  "an error occured loading this content"  I have tried playing this movie i downladed for 2 days how long will it take?  Why after resetting the ATV is it still not working...?

Did you try unplugging the power cord for a few seconds, then plugging it back in? That usually fixes similar problems for me.

  • How long will the Photoshop CS6 Beta be active for?

    Hi
I would like to know how long will the Photoshop CS6 Beta be active for. As a VFX Artist I will be testing CS6 in a production environment to improve workflow. Some of the features I want to be able to use won't happen for a few weeks yet as I'm awaiting content. I just basically would like to know that If I install CS6 now, will it expire in a few weeks or on 30 days? If it's very limited, I'd rather wait than have it expire on be before I can test it properly.
    Thanks.
    Mike.

Please see FAQ post regarding beta duration
    Thanks,
