How many DCNM license would be needed?

I am considering DCNM Enterprise features activation in my fabric. I have Nexus 1x 7000, 1x 5000 and 2x 4000.
In official description, DCNM license is only an option in Nexus 7000 and has a specific part number of N7K.
If I would like to active all enterprise features on my all Nexus Switches. Can someone tell me how many DCNM-N7K-K9 would be needed?
Or just one can cover all my Nexus?
Thanks very much

Salut !
As far as I know you'll need one license per nexus 7k you want to manage. If you want to manage several types of nexus switches, take a look to the "DCNM enterprise license".

  • How many server licenses do I need for SharePoint 2013?

I am new to the concept of CAL. I am reading about it. I found this linkhttp://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/101914/how-many-server-licenses-do-i-need-for-sharepoint-2013
Suppose there are 2 users in the sharepoint farm. As per above link we requires 7/8 server license. So my question is do we requires 7/8 licences per user basis (2*7/8) or we requires 7/8 licences once only then we require 2 more licenses for 2 users (7/8 +2)?

    The second option.
If you have 7 SharePoint servers then you need 7 SharePoint Server Licenses.
If you have two people in your company who can use SharePoint then you need two Client Access Licenses (7 server, 2 CAL).
If you had two hundred thousand users who could then you would need two hundred thousand CALs, but the number of server licenses would not change. (7 server, 200,000 CALs).

  • How many Sql licenses do i need

    hi ,
With one sql license how many users can connect concorrently to SAP Business One.If there are more than 50 SBO users how many sql licenses do i need to take?
    Thanks
    OmPrakash.

    Hi Om,
Generally if we install a SQL Server licensed version by default we get 5 user liceses, so i guess u need more no of CAL (Client Access Licenses) and generally 1 CAL would cost u around 3000-5000.
But when ur talking abt 50 users i suggest u go for the SQL Processor based license which will be cheaper.

  • Project Server 2010 how many CAL licenses do I need?

    Hey Guys,
We have Project Server 2010 running for two years now.
We are preparing for the true-up yearly exercise with Microsoft to count the nbr of CAL licenses we need.
As Project Server admin I have been asked to provide an access log of the users accesing Project Server.
Is there a way to know how many users are accessing Project Server so we know how many CAL we need?
I alreayd read the project server 2010 licensing guide (http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/8/8/F88B3241-3E27-4BDD-8A01-ABF2422FB31C/Project%202010%20Licensing%20-%20Licensing%20Guide.pdf)
but it does not help me in this case.
    Thanks in advance

I found my answer here :

From there you can filter out the Active vs. Inactive Resources, and get your counts"

  • How many SCAN IPs would be needed ??

During a discussion topic arose that incase two node cluster 3 SCAN IPs are needed as recommended by Oracle , What if i have more than 2 .
Say i have 5 nodes cluster then would I have 6 SCANs or 3 ?
Thanks for your help in advance.
    PKM

    Hi PKM,
    Say i have 5 nodes cluster then would I have 6 SCANs or 3 ? Answer: *3 Scan IP/Listeners*
SCAN is a domain name registered to at least one and up to three IP addresses, either in the domain name service (DNS) or the Grid Naming Service (GNS).
The scan listeners will run on three nodes in a cluster (or all nodes if there are less than 3). If you have more than three nodes, regardless of the number of nodes you have, there will be at most three scan listeners.
The database registers with the SCAN listener through the remote listener parameter in the init.ora/spfile. If any of these clustered processes fail, they are automatically restarted on a new node.

  • How many airport expresses would I need for a 3000 square foot apartment with minimal walls?

The apartment is open-air style with minimal walls. I have two airport expresses currently and am wondering if this will be enough to cover the entire apartment? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

You'll get about 50ft @ (-6db), you'll get about 100ft @ (-12db), both of these are useable figures, beyond a 100ft it will be patchy
This assumes your AE is in free space, which it won't be as you need to plug into something, the more intersections (wall/ceilng wall/floor) the greater the chance of multipath rejection.
3000sq ft relatively empty of dividers is a good space, but I would use 2

  • How Many SQL Licenses?

Our DBA needs to know how many SQL licenses to purchase.
Is that number based on how many users we think will be
accessing RH at one time...or is it just one license?
    Thanks
      Doug

    Hi Doug,
Unfortunately even I am not aware how SQL Server licensing works
What I can tell you is the you will need single user name and password account to access SQL Server from RoboHelp Server 8 for a single context and then number of concurrent database connections for that account depend on factors I explianed in my last mail.
I have a hunch you should need a single license as SQL Server supports a large number of concurrent connections for single user account. But again as I said, I am not sure on this and you would need to get this confirmed.

