How manager phone numbers in large cluster

hi,all
I want to know in large CUCM clusters(10000+ phones) how to manager the user's phone numbers?Any product help this job?I'm rellay confused.

If you want to use a provisioning tool to help manage this (likely the easiest route), then you can check out various offerings from 3rd-party vendors such as 2Ring's MACC, CUPM (Cisco Unified Provisioning Manager), and even vendors like Mitel have products that help with this.

  • How Many Phone Numbers Can A Single Contact Have?

    Hello,
How many phone numbers can be assigned to a single contact?
Somehow my phone number has gotten onto a shared telemarketers data base and I have been getting at least a call a day. (Yup, I have even been on the Do Not Call Registry for a few years.) It seems as though you can only block 30 individual contacts, so I created a "Do Not Answer" contact and dumped all of the restricted numbers into it. So far I have 35 numbers. I am just wondering how far that I can carry this strategy for my sanity.
    Peace,
    Dr. Z.

In my experience, you can assign as many numbers as you want to a contact.

  • How manage two numbers files in the same screen to compare data

    Hello,
I have two - 2 numbers files that I want to compare data between them in the same screen, How can I do that? Like in Excel you can compare two differente files in the same screen with the option windows cascade or something like that.
    Please Help Me.....

First, turn off the abomination that is called "Full Screen" -- ported from the iPhone, land of tiny screens and single tasks.
Then resize the first window to take up half the screen and place it on the left. Open the second spreadsheet and resize its window and place it on the right.
    Compare.

  • Contact bug : contact phone numbers in edit mode are not shown in "dial" mode

Contacts can have seemingly unlimited phone numbers as seen in the contact edit mode, though very few are shown in the corresponding non-edit mode. Of course, Dialing is not supported in the edit mode.
I have found that contacts that include pause characters or block characters are not properly displayed in the contact "dial mode".  If you every try a conference call service, this is important to you.
At&t uses the comma as a pause, and Verizon uses the letter "t" as a pause.  *82 temporarily blocks your caller id.  Somehow the WebOS software that chooses which items to allow me to dial has bugs and worse, there is no clear way to prioritize so I am completely at the whim of the software.

I have tested entering 12 phone numbers on my own Pre Plus and all the numbers display in the normal contact field. How many phone numbers are you trying to to display?
The dialing options on the Palm Pre Plus are as follows:
To insert a two-second pause in the dialing sequence, enter a T where you want the pause to appear. To add a + symbol in the dialing sequence for international dialing, press and hold 0 (zero) in the location where you want the + symbol to appear. To insert a stop in the dialing sequence, enter a P where you want the stop to appear; to dial the next set of numbers after the stop, tap the screen.
As far as 3rd party special dialing character entry you would need to check with the 3rd party on how to enter this information into you device for your conference calling service.

It does not have a phone number check function. You will have
    to separate
the phone number into various fields or build a custom one
    and attached it
to the submit button (onclick) or the form.

  • How do i display phone numbers from Contacts in large type?

The phone numbers displayed in Contacts are difficult to read for old eyes.  How do I display them in a large font size so I can read them without glasses?  Is there a setting or an alternate app that can do that?

The only thing that I know of is Settings -> General ->Accessability -> Zoom
With that on, when you tap the screen twice using 3 fingers, the whole screen zooms.  I've tried the "Large Text" feature, but it does nothing to the phone numbers in contacts, just the text portions.

  • Using notes on iPad: how do I prevent numbers from being displayed as phone numbers?

Using notes on iPad how do I enter numbers such that notes thinks that they are just numbers, not phone numbers, links, or calendar events?
    Example:
Enter the line "Number: 00012345678".  The number is highlighted in yellow, tap it and I get the options to "Send Message", "Add to Contacts", or "Copy".
Enter the line "Numlet: 9H". The "9H" is highlighted in yellow, tap it and I get the options to "Create Event", "Show in Calendar", or "Copy".
I don't think this is an iOS 7 problem.

Personally, I think that an App like AirWatch would be overkill for the average home user and form the very little bit that I know about the app, it would not make sense from a money standpoint - IMO anyway. I don't use any third party app to manage devices.
I manage four iDevices in my iTunes library on my MacBook Pro. All four devices are mine, but all of them have their own unique content on them so it does take a little bit of extra attention to detail when I sync and make changes to the sync configuration. And because I share my Apple ID with my wife and daughter (who each have their own MBP laptops) every now and then I inadvertently download a previously purchased app that I didn't want (I delete more Disney apps than you can shake a stick at) and I scratch my head trying to figure out where that app came from.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, again IMO - that you can get the hang of keeping everything separate without the purchase of an enterprise app, you just have to be a little more aware of what you are syncing, and pay a little closer attention to what's going on.

  • How do you get a list of your contacts nick names and their phone numbers on line and print them out?

