Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

The screen lock button is broken so I can no longer take screen shots or lock my phone. Would I have to send my phone away to get this fixed and how long would it take? Also do I need to go to an apple store or can I take it to the verizon store that I bought the iPhone and AppleCare through?
You will have to take it to an Apple store genius bar. Some stores in the US are able to do repairs on the iPhone 5 series while you wait...but you will have to take it in and see if your store can take care of it for you.
Verizon cannot do repairs so go to the Apple store. -
I have created a website/blog with Wordpress. It appears to be on a slow server because it can't be opened or takes forever to open. A representative from Wordpress told me to download Firebug to find out how long each thing takes to load on the page. I downloaded Firebug but I can't figure out how to use it. Please advise.
OK. You've kind of skipped over the reason why you want to go back five hours, but my assumption would be that you've made changes to a Pages file that you want to revert.
There are two ways to tackle this. From Pages itself, open the current version of your document, and from the File menu, click Revert To, and Browse All Versions. You'll then be in the Time Machine interface for that file, and can browse back to the version you want.
Or, outside of Pages, you can select the file (or the folder it was originally in, if you've since deleted it) and enter Time Machine from the TM menu (it sounds like you've already tried this?)

If Apple has not received your phone, obviously it can't even be evaluated for warranty purposes. Have you tried calling AppleCare to verify whether they have received the phone or not? -

It is hard to say. If the part isn't in short supply it shouldn't take more than a day or two to ship. A 3-4 turn around isn't uncommon.

Just wondering something, When did 1080p become the norm and how long did ittake to get there? I wanna try and estimate how long it'll take for 4K broadcat/display will be on tv's. and for sale at reasonable prices etc.

There are few hurdles to go: standards, bandwidth and content.
Standards - are just a pita ... licences, patents, 'political' interests. 4k is incredible amount of data, so compression is of paramount importance - but which one? h265? VP8? ...
Bandwidth - actual satelite transmissions are for economic reasons often 'crunched to death': by numbers a 1080 picture, but so highly compressed it looks more like VHS
Speaking of VHS: the 'tape wars' then (VHS vs. the 'better' betamax), was finally decided by the p***-industry...
which leads to 'content': the fail of home-3D is mainly based upon the lack of content. each 'standard'=company offers a few titles - done.
To produce now in 4k is probably the future-proof decision; but as long as the consumer has no real 4k-'experience', we will stay with 1080p for quiet a while.
My personal foreseeing is:
4k-screens are used to display multiple pictures simultanously - just watch how the younger generations consume media: watching a YT-video, searching for the next, 'texting' WhatsApp meanwhile, receiving pics by FB, listening to Spotify all the time..
.. and maybe, some content gets delivered in native 4k .. -

I have question concerning the iPhone 4s. I am currently not sure if my iPhone 4S shows a malfunction or not.
After switching on my iPhone 4S it can take more 45 seconds before the dialog to enter SIM card PIN is displayed. I observe the same duration with two SIM cards from two different providers. It is not fully reproducible. In some care cases the dialog for requesting the SIM card PIN is also displayed after a few seconds. On my iPhone 3GS and my iPad this dialog is always displayed with the same SIM cards already after a few seconds. Could you please let my know how long does it take with your iPhone 4S?

RolandI had a similar issue activating by HTC DNA. The activation instructions Verizon sends are horrible since they explicitly mention that you do not need to call in to activate your phone. I left my SIM activation running overnight and it just didn't work. I finally called Verizon from my work phone the next day and the agent informed me that you do need to call to activate your SIM card. You will need to have your SIM card ready when you call (to provide the long string of numbers on the back of the card). Hope this helps!

How long does it take to be an "official iPhone Developer?"
I decided that I wanted to be a iPhone developer a couple of days after the March announcement. So I filled out the contact information, and of course got the reply that the beta program was full.
Fast forward to July 14th, when I got a email from the iPhone Dev folks that my application was being reviewed. It is now July 26th, and I still haven't got an answer back. Does it really take this long to even become a developer??? Can someone get turned down? If so, why? Do you have to tell Apple what you plan to develop?
I have never had to go through such hoops to become a developer for any other platform. You just pay your money and bang there your are, if you even need that. I'm not an official OS X developer because, I really don't need pre-released software.
Also, since all I want to do is just run my own apps on my own iPhone/touch, do you really have to get the official stamp of approval for Apple to get a 'signature"? Do you have to go through Apple to even distribute your apps, even if you may or may not sell them?
Finally, is there anyway to get a file to your iPhone application to read outside of adding it to your application's resources, or create a socket and read it in?

edjiI signed up to be an iPhone developer two days ago and today I have my app running on my iPhone. It takes less than a day to get signed up. BUT, you need to watch out for one thing. When I originally placed my order for the $99 SDK I seemed to have checked some tax related checkbox I shouldn't have. The order completed as expected. But 36 hours later I had no email showing the order and I wasn't accepted yet. So I logged into my account on the Apple online store and looked at my order history. Sure enough, my order had a big red flag (not literally) stating I needed to fax in some tax exemption form. What? So I called the 800 number on the bottom of the screen. Since I'm an individual this shouldn't have been required. The guy on the phone sent me over to the small business dept who took care of the issue and the next day I had all my emails showing I was in the program.
So if you sign up these days and it takes more than a day, check your order status.

I am waiting now for serveral weeks (6!) for my developer licence... but nothing.. no email, no response (just the autogenerated one) from apple (i wrote 2 mails yet..)
i would just like to know how long did you wait everybody? A friend of mine (and colleague) has also send the request weeks ago now.. the same: no response.. is it maybe for firms easier to get it?
i bought a macbook air and an iPhone - just do develop.. and i really have to say that i am disappointed.
i mean: we have really good ideas (at least, we think so) and are doing mobile apps also as our diploma thesis for university.. but we cant test the software without this sh.. licence.
apple, go on that way and you will lose many creative minds. we all know that your marketing is special, but this is just.. stupid. android is waiting, the opened symbian is waiting.. so, what are you doing?