  • How many LabVIEW licenses out there?

This Q isn't of a technical nature; but I'm searching for reasons for my superiors to support my effort in creating a LV solution for our device. The bean counters need to count their (potential) beans.
Does anybody have a ballpark idea about how many LabView licenses are out there? I realize this is a big number, but what order of magnitude?
I realize that universities are big users.. would you say that MOST schools use LV in some capacity?
    In industry: What industries?
If you can help me with this, then I can go back to being a software weenie and take off this ill-fitted marketing hat. Then I'll start pelting you with tech Qs.
    Thanks-
    Suz.

    LabVIEW is everywhere!
I am not sure if the total number of LabVIEW developers is public information, a better number would probably be the market share in test/measurement/instrument control, etc. software. Another number would be the count of deployed system with LabVIEW under the hood or used in development. This is probably also rapidly growing, especially counting FPGA and embedded systems.
Have a look at figures 1&2 from this article. It shows LabVIEW way ahead at 32% long ago (Q1 2004). There are probably newer numbers available somewhere.
Just wait a few years until all the particiants of FIRST enter the job market and things will really start rolling exponentially.

  • How many TREX systems do I need?

How many TREX systems do I need?
    1 for non-production and 1 for production?
    1 for all systems?
    dev->tst->prd ?
    any help would be appreciated

Depending on the size and the activity in DEV and QAS, generally one server would be sufficient, just be sure to put a decent amount of RAM into the server (by decent I mean around 16).  You can have both sets of indexes on one TREX instance, and the majority of time, no one knows the difference.
Here's the caveat, though.  If you're going to be testing with hundreds of users in QA, all performing searches at the same time, then you might want to split them up.
Also, depending on the number of documents and searches in production, you might consider a distributed approach there, as well.
    Thank you.

  • I'm going to buy a new iPhone, how many GB's do I need?

Rather than get a new iPod, I plan to use my new iPhone 4s for my music.  I'll probably have about 800 songs, will use many apps, cruising the internet, watching video, and storing some pictures, bbut probably only around 100 or so.  How many GB's will I need?  8? 16? 32?

What is the storage capacity of your iPod and what is installed on it besides music?
A movie purchased from the iTunes store will take up 1+ GB of storage - the longer the movie, more storage space required. The new 4S is available with 16, 32, and 64.
In regards to storage capacity, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Whatever storage capacity you choose, you won't be able to increase it. You probably won't go wrong with 32GB.

  • How many Public Certificate do I need for Edge federation with Skype

    Hi All,
I am trying to setup Lync 2013 with Edge to federate with Skype.
Now how many Public CA do i need to be able to setup Lync Edge to federate with Skype,.
    Thank you,

    Hi,
You need to have to add the CA where you're getting the public certificate from. By default, most common Trusted CA's are included in to the Windows OS it self and does not need to be added manually.

  • How many other people would like to see a "GarageBand-esque" skin/gui???

how many other people would like to see a "GarageBand-esque" skin/gui for logic express/pro???
i use all three apps a lot, and the main thing i really enjoy about GarageBand is the simple single window interface.
i would like to see apple make the option of having a single window skin for logic.
    iMac CoreDuo 2ghz/2GB/500GB   Mac OS X (10.4.2)

The good thing about the Logic GUI, how grey and dull it may look, is that you don´t focus on it. It is pleasant to your eyes--and mind.
Garageband is for fun. If Logic should have a lift, I think inspiration should come from Final Cut. An app that initially was developed maybe 10 years later than Logic.
Problem with Logic is that it has been on the run for such a long time.
Quite a few menus haven´t changed in almost 15 years, well 10, then.
(Look at the much loved/hated environment)
Can´t help compare to SX, that had a completely new GUI, with the switch from Vst to SX. At a glance it is much more elegant than Logic.-And many features are superior to Logic--But, as your arrangement in SX grows, your screen will be cluttered--In a mess...all the bells and whistles.
And Logic remains cleaner in it´s dullness.
But, I´m very much annoyed with the GUI of a few Logic instruments.
The worst is Sculpture. Well, the GUI may be fancy enough, but do you have to use a magnifying glass to watch? It is just as bad as Reason!
I remember doing a post about upgrading graphic cards (I have 64 mb) and was adviced: No use, you will not benefit from upgrading, if you primarly use Logic....So Logic has a poor resolution or what? I don´t know, Tell me.