How do you get a list of your contacts nick names and their phone numbers on line and print them out?  I've been trying to figure out how to get the list to print out but I can't even find a complete list to view on Verizon's web site.  Does anyone know how to do this?

Log into your online account. In the, 'I want to', box type, Manage Contacts.
Place your cursor over any contact, a pop screen will appear with the option to print your contacts

  • How do we remove our current phone numbers from our old iPhones?

So my girlfriend and I both upgraded our iPhone 5 to the iPhone 6.  We backed up both phones and transferred everything to the new phones.  I was thinking about selling the phones but I noticed that my current number is still on my old phone and my girlfriends number is still on her old phone.  The number is located when
I tried researching this but nothing seems to work.  I did the Settings/General/Reset/Erase all settings and content.  I have tried doing it through iTunes.  Its like the phone is ready to be set up as new, and everything is cleared on the phone except our numbers.  We are not signed into iCloud.  I even signed on to my iCloud account on my girlfriends old phone but her number still shows.  Its very frustrating.
Bottom line, is I am trying to get rid of our current phone numbers that are still on our old iPhones.
EDIT: I just realized that our old iPhones still says Verizon on them.  Do we possibly have to deactivate the phones some how?  If so, how do we do that?

    Fixed the issue by doing:
Switched off Face Time (Setting -> FaceTime-> FaceTime OFF)
    Switched off iMessage(Setting -> Messages->iMessage OFF)
Switched on iMessage (The phone started “Verifying”the incorrect phone number, failed and set it to the correct ported number (seeSettings -> Messages -> Receive At -> Phone).
At this point the “My Number” (Settings ->Phone -> My Number) had also updated.
Switched on Face(Same “Verifying” as with iMessage, but tooktwo attempts).
Power Cycled the ‘phone and re-synced to updateiTunes (Summary “Phone Number” field).
    Hope this helps!

How can I get the phone numbers in contacts to appear with dashes between the first 3 numbers, the next 3 numbers, and the last 4 numbers?  Until very recently
it did so.  Contacts on my macbook pro does show up this way.  I do have a mobile me account and in the past syncing was no problem.  What setting has changed?

The phone number format as well as the date language and format and the time format are controlled by the Region Format setting. Go to Settings > General >International > Region Format.  When you change a region format, you can go back one page (to International) and see an example of the date/time/phone number format that your selected region format will produce.

  • How do I back up phone numbers from Nokia 6350 bef...

I got so tired of my buggy Nokia 6350 that I went to my service provider's website (AT&T) and bought an iPhone 3GS. When it arrived I read the instructions, found some confusing directions there and am in the process of asking for clarifications in the AT&T discussion forum.
The reason I'm posting here is that my brother, who works at a cell phone call center, advised me to back up all my phone numbers from the Nokia before attempting this flip phone to smart phone transition. I have a USB cord that connects the Nokia to my PC, but Windows XP tries to "install the new hardware" and looks for a CD. I never got a CD with the Nokia. And I can't use the Ovi suite because -- just my luck -- the 6350 is one of the minority of phones not compatible with the Ovi suite.
How do I back up all phone numbers before I attempt to copy them to the iPhone 3GS?  I'm very frustrated..
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Download the pc suite instead of ovi suite. U'll find it under the support page of ur phone on Nokia's site
Please mark the post as solution if it solves your problem.

  • How do I sort my phone numbers inside a contact? (using custom labels)

Alright, since I've converted to iCloud, I'm now adding new contacts in there. However... before I was adding phone numbers through Address Book on my Macbook (that ended up creating a conflict with iCloud so I'm now using iCloud). What I want to know is... in address book you can set up a "default template" for your contacts (to include spouses, children, multiple addresses, phone numbers etc) I have created several labels for phone numbers, so I know which carrier they are since most of my contacts have 2-4 cell phones (all different carriers). Anyways, in address book I have for example ATT as the primary one on the list and then example: Verizon, Sprint, Tmobile & last the home phone). I have it set in that way, so even if someone only has ATT & Sprint, ATT will be at the top. Since I switched to iCloud (the carriers are all jumbled around in the contact and the reason I had placed them in a specific order is because I have one or two of those first carriers). Please let me know if you know how to change this in iCloud? Thanks!!!

    Fair enough.
I started doing this before unlimited data and emails on phones was a common commodity, on my Samsung Blackjack.
I then continued it due to its convenience. My only counter argument is this:
Even when emails are set to immediately push, I am always notified earlier by this forwarding message (sometimes by several minutes/hours due to the fact that it is not dependent on my being connected to 4G or wifi to receive it.
Also, to contradict snozdop's point that both methods use data and battery, I say this - when I use the forwarding method, the information comes in a pure text format and therefore uses considerably less information than an HTML and CSS rich email, with embedded images and such -also, unlimited text messages aids curve costs.
I will, however, give this method a go. In any case, a solution to my original question would still be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks guys.
