How many addresses can i send an e mail to in one go? is there a limit?

I am trying to send a mail to all my contacts in one go. is there a limit on how many addresses can be entered into the to/cc or bcc lines in one go?

Every mail service provider imposes such limits. The limits for iCloud are given here:

For legitimate bulk mailing, you should use a hosted service such as "MailChimp."

From what I have understood about the email client , it responds off the email providers size limit when sending email but sending larger files from your device without using wifi may take forever to complete, I have sent out 5-6 mb presentations through my yahoo accounts that originally have a 10 mb limit but it is wiser to use wifi to send files of this size because if signal is weak or lost file can sometime become corrupt but it appears that they still send.

I found out that road runner will allow me to send 1000 email in a 24 hour period. The question is, can I put 950 email addresses in the bcc and send it, or is it too many e mails at once. How many or what is the max emails you can send at once? Thanks

Try less than 100 at a time, (less than 50 for some ISPs).

Restrict how many emails can be send at a time by Email job RSCONN01

Hello All,
Is it possible to restrict how many number of emails can be sent out from SAP by the email send job? My requirement is - if there are 20000 emails sitting in the send queue, can the dispatcher send out 2000/3000 emails only every time RSCONN01 job runs (currently this job runs every 10 mins). So when the first time job runs, 2000 emails are sent out. After 10 mins when the job runs again, next 2000 emails are sent out.
I looked at the variants for RSCONN01, and there is no field which provides this restriction.
Any help?

I think there is a solution:( but i can not test)
Activate parrallel processing:server group with 1 availablel process.
Maximum Package Size                         2000
Minimum Package Size                           1
Maximum No. of Send Requests            1

I used a smart group in Address Book to send a BCC email to using "Mail". I get a error message that says the recipients are not valid, but I know their addresses are. Im assuming that the # of recipients in the BCC field are too big. What is the capacity I can send?

Apple Mail probably has no limit, but in addition to any limits that may be set by your service provider, emails with very long lists of addresses (like hundreds or thousands) may be filtered as potential spam by some of your recipients' mail servers. If you are concerned about the number of recipients you can use a mailing list service like Constant Contact or Campaign Monitor that can help format emails so that they avoid tripping spam filters.
But if you are getting an error message about validity, it is probably not about a numerical limit. It is more likely to mean that one or more of the addresses is not formatted correctly, like a letter or symbol is mistyped in a contact record in Address Book.

Many times, I receive an e-mail forwarded by a friend whose other friend forwarded him the same e-mail. Soon, the forwarded e-mail is very long since it has been forwarded so many times. Is there a limit to how many times an e-mail can be forwarded? First, there is no limit. Second, avoid the problem by having everyone you know remove your name from their lists. Third, direct all such forwarded mail into the trash directly by creating a Mail rule. Ask all your "friends" to configure their email program to not include the text of the forwarded email in the body of the forwarded message (and if they send all this stuff to you from an email list, are you really their friend?)
If you cannot resist, then simply remove all the repetitive included forwards from the message before you send it to some other poor soul.

With the paid version - How many people can I send to at one time? Are there any download limitations (bandwidth or number of downloads limitation)?

I've grown to hate Hightail and was attempting to find out how Adobe Send compared - but the documentation is pitiful. I do webinars which means I may have a 200-400 people who will be downloading the file. Does the paid version allow this? What's the maximum size and the maximum number of downloads?

The only practical limits on the number of attachments that can be sent in an email are dictated not by Oracle, but by the individual SMTP servers you are dealing with. Many SMTP servers limit the total size of an email (e.g. 4 Megs) which would effectively limit the number of attachments you can send. However, this is only a total size limit so you could have many small attachments or just a couple of large attachments, or anything in between.
Then again some SMTP servers may have no such limits.

Limits are set by your email provider not Thunderbird software. Ask them.

I don't think there is a numerical limit of addresses. It's probably based on a maximum file size limit like 4GB, although, there may not be a limit.
