How many documents in the doc?

Hi,
I have just converted from PC to Mac. On the start menu on Windows, I could easily see how many documents from each program was open. If I had lunched 4 documents from Word, 4 "tabs" would appear on the start menu so it was very easy to swich between them.
On the Mac (Snow Leopard) it just shows the Word icon and a little lamp is running below it to show me the app is running.
But it does not give me any chance to swich in between those documents! I have to click the icon and if the documents are stacked on top of eachother,
I have to manually move them to get to those who lies in the buttom.
I know exposé is an obtion, but if I have a lot of apps and documents running, all the documents show up so small that it is often impossible to tell the difference in between the documents. So then I have to click, click and click to find what I want.
Does not Mac have a better solution for this? It was so so so much easier on windows.

Just wondering if there is a limit to how many documents can go inside a folder in iCloud (Pages). I'm using Pages on my Mac and want to move all my Google Docs into Pages but I'm worried I'm going to hit an Apple ceiling. If it's unlimited, that'd be great!

Error message when trying to play music on computer states The song ... could not be used because the original file could not be found. However, my library shows how many items and the GBs used. How do I locate the files?

When I try to play my iTunes music on my computer, an error message comes up and state "The song (title of song) could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?
When I click on Locate It, I cannot find where the music file may be located. Does anyone have any suggestions?
This all occurred when I attempted to do a backup to an external hard drive. Unbeknownest to me, the files did not copy over and do not appear on the external hard drive.
When I open my iTunes library, at the bottom of my music list it shows how many songs and the GBs, so it appears that the files are still there; however, cannot be located.

When tracks in iTunes display a it means the file cannot be located; it may have been moved or deleted. You'll have to locate the file manually if it is still available. For more information refer to the following article:

You're allowed two installations/registrations. Anything above that requires deregistration on one of those computers.
Take note that if this is Photoshop CC, it's as easy as signing out on a system; there aren't any serial numbers involved as it's all tied to your Adobe ID.

This question was asked back in 2008 and has been archived, however I'd like to revisit this issue.
What I'd like to know, is this:
How many contacts can the iPhone hold before it effects performance?
I have a iPhone user with an MS Exchange email account on the phone, Calendar and Contact sync is turned on. The problem is, the user has 10,000 contacts.
The contacts synchronized to the iphone, however, when writing emails or doing any task that accesses the contacts database (i.e. auto-completion of names), There is a good 35 to 40 second lag before you can enter the second letter of a name on the keyboard. I can only assume that this is due to the pure insanity of having 10,000 contacts on a mobile device... The search takes too long. Although it did work just fine on the blackberry (a lessor device ).
Can anyone tell me if there is a limit on how many contacts one can successfully store on an iPhone without running into the "lag" issue?

What is the overall size of all these songs?
This will determine how many songs the iPhone can hold.
The actual capacity of an 8GB iPhone is around 7.3 GB - OS X alone takes up approximately 500MB.
You should leave some free space available on the iPhone for general operating purposes and if you access any email accounts and for Safari cache purposes, etc.
So you have around 7GB available - as long as the overall size of all 9400 songs isn't greater than 7GB or so, you are covered.

To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
In the Dialog box that comes up, choose Sound to AIFF, or one of the other sound options. This will create a file that you can drag into iTubes.

How many times does the JDBC sender adapter retry in the ' Retry Interval' specified .
I know that it retries after the time specified in the ' retry interval' , but if it again fails after the first retry will it retry again and again .And while doing it will it block the next Select query which should get executed.

The no of times to be retired on failure of message is default 3 times.

My question relates to how many clients can be connected to a 2600 series AP. The documentation states 200 clients per radio and the AP has three radios. However when my AP gets to 200 it rejects further clients with the following log:

I see this exact message many times and each time the radio mac address is the same and the number of clients connected is 199. The same mac address is used for both 2.4ghz and 5ghz so does this AP have a single logical radio covering both 2.4 and 5ghz frequency ranges and is the limit for all connected clients 200?
When viewing the AP details under the Wireless tab it only lists one mac address for each AP for both 2.4ghz and 5ghz frequencies.

The limit 1 refers to how many clients over the max limit failed. As a log is created for each failure every entry will be 1.
Our problem is we have 200 client devices in a charging rack near a single AP. Whilst they are charging and turned on they consume very little bandwidth. These devices are not PCs or laptops and consume very little bandwidth when they're in use and this is confirmed by the switch interface reporting throughputs of about 5Mbps for all devices on the wifi network which consists of 11 APs and a single WLC.
I will try and limit the number of clients per AP down to 100 for the AP at the charging rack and 60 for all other APs and see how we go.
