Details of interactive report subscriptions are available in the APEX_APPLICATION_PAGE_IR_SUB APEX view. The maximum size of a subscription email address is 255 bytes.

  • How to save a user version of interactive reports in 3.2.

    My users ask me to save a "modified version" of a defined interactive report (eg. the want to change the selected columns and the remember them).
    When I connect to a report as developer I see a "Save Report *" option which asks me if I want to apply the "configuration" as default for all users (this is not my need).
    When I connect as normal user I simply don't see any save option.
    I read in the documentation it's possible (if I understood well) but I din't find the way.
    My reports were developed in 3.1 and then migrated to 3.2.

    That can only work if you use an Authentication scheme (so not on a ' Public' page).
    And check the Report Attributes of that Report: Is 'Save Report' ticked?

  • How many characters are recognized in the Boot-up Password field?

    How many characters are actually recognized when I create my Boot Password in Mac OS X 10.4.10?
    At one time OS X only recognized the first 8 characters. Any more than 8 where ignored.
    Is this the same today?

    I googled around and found this:

    Actually, Panther does not limit the password length to 8 characters. They can be much longer. The issue is that if you have upgraded from a previous version of Mac OS X to Panther using 'Upgrade' or 'Archive and Install' (keeping your existing user accounts), your existing user accounts will still use the legacy "crypt" passwords, which are limited/truncated to 8 characters.
    Any new users will be created with the new password style, which does several things:
    * does not restrict password length to 8 characters, and does not truncate at 8 characters
    * does not display the crypt password in NetInfo Manager
    * uses the functional equivalent of the /etc/shadow framework on other systems, concealing the encrypted password from other users
    * changes the password type from ;Basic; to ;ShadowHash; in NetInfo manager, and uses the new authentication scheme
    To enable this behavior for existing users, simply reset the password using the Accounts pane in System Preferences, or the 'passwd' command.

  • Known limit for how many characters can be entered in the To field when adding People and Groups ?

    I am running MOSS 2007 SP1. I browse to site settings > People and groups and a group which has more than 60 members. I select all > Click Actions > Email Users. Nothing happens. I select less users, new outlook window comes up as it should. I am running outlook 2007. I first thought that the limit was 50 users, but different user selections let me select 51 users as well. I then concentrated on the character limit and I noticed that there were about 1580 characters in the To field when I selected 50/51 users.
    Is there a known limit in sharepoint/outlook client for this function on how many characters can be entered in the To field?

    Hello Amar,
    This is a by-design behavior, not from SharePoint side, but Internet Explorer. The limitation by the 2083 characters in IE for the Max URL length is described in the following KB article:
    (KB208427) Maximum URL length is 2,083 characters in Internet Explorer
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;208427
    As a workaround, you may need to divide the list up and not send all the email at the same time. Hope it helps!
    Best Regards,
    Lionel

  • How many types of user defined functions are there?

    how many types of user defined functions are there?

    Hi Ramakrishna,
    A user-defined function is only visible in the message mapping in which you created it. You can insert the function in the data-flow editor as a standard function by using the User-Defined function category.
    You can use the following user-defined functions:
    1.Simple functions, which can process individual field input values for each function call. Simple functions therefore expect strings as input values and return a string.
    2.Advanced functions, which can process several field input values for each function call. You can import either all field values of a context or the whole queue for the field in an array before calling the function. For more information, see Advanced User-Defined Functions.

  • Is there an app that will show show how many characters one uses in an SMS?

    Apple are still not showing how many characters are used when one send an SMS, does anyone know why? and if there is an APP that will take care of this? Thanks

    I'm not sure if it will work for international texting, but I use AIM to text my friends all the time.
    Just put +1 followed by the phone number, including area code, without any punctuation, and it works for within the US. And when your contact replies, it goes directly to your AIM account.
    There is also a way to send texts using your email client, and the replies get sent directly to your email inbox. There is a service called teleflip that will do it. Again, I don't know how well it works internationally.
    The best thing to do would be to try both solutions out.

    Hello Yuliang,
    The maximum number of local database accounts that could be created is 2048. You can configure the size of the local database with the command:
    config database size <512-2048>
    NOTE: This local database count is shared between the following entries:
    MAC filters (clients)
    AP MIC/SSC (AP authorization list)
    Dynamic Interfaces
    Management users
    Local net users
    Excluded Clients
    If you are asking about the number of simultaneous wireless clients, I believe the 2125 supports 350 active wireless clients.

  • How many characters can a String hold?

    How many characters can a string hold, and can i give the value of a JTextArea to a string? Thanks -

    well, you could try it, it should only take a few lines of code to see how large a String can get.
    I think a String can be larger than the text of a JTextArea, not sure though.

    How you import essbase users list into Hyperion reports?

    I don't think this is a standard feature of Hyperion Reports.
    Why do you need to see all the users in a report. Administrators can always query EAS, Shared Services or MaxL.

    Hi,
    Thanks, this is what I came up with:
    st05,
    check SQL Trace, Activate Trace
    Now, in Rsa1
    on Cube, Cube1,
    Manage, Performance tab, Check Statistics
    Again, back to st05
    Deactivate Trace
    then click on Displace Trace
    Now, in the trace display, after scanning through  the output,
    “ … how do I see the SELECT statements that the "Check Statistics" command executes …”
    I will appreciate your help.

  • How to send a conditional email with interactive report subscription

    Hi,
    i have an interactive report with subscription.
    I would like to send an email with the attachment only when the query returns one or more records.
    How to to this?
    Apex 4.0.2
    Thanks in advance
    lukx

    Well, to understand your requirements can I ask this:
    You said earlier you want a report sent whenever records that meet a criteria exist, correct? So you want the application to query for a condition, and when that condition occurs (a row with primary Key = X, a select COUNT(1) for rows with column X returns a result of 1 or more)
    Then you would schedule a batch job:
    BEGIN
    -- Job defined entirely by the CREATE JOB procedure.
    DBMS_SCHEDULER.create_job (
    job_name => 'Send_Email_Procedure',
    job_type => 'PLSQL_BLOCK',
    job_action => 'BEGIN Test_For_COND_SEND(); END;',
    start_date => SYSTIMESTAMP,
    repeat_interval => 'freq=hourly; byminute=0',
    end_date => NULL,
    enabled => TRUE,
    comments => 'Job defined entirely by the CREATE JOB procedure.');
    END;
    This would in theory run hourly and run your test_for_cond_Send process, in which you would test for the condition and send an e-mail if it was found that would contain the results from your query/report.
    Here is a link to generate a PDF report that could be sent via e-mail: Re: how to save pdf in APEX 3.0
