How many computers can you install Lion after purchasing from App store. My wife and I have our own Apple ID will it accept 2 different ID
I have a MacBook Pro and an iMac . My wife has a MacBook and an iMac. How many computers are you allowed to install from one download. We both use Apple products and have our own Apple ID. Can I download Lion on her computers after I have both of mine installed? Or does she have to buy LION again using her Apple ID# ?
A single purchase of Lion will allow you to download it multiple times as long as you use your Apple ID.
If your wife wishes to install Lion, she must sign into the App Store with your Apple ID.

How many computers can you install Final Cut on with one license or purchase?
This is an excerpt from the FCPX license, available here.

2. Permitted License Uses and Restrictions.
A. Mac App Store License. Subject to the terms and conditions of this License and as permitted by the Mac App Store Product Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms and Conditions (http:// www.apple.com/legal/itunes/ww/) (“Usage Rules”), you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non- exclusive license:
to download, install, use and run for personal, non-commercial use, one (1) copy of the Apple Software directly on each Apple-branded computer running OS X (“Mac Computer”) that you own or control; and
(ii) if you are a commercial enterprise or educational institution, to download, install, use and run one (1) copy of the Apple Software for use either: (a) by a single individual on each of the Mac Computer(s) that you own or control, or (b) by multiple individuals on a single shared Mac
Computer that you own or control. For example, a single employee may use the Apple Software on both the employee’s desktop Mac Computer and laptop Mac Computer, or multiple students may serially use the Apple Software on a single Mac Computer located at a resource center or library. -
How many computers can you install the micro soft Office 2011 on.
How many computers can you install the Micro Office 2011 on?
A full (retail, single license key) MS Office license permits you to install Office on 1 desktop Mac + 1 portable (laptop) Mac provided 1) you own both computers and 2) you do not use Office simultaneously on both computers.
Beyond that, it depends on the specific Office package you have. Some packages have more specific terms.
For example, if you have MS Office Home & Student 2011 you will have 3 activation keys permitting you to install it on 3 computers, period. (Not 1 desktop + 1 laptop per license key.)
The license key pertains to the computer (device) not the number of user accounts on the device. So, if you have 2 or 3 or more user accounts on your iMac you only need to use 1 license key for the iMac itself. You apply the license key (activate the software) only in the admin account under which you installed the software. Once you activate the software in the primary admin account, Office will be usable in all user accounts on the iMac. Do not try to activate the software under other user accounts on the same Mac - if you do you will unnecessarily use up more license keys. -

I have multiple devices (iMacs, Lap tops, Ipads) all connected to a Nas Drive. Can I create a user for myself and one for my wife and we each have our own apple ID's, Itunes etc, but share the same data on the hard drives? So when she logs in, and sync's her ipads, they will sync with her stuff and when I do the same under my user account, on the same device, my ipads will sync with my stuff?
You can share the same Apple ID for purchasng form the iTunes and app stores without any problems, but you should all used separate iCloud accounts with separate Apple IDs. (You are not required to use the same ID for iCloud and other services as you do for the iTunes store.) This will prevent you from ending up with merged data. You should also use separate Apple IDs for iMessage and FaceTime or you will end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls.

How many computers can you install software on
I have elements 10 installed on one computer can I install it on another?
I am pretty sure you can put on two computers. I think after you put the serial number in, Adobe will let you know whether you can put another copy on or not. It keeps track of how many times you've installed it. I hope that makes sense.

How many computers can i install lion on?
just wanted to know, is there a limit on downloads of the new system?
You can have up to 5 devices ( that includes PCs ) authorized with an iTunes account
Lion can be installed on any Mac authorized on an iTunes account that purchases Lion
Therefore, if you have 5 Macs & all are associated with the same iTunes account, you can install Lion on all 5 for 1 Lion purchase. That means that all the Mac share the same iTunes media, purchases, etc, since they are all on the same iTunes ID
There doesn't appear to be any limits to how many times Lion can be reinstalled ( downloaded ) onto the same computer. Since the OS is now licensed to the iTunes account ID, changing the internal hardware, ie hard drive, etc, won't affect licensing, unlike windows vista

On how many computers can you install iWork?
Im not sure how many times I have installed my iWork.. maybe like three... This time around it comes up as if it was bleached, kinda wasched out.. You cannot see the colours.
If you bought the iWork as a whole, there are two possibilities :
single license --> a single machine is allowed
family license --> 5 machines are allowed
If you bought separate apps thru Mac App Store, you may install them on every machine registred under the ID used to buy.

How many computers can you install adobe creative cloud on?
I purchased the Student discounted Creative Cloud and have downloaded it on a desktop at work and a workmates laptop. Can it be downloaded a third time onto my personal laptop?
>and a workmates laptop
You just broke the license... YOU are allowed to have it on 2 computers, not you and someone else
Cloud License allows 2 activations http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html
-Install on a 2nd computer http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1452292?tstart=0
-Windows or Mac does not matter... 2 on the same operating system, or 1 on each -
Unable to download Mountain Lion after purchase from App Store
Hi
I have purchased Mountain Lion from the App Store. When I try to download i get a message stating that it cannot be downloaded. My Mac Book Air has the correct specifications needed but Apple won't let me download the software. Are you quite sure? Check your model identifier. If you have the first model released, then it cannot run anything past Lion. Be sure you meet ALL the requirements.
Upgrading to Mavericks
You can upgrade to Mavericks from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mavericks can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for FREE.
Upgrading to Mavericks
To upgrade to Mavericks you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Download Mavericks from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mavericks is free. The file is quite large, over 5 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mavericks- System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mavericks
1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.

How many computers can you install Logic Express 8 on?
Do they offer a family pack or do you have to buy one for each computer?
The agreement can be found here
http://images.apple.com/legal/sla/docs/logicexpress.pdf
Section 2 first para
Simply you can install it on one laptop and one desktop (See the para for specifics) at the same time, but you can only use on one of these at a time.
You cannot therefore have the same license on two laptops, you need two copies.
How does it check? No idea. I don't have two apple computers.
